Elayne nodded when Felis explained what they would do next and looked over at the presents, daunted by how many there actually was ... but then again this was Felis. Even still, Elayne had never felt this ... special in a long time ... it was nice. Of course any day where she didn't have to constantly look over her shoulder was nice, and of course seeing her sister again was a nice surprise in and of itself. Elly smirked when Tai set Mudkip down and decided to play a little game. Using Psychic on a few of the flowers directly behind Tai, Elly picked them and made them float to directly in front of Mudkip's face. This would be quite amusing~.[/scrolly]

Reaching up to the table, she took a fork and then walked off to a supposedly comfy patch of grass. Sitting down, she crossed her legs and went to work on this cake. Mmmm so yummy! Meanwhile, Felis smiled slightly before walking over to the cake. "Indeed, Cora, he can take it from there~" the blond smiled lightly. [/scrolly]

But to make it worse Feils even had to say something. Ok, who knew cutting the cake was that big of a deal? ._.; Cora then started to blush a little and set the knife and backed away from the cake. Though Feils was not trying to make Cora feel embarrassed he did. She had no idea of the rules of the noble world.. Though not wanting to show she was embarrassed, Cora just smiled and gave a nod. " Right, sorry I was just... Ya.. I will be over there.." Cora said and pointed to a random spot. Cora then walked away and she could feel her face burning. Cora then sat down on the grass and let out a sigh. Well, this was a fun start to her birthday.. Cora then looked over at Elayne and smiled, well if anything this was the first birthday she got to share with her sister. That was something to be happy about. When Tim picked up Mudkip she struggled to get free. D< She was just wanting one flower!! And she picked flowers here before and no one cared! When Tim set her down Mudkip buffed out her cheeks and looked up at Tim with a angry expression. In fact she was about to use a mud shot at the butler if it where not for Elly making flowers come around her. "Mud?" Mudkip asked she then looked around before looking at the flowers and tried to make a grab for one. [/scrolly]

He started to chop up pieces like no tomorrow. Even if they didn't all get eaten, that just mean it'd be easier to eat if they kept any leftovers. "You can take whatever piece you want." Tai calls out for everyone to hear. He kept plating the pieces as he went, making it easier for everyone else. Tim was staring at the flowers, rather confused. He decided that he would let them be now, since it was too late to save them from being destroyed. He just sat there, kinda upset now. Poor flowers... He never wanted them to be destroyed like this. He wasn't even sure if Felis cared, but it was more personal for him because he took care of them. [/scrolly]

The cake seemed to melt in Elayne's mouth the moment she took a bite eliciting a soft Mmmm from her as she closed her eyes. It had been so long since she had tasted something so good ... ,"The cake is delicious Felis ... ,"Elayne said quietly after opening her eyes once more,"I can't remember that I've had anything like this before ... or at least for a while,"she continued before seeing what Elly had done. Sighing, Elayne shook her head and gave the Espeon a look before turning to Tim who seemed depressed and worried for whatever reason ... they were just flowers after all ... though Elayne supposed it was different for the gardener ... maybe. "I'm sorry Tim ... I suppose Elly thought she'd help Cora's Mudkip give her a present ... ." Elly lowered her ears at the rebuke and brought the flowers down to Mudkip's level before releasing them entirely. How was she supposed to know that Tim would get so upset anyway ... they were just flowers after all =/. Miguel took a slice of cake that Tai offered and bowed slightly, thanking the butler as had become his habit. Taking a bite of his slice, Miguel walked over to where Rosa was sitting and looked down at her,"What do you think of the cake Princess?"he asked kindly before taking another bite.[/scrolly]

"I love baking," was all he answered back thinking that over. He really wouldn't mind being a chef sometimes, if he could ever get out of being a Duke, that was. Felis blinked at Cora's reaction before turning his head to one side and sighing softly. Taking a piece of cake for himself and one for Cora, he walked over and bent down to offer it to the young woman a gentle smile placed on his face. "I know you were just trying to help," he stated quietly looking at he and continuing to hold the cake out waiting for her to take it. Meanwhile, Rosa's eyes had zeroed in on Elly and the Mudkip, and she had been watching what had been transpiring up until Miguel caught her attention. Looking sideways at the man, Rosa smiled. "It's super yummy," she answered back with a genuine smile on his face. [/scrolly]

Though her eyes went over to Mudkip and Tim. Cora did a face palm realizing what her pokemon had done. Well they had been here before and her little water type always at least picked one flower for her. Though it seemed today little Mudkip was told no. But it also seemed like she had a little help. Cora looked over at Elly and gave a small smile and nodded. That's when Feils came over with some cake. Cora blinked as she looked at Feils. She then gave a weak smile and took the offered cake. And she just nodded when Feils said he knew she was just trying to help. Though at the moment she had no idea what to say besides thanking him for the cake. " Thanks for the cake.." Cora said and went to take a bite out of it. "Mmmm Yummy"." Cora said with a smile. Mudkip looked up at Tim and saw how upset he was.. >.<;;;;; Mudkip then picked up the flowers then set them down at his feet. If she made someone upset about the flowers fine she would not take them. Then the water pokemon looked up at Tim. " Mudkip" she said in a sorry tone before she started to walk away. [/scrolly]
