Surprises (Elayne/Caden/Open)

Go figure that he had retained quite a bit of memory of birthdays and had remembered that it was in fact Elayne's. His mother had always sent all the family members birthday presents no matter how far across the relation, and because of this Felis had habitually memorized the birthdays of nearly all his family. Elayne was of no exception, though Felis admitted that it had snuck up on him rather well. Anyways, he was now planning a surprise party and had entangled his butlers as well as Miguel into this, and now he was setting up rather nicely. In his arm, he was carrying what appeared to be a rather large box. Within was the actual cake that he had baked last minute the night previous and somehow managed to hide from his dear cousin. Finally coming to the center of the gardens, Felis caught sight of the party already being set up. Rosa was giggling to herself as she messed with a blanket on the table that had been set up. Looking up, the blonde haired girl grinned wide and then ran over. "Got the cake?" she asked with a grin. Felis nodded his head and then made a motion to it causing the young girl to squeal happily and then run back. [/scrolly]

Tai and Tim had been pulled into helping with the party too. Tim walked over to Felis. "What do you need me to do now, Felis" Tim asks with a smile. Tai was coming over with a bag of balloons and started blowing them all up happily. ^_^ "Rosa! I got balloons =3 You can't have a party without Balloons!" Tai says happily as he started filling them all up with air. He stopped for just a moment to talk again. "Do you wanna help, Rosa?" he asks with a smile. ^_^ Tim was sighing a bit and shaking his head because of Tai. He and his balloons... he wanted balloons so badly... and Tim had no idea why.

He had even set about making small streamer roses for center pieces on the tables, though they were rather simple in design. When Felis had mentioned that it was Elayne's birthday, Miguel had been more than happy to help out, even if it was with something small like setting up streamers. Nearby, Evania was rather enjoying creating flower arrangements, there were so many beautiful flowers here it was rather easy to do really. By this time, the Dragonite had created two different flower arrangements and was working on a third, humming as she worked on making sure the flowers looked absolutely perfect. [/scrolly]

"Hmmm," the blonde haired man said looking around rather slowly and then grinning happily when he finally stopped at Miguel and the streamers. That was coming along very nicely indeed. After a few seconds, he caught sight of the gifts as well. They were stacked up in almost a pyramid form off to the side of the table. Finally stopping as his eyes caught sight of the sound system that had been set up, Felis made a directional point to it. "Would you mind checking that?" he asked with a light smile. Rosa beamed at Tai and then nodded her head before heading over. "Sure!" she answered back skipping over and starting to help out with the balloons. Everything seemed to be coming together nicely, and Felis was extremely pleased by it all though he was far from admitting it. Walking over towards Miguel for a moment the blonde haired man smiled. "It's looking good~!" he chimed rather lightly. At this rate, they'd be done and then Rosa could go get Elayne like was planned. [/scrolly]

Tim smiled. "I don't mind." Tim says with a smile as he goes over to make sure it was plugged in. Tai kept blowing up balloons with Rosa until they had quite a lot, then he started to tie them to things and one to his wrist. He smiled happily with his balloon and even laughed a bit to himself. "Uh.. does anything else need to be done?" he asks slowly.

Evania had finished the last flower arrangement, four in total and was setting them up on the tables rather carefully in the vases that had been brought for this reason. Looking around, the Dragonite looked a little unsure of herself and decided to look around the garden some more. Perhaps there were other flowers or grasses she could add to the arrangements that she'd missed earlier. [/scrolly]

She was still getting confused sometimes x.x but they did have slightly different voices, thankfully. Hmmm though... was that everything? Looking around a moment, Rosa finally looked back and nodded her head. "I think that's everything!" she suddenly called. Felis looked back and grinned a bit at Rosa's words after he had heard Miguel's. Looking back at his knight first, the blonde haired man smiled. "Yep I'm sure she's going to have a splendid birthday~ Or at least I'm hoping so," he chimed before then turning around fully and looking around once more. They had the cake. They had the table, the streamers, the music, the pizzas-.....Oh right. "Looks like we need one more thing," the blonde haired man suddenly grinned rather mischievously. "Rosa~! Can you go and find Elayne?" Felis called. Rosa's eyes sparkled a little as she nodded her head and then took off running towards the castle rather quickly. Felis grinned and then turned back. "Alright~! We have to make this the best birthday ever ok?" Felis grinned. Rosa was already flying through the area as she ran. It was possible a thought would have come to her to just have her Gardevoir teleport her, yet Rosalba Rossi had too much energy at the moment and was more interested in simply running it out rather than anything else. Heading straight back towards the castle which, in the end of it, wasn't far away at all, Rosa finally made it straight up the stairs of the castle and pulled open one of the doors before finally entering. Not ready to shout Elayne's name just yet, Rosa looked around and began to head towards Elayne's room. As she got down the hallway, Rosa called out. "Elayne? Elaaaaaayne?" Rosa called. [/scrolly]

Tai looked around and tried to see if everything was set. He smiled when it was, and simply started to hit his balloon. Tim was done checking everything and simply waited. "Yes sir." Tim says with a smile. His voice was deeper than' Tai's who had a voice that didn't quite fit him at all.

[Maid Melody]

Elayne was in her room, drawing Elly as she lay sleeping on the bed when she heard Rosa calling her name. Finishing the last detail on her drawing, Elayne closed the book and walked to the entrance of her room, leaning on the doorway with a gentle smile on her face as she saw the young girl walking through the hallway.
"Yes Rosa?"she asked rather calmly, sketchbook still in her hands.

Elly blinked rather sleepily from her position on the bed and yawned. Why was Rosa yelling this early in the morning anyway...? Stretching, Elly jumped off the bed and trotted over to where Elayne was, wondering what exactly was going on.

"Everyone find a hiding place. We'll listen and then when they're close enough we'll jump out and say surprise and happy birthday," the blonde haired man grinned before quickly moving behind the table and hiding well enough at least from the front view due to the table cloth. This was going to be interesting, heh. Rosa heard Elayne's voice and then seemed to quickly perk up before finally coming into sight of the older female. "Felis said that if I asked you and you said yes, I could go to Serenity Gardens. He needed both Tim and Tai today so I couldn't go with them and Miggy was working... so...so can you come with me?" Rosa asked with a grin on her face. [/scrolly]

Tai and Tim seemed to get ready for the surprise party as soon as he mentioned it. They both ran to different spots and hid. ^_^ This would be nice. They were ready to pop up when needed again, but for now, they were silent.

Miguel nodded at Felis when he asked everyone to hide and hid behind a tree, just remembering to return Evania who had just finished the flower arrangements and was now looking rather lost now that everyone was hiding. Pocketing the pokeball, Miguel waited until the guest of honor was to arrive.

Elayne smiled at Rosa and nodded,"Sure, just let me put my notebook down, I don't want to lose it. About how long will we be there?"she asked, wondering whether or not she should bring her bag or not. The gardens weren't that far away from the castle but even still, if she was going to be gone more than a couple of hours they would at least need something to eat...and possibly bring their Pokemon. Well, at the very least Elayne would still have Elly, the Espeon went everyone Elayne did anyway...what was she so worried about anyway?

"Uhm... I dunno... maybe an hour or more..." she answered back unsure of what really to say seeing as she wasn't sure how long the party would be. After a moment, she bounced on her heels a little and grinned. "Not too long," she finally smiled. [/scrolly]

Elayne nodded at the girl's words and decided to only bring her sketchpad and a few pencils. After all they weren't going to be gone long so it wouldn't make sense if she decided to bring her entire bag along. "All right, just let me grab a few things and we can go,"Elayne said in a kind voice before pocketing a few pencils, erasers, and walking out of the room and down the hallway,"What did you want to do when we get there Rosa?"

Elly walked calmly next to Elayne, tail swishing back and forth contentedly. To be honest, she was looking forward to exploring the gardens, perhaps she would be able to meet some new Pokemon there, that would be interesting.

"Go exploring through it! And maybe smell some of the different flowers and stuff!' she answered back rather easily. It was a simple sort of lie, but it would work in this instance to keep the surprise a secret for now. With that, Rosa slowly started to lead the way out of the castle and finally back towards the gardens. This was going to be fun...... Meanwhile, Felis began to hear the sounds of feet slowly walking through the gardens. Slowly looking up from where he was hiding, the blonde haired man grinned as he finally caught sight of the two coming. Oh this was going to be great. Looking back to where the others were hidden for a moment before looking forwards again, Felis waited a little bit longer as they drew closer before finally jumping upwards. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" he shouted out. [/scrolly]

Tai and Tim were both hiding, but the second they saw Rosa approaching, they jumped out. "Happy Birthday!!!!!" Tim calls out as he jumps out. Tai came out right after with the biggest grin. "HAPPY BIRTHDAAAAAAY!!!!!~~" Tai suddenly calls out, a bit late. Balloons and Confetti came flying out from the bush as he had prepared it. Tim thought Tai had a bit too much of an obsession with Balloons >.> but he didn't say anything and was smiling.

Miguel had stepped out about the same time Felis had when he heard footsteps approaching,"Happy Birthday."Miguel replied in a more quiet voice seeing as Elayne had already come across the party by this time.

To say Elayne was shocked would be an understatement but as the balloons and confetti, she jumped in surprise and dropped her sketchpad as a result. Looking at the party with a surprised look on her face, Elayne was speechless...in fact she had forgotten that it was her birthday today. After a few moments of standing there and all but gaping at everyone, Elayne managed to find her voice and was by this time blushing a rosy red color,"Who.......but..........why.........how........."Elayne said in a quiet but clearly surprised voice as tears welled up in her eyes.

Rosa chimed rather easily as though she hadn't even noticed just how shocked Elayne was. The young girl was instead beaming rather large and was a tad overly proud of her work in getting Elayne there. Felis smiled and stepped forwards before hugging Elayne lightly before releasing her again. "We wanted to have a perfect party for you," he laughed a little nodding his head at his own words. "And so we set everything up. Happy birthday again, dear cousin." Rosa broke out into a bunch of giggles and found herself running back towards Tai and Miggy. Taking one's hand in one of her own and the others in the remaining, Rosa swung both of their arms a bit. "Let's have cake!" she called almost a bit impatiently, but eh... ten year old and cake... one could understand, neh? [/scrolly]

To day was a happy day for Cora, it was her birthday and she wanted to spend in a place she loved. But really she wanted to be with her Mother but she was to far away to get to. Even if she flew on Charzard's back. So she would just be happy to spend it looking at flowers and even taking a whack at that maze again. Cora then started to hum a happy random tune as she walked into the gardens. But she heard people talking and want sounded like a party going on. Cora stopped and blinked, indeed it was party. But for who? So Cora walked a little closer to see all who was there. Thats when she saw Felis, Rossa and even Elayne??? And some other random people.

Cora then quickly hid behind some bushes as her heart raced. " Well... It seems like I walked onto a party for my sister..." Cora thought as she watched and saw how shocked Elayne was about this. " By the looks of it she was not expecting this at all... Well I better go.. I don't want to be a party crasher... I can spend my birthday some where else.. Besides no one knows I'm Elayne's sister.. I'm sure even Felis would not want a commoner showing up on a Noble's birthday.." Cora thought and she slowly stood up from her hiding spot and started to sneak out of the garden hoping not to be seen.

Tai was having a ball as it started. "I had to help out because I love parties!" Tai says happily as he showed the balloons tied to him. Tim sighed, but still smiled. He said nothing because.. well.. he wasn't much of a party person, and that's why Tom and Tai got along better. Tom didn't act like it, but he LOVED to party. Tai quickly ran over with another balloon that resembled a Pichu and handed it to her. ^_^ "Everyone deserves a balloon on their birthday!" Tai says happily. Tim noticed a girl trying to sneak away, and stared for a moment. "Uh... who's that girl?" he asks slowly. Tai was suddenly grabbed by Rosa and laughed a bit. "Who knows, but Rosa wants cake ^_^" Tai says happily.
