[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] A shiver ran up his mind as he thought about that. Never knew if you tried. It was true. But he desperately did not want to try. “Yah…” Was all he said in reply, letting out a weak chuckle before she finally let up on the subject a bit. So, all of that was to say, just be yourself? Heh… that was easier said then done. How long had he been faking his emotions? For as long as he could remember.
“You make it sound so simple.” He joked, laughing a bit, “But if I act too much like myself I wont be getting all the dates I want.” Though perhaps that would be a good thing. He could weed out the people who actually accept him for who he was. But then, if he didn’t have someone to be with each night than how would he claim he wasn’t lonely? After all, he only had one friend. “But… maybe I’ll give it a try. Can’t really hurt, can it?” If he screwed up with the person he just left and didn’t see them again. It wasn’t like he had a hard time doing that. “How did you get so sure on these things anyway?”

However, when he finally asked that last question, her face suddenly went rather red as she let out an awkward laugh. She let go of him then, and spun around in an odd motion to plop down, sitting and leaning back to prop on her hands, beside him but facing the other direction. She could certainly give some confident answer about spending most of her life watching and listening and analyzing people or having read through at least two or three books on the subject even if that didn't seem like much or something similar, but...
In the end, she just gave a sheepish grin, still blushing, and gave him the truest answer of them all. "That's easy, silly. It comes out of how I think about myself, and I'm always right!" She laughed a bit more. "Don't you know women tend to be like that?" Particularly stubborn thick-headed teenage Tauran women who really and honestly could barely conceive they might have been completely wrong. Even when Kali made a mistake, she tended to find a way where she was still technically right about this part or it was better anyway because that. Settling a bit and smiling more easily, she shrugged. "I guess it doesn't hurt I've had so much practice opening a man who was afraid to feel. Heh~"[/scrolly] | [atrb=style,border:0 black none;] | [atrb=style,height:22;border:0 black none;] |

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] Sne laughed at her reply, starting to feel a lot better than before. “Clearly I’m not around them enough.” He joked, before adding, “I’ll try not to forget.” He had actually heard ladies claim that before. It seemed to be a joke between girls and guys. Kind of like how guys were always pigs. They could be more reserved then the lady beside him but he was still the pig. “You mean with Leon?” He asked, the image of the white haired man coming back to his mind. He had noticed it was odd that they guy had never gotten upset at him for running into him, hitting on his girl and wasting his time. “Did he… have missing feelings too?” If he did then perhaps… well maybe he could ask how to deal with it. Then again, until she answered he wouldn’t know if it were the same thing. Leon could have just been holding back his temper or anger rather then actually showing it. Sen wasn’t holding it back… or at least, he wasn’t fully. Perhaps he was a bit by refusing to try and get them to surface. Or even letting them surface on his own.

She became a bit distant at this, staring off at the sand beyond them, which had finally settled down completely. "He doesn't like when I talk about him too much," she replied at first. "These things are secret, and I'm the only one he trusts with it.." Nathan didn't count, given the circumstances.
After a moment though, she sighed and added, "Not missing though. Just very well-hidden. He just.." She hesitated, wondering just how much she should say. For that matter, she'd already forgotten just how much she had vaguely said before. ...Eh, she'd stay safe over sorry. Maybe one tiny obscure bit. "Was really afraid to let anyone see him as he really was. Everyone he'd ever been close to left or hurt him." She grinned rather smugly now. [scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] A small, “Oh…” exacted his mouth when she claimed that Leon didn’t like her talking about him. He guessed that made sense. After all, she was his wife to be. If he wasn’t an open person it would make sense that she was the only one he would reveal things to. He probably expect her to keep it to herself. He just kind of hope he might… well it didn’t matter.
Then, she answered the question anyway. It was kind of funny but he didn’t question it. “I can kind of understand that.” Sen replied though he wasn’t sure how good he would be at hiding his emotions like that. “So in other words you pestered him into opening up” Sen teased knowing already that she had mentioned this before. “I know this has nothing to do with anything, but, what were doing all the way out here anyway?” For some reason he hadn’t asked her that yet and when it came to mind he just couldn’t help but ask. He knew why he was out here. Kel had needed him to be. He had just gotten himself side tracked was all.

When he changed the subject, she debated whether or not to take it back, but decided she'd been pretty well done with that anyway. She shrugged and smiled lightly. "Searching for Pokemon," she told him flatly before her grin widened. "Or that's my official answer anyway. I was actually kind of hoping to go swimming a bit while I was out this way." Actually.. "Speaking of.."
She looked around then, confirming that the sandstorm had indeed subsided, wondering then if she'd actually caught it with nice enough timing or if it might have just been some Pokemon fighting. Their storms did tend to be lighter and shorter. Eh, not like it mattered much. It was still over, so she stood up and began to strip down with no hesitation or warning, revealing a black and red and gold bikini under her normal clothes. Dropping back down to dig through her bag, she suddenly remembered, "Oh hey!" She'd gotten so involved in the main questions she almost forgot. "I was gonna ask: Who's Kel? ...Not the 'him' before, I assume?" [scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] That last time he had talked to her she had been searching for pokemon too. It kind of made him wonder what they needed the pokemon for but didn’t get the chance to ask when she suddenly took her clothes off, revealing a bathing suit. For a moment he just stared at her before finally shacking his head as he began to put the things that fallen out of bag earlier back into it. At least now he was clam enough that the stuff would actually stay in the bag.
Sen had just finished getting the last item into his worn bag when Kali suddenly asked about Kel. For a second Sen froze trying to figure out how she had heard the name. He didn’t remember saying it all but then he knew he must have said it. Other wise, how else would she have gotten the name? “He’s nobody.” Sen lied, zipping up the bag and setting it to the side, “Just some guy I met a long time ago. One night stand and all that jaz.” Puff, as if he could actually sleep with Kel. The guy was like a father to him. Sure he had the red hair and perfect eyes that Sen loved so damn much but… no. The guy had saved him when he was little. He’d been with him ever since then and it just wouldn’t be right to sleep with father figure, would it?

Raising an eyebrow, she asked, "A one-night stand hit on enough girls in one night to see how their guys 'always' acted..? Enough to make such a strong impression you make a point not to emulate him despite your own lack of guilt? ...And he still had time to spend the night with you?" He couldn’t tell her who Kel was. If she found out anything about his gang and Kel found out then he would be hung in a tree by his toes. Wait, maybe he could tell her about Kel without telling her everything about Kel. She didn’t tell him everything about Leon. In fact she wouldn’t tell him much about the guy at all and she was marring him!
“He was the guy who found me.” Sen stated looking down at his bag with a light smile on his lips, “Around when I was ten. He saved my life so I guess you could say he’s one of the few I’ve never run from.” His voice seemed to sound rather, cheerful, while talking about Kel. It was true. He had never felt fear around Kel. The guy always seemed to make Sen feel calm even when he did things Sen didn’t necessarily agree with. Heck, it was even Kel who gave Sen his name.

The big idiot. He was too cute when he was being evasive, somehow. As he went on, she went back to her bag and finally found her sunblock. It was finally almost summer again, after all, and Kali was loving this heat. Soon enough, it would be really warm, to a point of mild discomfort. ...Which, of course, to normal people, was considered face-melting. Hehehe. Kali did love the heat.
"Ah, I see," she rang lightly, even as she was starting to apply the block to one arm. It was pretty weak, but hopefully keep her from burning. Really, she sort of just wanted to prove she could, in fact, tan nicely when she went about it properly, rather than wandering about almost aimlessly in the wilderness for months as she did the previous summer. But anyway, it was nice to hear Sen did in fact have at least one solid friend besides her, even if the guy did sound like less than the greatest role model from the bit before.
And Kali went blank as suddenly it hit her.. that... Kel would probably be like a father figure- or at least a really cool big brother depending on his age. And.. that... Oh. man. She was suddenly just managing to keep a laugh silent as she looked at Sen something between infinite amusement and utter disbelief. "Kel... wouldn't happen to be the one who taught you to steal, would he?" It was probably a long-shot, but how could she not ask? Ah man, that would just be... She continued doing her best not to laugh aloud.[/scrolly] | [atrb=style,border:0 black none;] | [atrb=style,height:22;border:0 black none;] |

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] Sen was slightly taken back when she asked if Kel was the one who had taught him to steal. He hadn’t been expecting her to ask that question but luckily he was able to cover up his shock with a grin. “I can’t really tell you much else about Kel.” Sen replied calmly, still grinning, “He is a very private man much like your Leon.” He wanted to laugh as he said this. Comparing Kel to Leon was like comparing a rock to water. They were nothing alike other than they both had secrets they didn’t want others to know. That wasn’t the full reason why Sen was grinning though. He for one reason or another felt a bit of satisfaction getting to use that line on her. Almost as if it were some sort of a payback for her not being able to tell him more about the white haired man. Little did he realize, not answering her question was indicating that Kel had indeed been the one to teach him how to steal.
“Honestly though, after all these years I still don’t even know his last name. He refuses to tell anyone.” It kind of made him wish he had of paid more attention to the last name Ty had crossed out on his own wanted poster. At the time Sen hadn’t know that Ty was related to Kel at all. He had kind of reminded him of Kel and for some reason fell instantly in love with the boy but, well, he knew that was never meant to be.
If there was one thing he did know about Kel, was that he would give his very life to help protect the man. It seemed to be a neutral feeling though. Kel had told Sen before that if Sen were ever to go down Kel would be standing by his side taking the same punishment. It was something Kel told him often and for some reason that feeling alone made Sen trust and care about Kel more than his own life. “He did teach me to read and write though.” He knew Kel had to have a lot of self control to actually put up with trying to teach Sen how to read and write. Both subjects required one to sit still for long periods of time, something Sen wasn’t so great with. Though he was getting better with age. [/scrolly] [bg=4f2a66] |

Unless he'd taught himself or there was someone else important he hadn't mentioned, but Sen didn't seem the sort who'd spent too much time around very many people. Not that this couldn't have been a more recent development than life-long issue, but still, her suspicions were pretty strong. If it weren't enough, however, he did go on to say other ways this Kel was definitely a mentor to him as well... And...
Just as she was about to lose it, a delayed reaction hit that..... 'Master Ein'... That was... all she'd ever.... He didn't really seem to have..... OH MAN IT GOT EVEN BETTER. XD "YES," she exclaimed, suddenly falling over laughing and holding her sides, sunblock being dropped and quite forgotten for the moment. "Oh sweet Arceus just... YESSS." Between her ongoing fits of laughter, she managed, "You DO.... have a Master!... who's like a..... ARCEUS YES." And another twenty or thirty seconds of dying. "Leon's.... master..." A laughter that only seemed to grow even more after a few other words spilled from her mouth. Sen was truly at a lose to what she was laughing at. He figured it had to be something he had said but he couldn’t figure it out at all. Then on top of it all she claimed he had a master. “You think Kel is my master?” he asked in half confusion and half disbelief. He defiantly didn’t see Kel as a master. He was his boss, perhaps a father but not a master. Sen was free to do as he wished and could leave the man at any time. He didn’t… well ok, he did do everything Kel told him but only because he wanted to. And what did it have to do with Leon? Wow he was so confused and it didn’t help that she was still laughing.
After letting her laugh a bit longer he finally stood up and walked over to her, his eyes looking down at her with a blank expression. “I don’t get it.” He claimed, still looking down at her and waiting to see if she would stop laughing at him to actually explain in full. It crossed his mind that she just thought he was his boss or… well, master, but he didn’t see how that was funny. Did lots of people work for other people?

No wonder if Kel was private like Leon. "About--"
Her eyes grew wide and her heart stopped in a moment of realization before she suddenly let out a SHRILL shriek fading into more hysteric giggling, though this only lasted about ten seconds this time before she forced it down, though she looked like she may lose it again any second. "ALSO ABOUT FOURTEEN YEARS AGO," she announced dramatically, remembering Sen's rough age and when he'd been found, "Leon had.. a man take him in... who taught him his trade and generally mentored and became his boss and a father-figure. [scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] Sen actually found himself jumping back a little when she shouted something about fourteen years ago. He was still rather confused but it seemed what ever she was excited about was defiantly clear in her mind. Then, finally, she began to explain. Sen could feel himself sweat drop as he heard her words. All of that squealing and laughter had been over… the idea that… Well he had to admit, she was cute.
“Well I defiantly wouldn’t call the old man master.” Sen laughed after she finished explaining, “He’d probably back hand me or something. ” And now he had to cover up the fact that he worked with Kel because the nameless was something that couldn’t ever get out. It was point of there name even! They were the nameless because no one needed to know about them. “He and I are just friends. I mean, I owe him life after all. I wouldn’t have lived if he hadn’t of found me when he had.” And he would be forever grateful for that, “Plus he really is smart. Just, isn’t the nicest drunk. Well, he is a nice, just… umm… It doesn’t matter.” At least by claiming they were just friends he didn’t have to admit to there being a gang of thieves. “Besides, If I were a gay version of Leon Id be all busy in work and what not. I’m waaaay to much of a slacker.” He laughed at this, actually believing it to be true. In all honesty, for a thief, he was a pretty hard worker. He was required to gather more of money for his share of the group than any other member yet he made sure he also had at least double what he owed just in case.(one reason he never had money for himself) He was also the second in charge which gave him other duties to attended to. The entire time he had never screwed up or in their terms, received a strike, until his poster went up. He simply didn’t fell like he did much work because he was good at it. It just didn’t feel like work at all to him. “Oh and I bet he doesn’t like sweet foods as much as I do either!”

Of particular note was his choice of wording at a certain part. He'd already admitted he'd been his savior and mentor, and 'old man' certainly supported her theory of father over brother or the like, so to feel he needed to clarify their standing so adamantly... Ah, he did seem to really admire him, but perhaps that general familial-feeling had worn off since childhood and 'old man' was just habit now or something. Well anyway, moving on. She shrugged when he called himself a slacker, and was about to give him that one and point out a few other differences when--
OH GOD and she lost it again. About three seconds of 'wut'-face, and she was dying of sheer amusement once more. She again managed to keep it brief this time though, even if it had been severe enough at the start to knock her over again (not that how weak and out of breath the longer run had left her helped). "Sen, you could eat his blood on pancakes." She had to wipe some tears from her eyes at this point, praying to Arceus her makeup wouldn't smear. Water was one thing, but wiping it sometimes mussed it a bit.. Ignoring that for now though, she grinned like a lazing Cheshire cat.
"You didn't even get dessert when we had lunch," she teased. "The first time I went to a restaurant with Leon, he ordered the dessert menu. ...The entire dessert menu. And inhaled it. And I have scarcely been able to watch him eat without feeling sick ever since." Ah, such wonderful memories now that she didn't actually have to deal with it so badly anymore. "I can barely get him to eat without smothering everything in some kind of sweetener. ... And actually..." She grinned more. "One of the oddest presents I got for my birthday was witnessing him willingly, at a restaurant, with options, order a normal omelette with no syrup or anything and then actually turn down dessert!" She should almost stop trying to stop giggling... It just wasn't going to happen for a while. [/scrolly] | [atrb=style,border:0 black none;] | [atrb=style,height:22;border:0 black none;] |

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] Blood… on pancakes…? Sen almost felt like he truly was Leon’s gay double. It was kind of really freaky yet that for some reason wasn’t what was in his mind as she explained the first time she had gone out to eat with Leon. “[b[You can do that? |
[/b]” He asked in disbelief when he found out that Yue had ordered the entire desert menu. Not that Sen would ever have the money to do that but man, he always felt like after the second desert you weren’t aloud anymore. He had no idea why or how he got that idea but he had never ordered more than two deserts because of that. He just happened to have most of meals rather sweet. The only reason he hadn’t had a sweet meal when he went out with her was because he hadn’t seen anything on the menu that was. It was probably all a good thing he didn’t down the sweats as much as it sounded like Leon did though. After all, he was a thief and he required his body to be somewhat in shape. “ He has a cane” Sen finally blurted out just as it was coming to his mind. That was there difference. Sen didn’t need or carry around a cane. He had daggers but that was by far different. He was certain their choice on pokemon were different too. Though one thing he didn’t know was their outlooks on pokemon. Sen saw pokemon just the same as he saw humans. They thought and had feelings and what not. He knew new nothing about shadow pokemon but when it came to that subject he had no real opinion. After all, how could a man who was missing feelings comment on a pokemon missing all theirs? There was only one thing he would say about it… but of course he didn’t know anything about them. [/color][/scrolly] [bg=4f2a66][/td][/tr][/table][/center]

Both of them.. could be rather naive at times, too. It really was so damn cute. At the next bit he blurted, however, surprise was enough to silence her. "Huh?" She pushed herself up a bit, and when he didn't explain just blinked a bit. Apparently, she didn't tie in that the observation was supposed to be related to 'if I were just like him'. After a moment, she simply shrugged and informed him, "Well, yeah. He has no left eye, so.."
... Of course.. As soon as she said that, she started thinking about it and sweatdropped a bit. Even when she thought him having just recently hurt his eye was the reason for his bandages, she'd always assumed the cane had to do with bad vision... but... Now that she thought, she realized he carried it in his right hand as often as left, if not more, and he didn't always carry it.. And... =3=; Now Kali had to wonder how she'd never thought to ask if there was more significance. Eh, she'd stick with this answer for now and just make a mental not to ask him later. Shifting back from confused to amused, she admitted, "I love hovering to his left and picking at him from his blind side. Not that I do very often, but Arceus he gets so annoyed~<3"[/scrolly] | [atrb=style,border:0 black none;] | [atrb=style,height:22;border:0 black none;] |

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] “What happened to it?” Sen asked after she told him about the missing left eye. He hadn’t even noticed that the haired man had no left eye. Though as he thought about he did realize that he hadn’t seen the left eye either. The man had it covered by his hair. It made Sen wonder if he would have seen an eye patch or something. As for his question, well, it only seemed natural to ask. Kind of like how people asked what happened to someone when they had missing limbs or even just a black eye. Though Sen could never imagine not having an eye. It would make it very hard to continue his way of life. Of course, it didn’t mean he wouldn’t be able to continue it. He’d just need to learn different ways of going about it. It be more of a pain in the ass if anything. Sen had met a blind man once when he was younger and he swore the guy could move about just as well as a man who had sight. Then again, he was younger back then and would believe more. [/scrolly] [bg=4f2a66] |

She'd only just recently learned herself, and the truth was.... heart-wrenching. Horrifying, even. She'd already told him she couldn't say too very much. Rather than repeating this again, however, she just smirked, then feigned drama and teased, "Tragic Wurmple accident~" Her other choice had been 'fight club', but without knowing Leon himself that one might have actually sounded slightly plausible. Anyway, she hoped he'd get the point from the joke.
Remembering her sun block, she finally retrieved her bottle and started back at applying it. After a few moments, she looked at him and asked, "Oh hey, you want some?"[/scrolly] | [atrb=style,border:0 black none;] | [atrb=style,height:22;border:0 black none;] |
