[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] Kero smiled as he watched Alvaro apply the potion, making sure to be careful of the wings and feet. He even let out a rather relieved sigh when Alvaro reassured him that the Natu would be fine. He was relieved that the Bonsly would be too but well. Kero didn’t mean to be, but he did favour they flying type pokemon a bit more than the others. He couldn’t help it. He loved them so much. Surely the world wouldn’t frown upon him for it.
“Well it looks like everyone is going to be alright now” Kero reassured the Leafeon with a smile, “Though I have to admit. You’re two bug friends kind of frighten me. I know they mean no harm but… Kind of silly, isn’t it? ” He shook his head a bit and looked down at the forest ground. At least he was willing to admit his fear. That was one of the first steps, right?

The Ledian watched Alvaro carefully as he applied the medicine but made no move to protest, seeming satisfied that he was indeed trying to help. Turning back to stand guard, the Ledian said nothing more but continued to look for any sign of imminent danger seeing as she was the only one that was free enough to pay attention. The Butterfree looked overjoyed to hear that he could keep the jewels and did a flip in the air before uttering a happy cry and flying around Alvaro excitedly. This meant that he would be the handsomest Butterfree in the forest =3 and nobody would be able to protest. No, in fact he was the KING and nobody was going to say otherwise >3 . The Natu closed his eyes when Alvaro applied the medicine and seemed like he was about ready to fall asleep. Indeed he was exhausted but didn't want to do so when the Bonsly still needed him ... if she woke up and saw him sleeping, it would worry her ... . The Leafeon tilted her head and blinked upon hearing the admission from Kero ... why would anyone be afraid of them? They hadn't attacked the man and ... the Ledian was able to speak the human's language so Kero did know at least that. Mewing a question that could be taken as a curious 'why', the Leafeon looked up at Kero, truly curious to know why he was scared.

It had only been after he had heard Kero's words that it fully hit Alvaro how much it must have bothered him to be around so many bug types, and he knew he'd probably want to leave the area....Well, Alvaro could do without the Bonsly if need be, but for now he'd attend to something else. After a moment, Alvaro came back shoulder to shoulder with Kero just in time to hear the Leafeon mew some sort of question. Instead of answering it for Kero, Alvaro simply took the man's hand and held it gently. [/scrolly] |

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] Kero didn’t know pokemon talk very well, but he had understood the Leafeon’s mew to be something along the lines of, ‘why’. He was just about to open his mouth to answer it when Alvaro took his hand, causing Kero to turn and look at him. That simple motion of Alvaro gave Kero the very strong urge to kiss the man right there for being so damn cute but he held it back. Instead he gave a smile and turned his attention back to the Leafeon feeling a tad more relaxed. “I don’t really understand it fully myself but something that happened in the past with a bug pokemon just… leaves me unsteady.” Kero explained not really wanting to explain it any further than that. He was open to admitting a few things of his past but never to deeply. “I know it has nothing to do with them and its not their fault.” Like he had said before, it was silly. Yet even knowing this he still couldn’t push himself into not fearing them. Even knowing what the Ledian was saying didn’t seem to help any. In truth, this was about as close as he gotten to Bug types in a long time.

The Ledian looked over at Kero as he admitted that he was afraid of bug types and bowed to him, "My apologies ... I do not know what happened in the past that terrified you so, and I can see clearly that you do not wish to tell. Fear not, neither I nor the Butterfree will harm you. I say this because I see that you like bird Pokemon am I right? You needn't fear us if you wish to give him a better home, I'm certain that as long as he remains with the Bonsly he will most definitely accompany you. Goodness knows the poor lass has had a rough time because of her unique appearance, she was in this poor state originally because a group of bully Pokemon picked on the lass for her appearance ... shortly after that, the rogues sought to battle her only to leave her lying there in defeat. If it wasn't for the Natu, she most certainly would have been far worse off, for shortly after that the same group of bullies returned. I believe it would be in the lass' best interests if she were in a better home."she said in a kind voice, looking over at the young Pokemon with concern in her eyes.
The Butterfree objected at being called an ordinary Butterfree, he was a king after all! Didn't she see his gems! Dx And besides, he was far from ordinary ... no ordinary Butterfree had gems, they also weren't graced with the title of magnificent supreme ruler of all the glade such as he was, indeed he was the most handsome Butterfree in the glade, and now with his crown of gems, the ruler of the glade. But the green-haired man was still pretty ... and he wasn't even a king! He just had to know his secret and would even be willing to give up his kingdom in order to learn. Flying over by Alvaro, the Butterfree did a small flip in the air and flew around the man's head, completely forgetting that the black-haired man was afraid of bugs, not that it mattered to him because the Butterfree didn't believe he was a lowly bug such as the Ledian and thus believed the black-haired man wouldn't fear him (if he had bothered to remember). Looking at Alvaro, the Butterfree politely 'requested' (or rather ordered) the green-haired man to take him along so that he could learn his secrets which of course sounded like several repetitions of his own name, though the point was rather clear.
The Leafeon looked saddened when Kero said that he had had a bad experience with bug Pokemon, but this quickly vanished. She couldn't make them think that she was week after all, she wasn't some youngling still mewing for their mother. She had evolved and had long since gone her own way and was proud of it ... true she did enjoy having travelling companiions but that certainly didn't mean that she couldn't do just as well by herself. Rubbing against the man's legs in a gesture of kindness, the Leafeon tried to make it clear that she could trust her and her friends (as if the Ledian hadn't made that blatently clear already).
The Natu finally gave into his exhaustion and closed his eyes, he knew that the Ledian at least would still keep watch and she would be able to explain to the Bonsly that he was all right and merely sleeeping. The others would have been able to help as well, but they seemed busy with the two humans. Shortly afterwards, the Natu fell asleep next to the Bonsly, too tired to even attempt to remain awake any longer.

That... wasn't nice... Shaking his head a bit, Alvaro nearly smacked himself in the face with his clip but managed to bring a hand up just in time to see the Buterfree flying over and making some sort of request. Raising an eyebrow, Alvaro stared a moment and turned his head to one side. "Sorry," he stated after a moment. "But I'd rather not torment my Kero," he explained to the Buterfree. "Though... if Kero took the Natu, and I took along the Bonsly... they could at least be together," he stated looking at the Ledian. [/scrolly] |

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] Kero turned his attention to the Ledian as it spoke, listening to it’s words and nodding slowly as it explained that he neither insect would harm him. Even with the bugs reassurance, Kero still felt a tad insecure around them. “I will try to-” but he didn’t get through his full sentence as the Butterfree flew towards him and Alvaro. He knew the pokemon wasn’t attacking him but he couldn’t help but flinch. His eyes quickly closed and his hand tightened around Alvaro’s without even realizing it had. The beating of the wings and the sound of its voice… but it wasn’t hurting him… it was all ok. They were all friends.
Kero’s eyes opened again as he felt the Leafeon rub against his leg causing him to let out a small, nerves chuckle. Finally his eyes drifted over to the Ladien, then to the Butterfree. He was going to do his best not to be afraid. There was no reason to be afraid. These pokemon wouldn’t hurt anyone. No reason to… that’s when Kero clued into something. Perhaps something even Alvaro hadn’t realized when speaking. The Natu to him and the Bonsly to Alvaro… At least be together… If Alvaro was claiming that then did that mean he… he was seeing things more than a day ahead? Perhaps even thinking of a… commitment? That thought alone jerked at Kero’s heart. He almost wanted to- no he was. He could feel his eyes tearing up and burning already. But he wasn’t sad, he was happy. “Alvaro… you…” So then why was it so hard to ask him? That Natu… now he wanted it more than anything in the world. [/scrolly] [bg=brown] |

The Ledian nodded when Alvaro spoke to her, "That is good to hear, please, go ahead and capture them. I don't wish to see the young lass and lad suffer anymore. Goodness knows that we can only protect them for so long."
The Butterfree looked confused when Alvaro said that he didn't want to torment Kero ... that must be the other man's name right? But then ... why would being with the pretty man torment this Kero? Was he insinuating that he would hurt Kero? D= but, he wouldn't hurt anyone ... he just wanted to learn how to be pretty like this human. Sure he was the great and magnificent ruler of the glade, king of all the pokemon that lived there, but this human still said no? What was this madness that allowed the pretty man to say no to him and he was of course not insinuating that he was a bug. He was most certainly NOT a bug, of course the Ledian was a bug but the Butterfree was far greater than she. He was a king and therefore NOT a bug ... the very thought that this Kero was prohibiting the pretty man from taking him was insulting. Repeating his demand request once again, the Butterfree tried to make it clear to the pretty man that he was of course not a bug and therefore wouldn't 'torture' this Kero of his.
The Leafeon sighed at the Butterfree's words and shook her head before looking up at Kero only to find that his attention had shifted from her. Rubbing against Kero's legs again, the Leafeon tried to get the man's attention again ... surely she was more important than those bugs and the other human.

"I what?" he asked before the Ledian spoke and explained that she would allow them to catch the pokemon. Slowly pulling a pokeball from his pocket, Alvaro stopped again when the Buterfree made another 'request' to join. Sweat dropping, Alvaro found his face falling into a slightly confused expression. Looking at Kero a moment, Alvaro looked back again. "Are you... ok Kero?" Alvaro finally asked. [/scrolly] |

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] Kero sucked in a breath as Alvaro ‘I what’. He was about to spill what was on his mind about the promise that the two pokemon would be together but… Then the Ledian spoke again and well… his words just seemed to become lost in the moment. He still wanted to ask the question but he just didn’t know how. Perhaps when everything settled down and they were alone again he could… inquire about it. For now, he pulled out a pokeball from his bag, clicked the button and tossed it up into the air, the red light aiming for that Natu. Just as he had tossed the pokeball into the air, Alvaro asked if he was ok, which for some odd reason caused Kero to look up at the Butterfree. It was… kind of pretty… in a frightening sort of way… Perhaps it could serve to… help him with his fear?
Not saying word, Kero sucked in a deep breath before letting it out and nodding. He’d be ok. Just as he began to nod, he felt another nudge from the Leafeon which once again caused his attention to be drawn to her. She was incredibly cute and he had to admit, he was defiantly into cool looking pokemon even if they weren’t of the fire or flying types. He didn’t know as much about grass types as he did the other two, but, just like the bug types he did have to learn, right? Right.
Reaching out a hand, Kero softly began to stroke her fur, chuckling a little to himself. “You really are very pretty, you know?” He commented softly. Actually, her cuteness kind of reminded him of Alvaro’s… but perhaps that was just the green. Either way, Kero was dead certain Alvaro was one of the most beautiful creatures that worked the earth as well. It kind of made him wonder if he had told Alvaro that yet? He couldn’t remember. He knew he thought it lots.

The Ledian watched and waited for the little ones to be caught, keeping an eye out in case anyone should approach and try and take them by surprise.
The Butterfree nearly deadpanned when the pretty man looked confused and turned his attention to the other human instead of him. What was so confusing about his request ... the Butterfree had thought that he had made it clear enough the first time. Breathing out quietly, the Butterfree tried for the third time to convince the pretty man to take him with him. The pretty man would teach him his secrets darnit! Once again the Butterfree launched into yet another explanation how he was most certainly NOT a bug (as of course they were beneath him) and therefore wouldn't torment the other human. So of course with that logic there was no reason to refuse to take him along, and besides he was doing them a favor by gracing the humans with his presence. It wasn't everyday that the great magnificent king of the glade ordered requested to be brought along with humans ... he was even going to give up his realm to go with them! The pretty man would be lucky to have him travel with them on their journey, after all, who else would be able to match his beauty ... well aside from Alvaro but ... that most certainly didn't count!
The Natu was drawn inside the pokeball in a beam of red light and disappeared before a resounding DING was heard, though somehow even this didn't wake up the Bonsly.
Name: (You Choose) Species: Natu Gender: Male Ability: Early Bird Personality: This Natu is still rather young but he has a warrior's heart. He won't give up without a fight and stands up for what's right no matter the odds against him. A bit stubborn, once he has his mind made up he won't change it for anyone unless there's a very good reason. The only one that could possibly get him to change his mind and back down is the Bonsly that he was found with as he seems to have a soft spot for her. But beware, if anyone should make his friends (especially the Bonsly) upset or hurt them he will fight them until he's either too weary to continue or the offender gives up or can't possibly hurt his friends again.
The Leafeon purred when Kero complimented her and rubbed up against him. Well now~ that was better ... this human wasn't so bad after all~.

However, he was stopped by the rapid words of the Buterfree who seemed, at least to Alvaro, to be growing more and more distressed by the moment. Finally sighing, Alvaro looked apologetically at Kero. "I promise I'll keep an eye on him when he's out," he chuckled a bit to himself before finally sighing and pulling out a different pokeball. Tossing one ball at the Bonsly, Alvaro then presented the other to the Buterfree. If worse came to worse, he could always release it, really. [/scrolly] |

Kind of like how he knew he praised his Fearow too much as well. His pale eyes gazed up for a moment as he watched Alvaro’s two pokeballs scoop up the two pokemon before looking down at the Leafeon one more time, his hand finally pausing for a moment from his petting. “Hey, would you like to come with us well? The Bonsly disappeared into the Pokeball in a beam of red light before a resounding DING was heard indicating that the Bonsly had been captured successfully.
Name: (You Choose) Species: Albino Bonsly Gender: Female Ability: Rattled Personality: Timid and fearful of strangers, this Bonsly doesn't trust very easily. She trusts Alvaro and the Natu she was found with but won't go near other Pokemon or people out of fear that they will hurt her because of her odd coloring. Around those she trusts, this Bonsly is fun-loving, playful and even a bit of a tease but this side of her isn't seen very often. Still young, she isn't much of a battler and is actually quite fearful of battling others bigger than her, it will take quite a bit of patience and encouragement before she feels safe and confident enough to open up to others.
The Butterfree nearly flew into the Pokeball in his eagerness and allowed himself to be captured. The ball didn't even shake once before letting out a resounding DING indicating that the Butterfree had been captured.
Name: (You Choose) Species: Butterfree Gender: Male Ability: Compoundeyes Personality: Proud of his beauty, this Butterfree doesn't like to be ignored by anyone (because of course he's the only important Pokemon on earth and should be payed attention to) and in fact will become rather spiteful and demanding if ignored. He believes himself to be the king of all Pokemon and woe to those who refuse to acknowledge his kingship. If anyone points out the fallacy of his claims, this Butterfree will object to high heaven and instead claim that he had to give up his kingdom to travel with Alvaro (whom he believes is the master of all things beautiful). He idolizes Alvaro and is rather baffled how a mere human could be more beautiful than he, thus he has resolved to [s]stalk[/s] follow Alvaro until he learns how to become just as beautiful as Alvaro. This being said, he is always seen wearing the 'crown' of jewels on his forehead as 'evidence' of his regal status prior to [s]demanding[/s] agreeing to come with Alvaro. He refuses to believe that he is a lowly bug and is confused as to why [i]anyone[/i] would be afraid of one so great as he who is so very clearly not a bug or a just another lowly Pokemon for that matter (can't they [i]see[/i] the crown on my head D<!!!). Not one for battling, this Butterfree would prefer letting his lower 'subjects' do the battling while he just sits back and watches. Woe to the person or Pokemon that knocks the jewels off of him or gets him dirty because he will not rest until said person or Pokemon regrets the day they [i]dared[/i] to lay a hand on him. He will however protect Alvaro (even at the risk of getting himself dirty, though he shudders at the thought) because even though the human is a mere servant, what king would he be if he let a servant be harmed (especially before he learns Alvaro's secret).
The Leafeon purred and rubbed against Kero and was about to complain when he stopped petting her until he asked the question. Blinking, the Leafeon thought for a few moments before finally nodding her assent. At least this way she could keep an eye on the young Pokemon and make sure that they didn't get hurt again.
The Ledian kept an eye out for any more approaching Pokemon and stiffened slightly when she heard voices approaching. It appeared a Roserade and a shiny Lilligant were arguing over something or another as they walked ... but of what?
Nearby, a Togepi could be heard singing a happy tune as he walked through the glade, oblivious to the humans and the group of Pokemon nearby.

Yes, yes it was... But then... Slightly biting his lower lip, Alvaro was quiet until the sound of arguing of some sorts. Turning his head, Alvaro blinked slowly at what he saw. Clicking the button twice, the pokeball opened and the red light moved to pick up the grass type.
After the pokeball had closed, the sound of arguing had reached Kero’s ears as well, causing him to turn and look up. “I wonder what they are upset about.” he asked, looking at Alvaro for a moment before turning his attention back to the grass types. They were really pretty with the flowers and things, but he had no desire for them. His heart laid mostly with the flying and fire types, though every now and then he did find a few others interesting. [/scrolly] [bg=brown] |

The Leafeon disappeared inside the pokeball in a beam of red light. After a few shakes of the pokeball, a resounding DING was heard indicating that the Pokemon had been successfully captured.
Name: (You Choose) Species: Leafeon Gender: Female Ability: Chlorophyll Personality: A rather proud Pokemon, this Leafeon loves to be the center of attention. She is rather vain and believes herself to be the most beautiful Leafeon (or Pokemon for that matter) around. Not one for battling, this Leafeon would prefer to let others battle for her as she doesn't want to get her own paws dirty. Woe to the one who does get her dirty as she'll beat them into the ground until she's satisfied that they learned their lesson. Rather protective of young ones, about the only time she will battle of her own will is to protect young Pokemon from being harmed. She seems rather cold at first but this tough exterior is masking a more playful nature which as of right now is only seen when she's around young ones.
When the Ledian saw the two grass type arguing, she relaxed slightly ... well, at least the young ones were safe now. There was no need to worry, though the Ledian did wish that she would be able to see more of the young ones, she knew that because of the black-haired human's fear that this was unlikely. Turning her attention instead to the grass types, she tried to listen into what they were saying.
As the Roserade and the Lilligant approached, it became more clear that they were debating with each other about a certain someone ... or Pokemon. What's more, they spoke in clear English, though they still seemed rather oblivious of the humans. "Well ... doesn't that seem like a little much?"the Roserade continued, frowning slightly at the Lilligant. The Lilligant sighed and shrugged, looking rather conflicted at that moment,"I don't know ... but if I don't then he won't take me seriously. I mean he doesn't seem to listen no matter what I do now, maybe he just needs a wake-up call. Ya know?" "Yeah, but I still don't think that battling him will do any good, and you might get hurt ... ,"the Roserade replied, frowning more still. The Lilligant looked away from the Roserade for a moment before sighing again and shaking her head,"At this point I don't think I have a choice, he completely ignores me as it is ... if I battle him I'll force him to pay attention to me. He hasn't left me any choice ... ." The Roserade was about to respond when she caught sight of the humans and stared at them for a moment ... how much of that had they heard ... ? Seeing that the Roserade had stopped, the Lilligant looked up and saw Alvaro and Kero for the first time ... now what were humans doing here ... the last thing she wanted to run into right now was humans.
The Togepi continued walking cheerfully, not watching where he was going when he tripped over a branch and rolled ... and rolled ... right into Alvaro's foot where he promptly began to cry out of fear.

What were they....? Rather who were they talking about? However, when the Togepi ended up getting rick rolled up to him, he finally looked down and blinked. Uh.... Shrugging after a moment, he simply picked up the Togepi in quesio and held him. "Now now it's alright," he hummed a bit. [/scrolly] |

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] Kero had been quite while he listened to the two grass types argue. It seemed the one was having trouble with another pokemon. Or so, Kero believed it was another pokemon they were talking about. What was catching Kero off guard the most was that they were speaking not only about a subject any normal human being could be talking about, but they were also speaking in perfect English. That was three pokemon in one day. Pherhaps the Ledain knew them? He had been too afraid to ask the bug type how he had learned to speak English. It was actually very impressive to say the least.
When the two pokemon noticed them, Kero quickly looked away only to find Alvaro bending down to pick up yet another pokemon. Where had the Togetic even come from? Eh, that wasn’t a concern right now. The other two pokemon knew that they had been listening so it would be rude to pretend he hadn’t been now.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to eavesdrop, but I couldn’t help but over hear your conversation.” Kero admitted, looking back at the two grass types, “I know it also isn’t my place to say this but, I never found battling to be the best solution for things. At times it can cause more problems than before. Right, Ledian?” Kero took a few steps closer, standing up beside the bug type. Though it was evident that he was extremely unsure of himself and nervous about stepping up beside the bug type, Kero sucked in the fear anyway. The Ledian had been nothing but nice and informative towards them and Kero would be damned if he didn’t at least try to get along with the bug. It wasn’t the pokemon’s fault he was born as he was. The Ledian nodded, pleased that the black-haired man had spoken to her, though she could tell that he was still rather intimidated by her,"Indeed, battling sometimes does more harm than good. If your reason for battling is simply to get his attention then it would be for the wrong reason. Surely if you're patient he would listen to ye in the end."
The Roserade sighed, thankful that somebody else seemed to share her opinion,"Besides Lilligant, you deserve better than him. If he's too blind to see what's right in front of him then that's his loss." The Lilligant sighed and finally nodded,"You're right ... I shouldn't let it bother me. OK, I won't battle him then."
The Togepi calmed down when he was picked up by Alvaro and more or less clung to him. He didn't like rolling ... ;_; it had been scary.
