((Sorry for the lousy post.))
Wess watched the Gallade leave. He turned to look at the older male questionably. The young child engulfed Blair back into her Pokeball, and awaited the capture to complete.

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] Lance narrowed his eyes at the Sawsbuck for a moment before finally sighing and nodding as well. Inside one of his many pockets, he pulled out another empty pokeball and clicked the button before tossing it up into the air towards the Sawsbuck. His luck had sucked most of the day but he supposed he had just recived two Sawsnuck out of it. Two Sawsnuck it was going to take a while just to… stand next to without worrying about… eh…
Lance’s attention turned to the boy after the pokeball was used, his eyes narrowing once again. “Shouldn’t you be in bed like a good little kid?” He asked, a tad sternly before realizing that the Gallade was leaving. In a slight panic for a reason he didn’t even understand, Lance quickly turned towards the pokemon, “Hey, you can’t just leave!” He yelled out, sounding almost angered that the pokemon was even thinking of doing so. Though after the words left his mouth he realized it didn’t make a whole lot of sense. “How did you learn to speak in human tongue anyway?” Once again Lance found himself crossing his arms over his chest.

The pokeball drew in the Sawsbuck when it touched him, and the large deer disappeared inside. The ball rang without any sort of struggle at all.
Name: Species: Sawsbuck Gender: Male Ability: Serene Grace Personality: A rather determined and hard to break buck, this male believes that the only reason he is with his trainer is to defend his mate, a female Sawsbuck also captured by Lance. He utterly refuses to be separated from her and wishes nothing more than to protect and serve her. That being said, he will listen to Lance if a bit grudgingly, and he is prone to fighting when someone threatens either his mate or his friends.
Meanwhile, the emotion of panic followed by the voice caused the Gallade to stop and look back over his shoulder. At the question, he slowly smiled to himself. "I once had a dear friend who could speak it, and I learned it from her," he answered back. "Is there something you needed to which you called me to wait for?"

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] A deer friend who had taught him? How in the world did a dear learn… no it better not to ask. Pokemon were odd creatures it seemed. Though Lance had very little respect for most of them, one or two did end up impressing him. This one had done just that and now… well he found himself actually struggling on how to keep it. Perhaps it was just too human like for him. He was never too good at being friendly with humans either.
“It’s ahh… well it’s simple,” he exclaimed in a matter of a fact sort of tone before pausing to think, “You saved my life and that requires a proper thank you.” Ah yes, smooth one. He wasn’t sure why he hadn’t thought of that reason in the first place. “Also, you’ve impressed me. That doesn’t happen often, especially from a pokemon. Therefore I’m simply not going to allow you to just disappear. I‘d like to-” But before he could even get the next word out, a ‘hissss’ like sound filled the air next to them.
It seemed Vipin had finally woke and managed to make it back onto his feet. Now he stood in a rather offensive stance, his eyes narrowed on the Gallade. Luckily before Vipin could make another sound, Lance turned a rather annoyed look towards him. “Vipin, he helped us you idiot. Stand down.” With those words the Sceptile straightened himself and looked away from the both. Truth was, he was a tad jealous but Lance would never understand that.

The Gllade offered something of a smile at Lance's words but shook his head. He didn't need a proper 'thank you' or whatever it was that the human thought was required. He was satisfied with simply knowing that he had managed to defend someone. It was his way. However, the second statement caused the Gallade to smirk slightly. He'd like to...? However as Vipin seemed to come to, the Gallade's attention was taken away to the grass type. The hiss had only brought a half smile to come to his face. He assumed the defensive stance was purely because he wished to protect his trainer. That was a loyalty that he could understand. It reminded him of... her. He would have done anything for her....But that was a story for a different time. "I do not require such extensive thank yous," he stated looking back up at Lance with an earnest amusement. "I am content to know that I was able to help..... but pray tell what exactly you were saying before he spoke up." The Gallade made a directional movement towards Vipin and half smirked amused.

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] A small, croak like growl escaped Vipin’s throat when he was motioned towards. The sound it’s self could have meant anything but in this case it most likely meant something along the lines of, ‘Shut up’. If there was one thing Vipin learned from Lance over the years it was the ability to sulk and pout. They both seemed to be a master at it.
Lance, however, was ignoring Vipin now and had paid no mind to Vipin’s sound. “I would like you to come with me. “I wont take no as an answer.” Not that Lance could do anything more than battle the pokemon anyway. None the less, he wouldn’t give up either. He could simply return hear each and every day, hunting down the pokemon until it finally said yes. The Gllade could be sure that Lance wouldn’t just give up.

A quiet laugh escaped from the Gallade mostly from Lance's answer, yet after that, he drew serious and shook his head slowly. "Forgive me but I shall not be going with you. I have a job here in the Glade, and that is my first and foremost occupation," he stated as he stood a tad taller than he had been before. "If I leave, what will become of another person like yourself who happens to get hurt or attacked? I would not be here." He nodded his head at his own explanation as though sure it would make sense.

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] A flustered look fell upon Lance’s face as he was told no. He hated being told no. Reminded him of his father. Of course the only thing that word ever achieved with Lance was making him want whatever it was he was being told no about, more. In this case, he really wanted to take the Gallade with him now. Yet before he could speak, Vipin spoke up first. To Lance Vipin’s little speech sounded like nothing more than a few hisses and clicks but to the Gallade those hisses and clicks formed words. ‘I guess that’s that then. He’s much too ‘important’ to come along with us.’ Vipin even shrugged his shoulders after saying this, a rather smug expression falling upon his fact. What?! No, he wasn’t jealous. Who told you that?
Lance seemed to not care about Vipin’s reaction though. Instead he shook his head and looked back at the Gallade. “I don’t care if anyone else gets hurt or attacked. I want you to join my team.” With that, Lance folded his arms like a stubborn little two year old. It had caused a sweat drop to fall down Vipin’s head. At the very least Lance was speaking the blunt truth. It was rare for the man actually care about anyone else other than himself. In fact the only one he ever seemed to put before himself was Rosa. He didn’t see her much though, even after moving back to the castle.

The Gallade couldn't help but half smile at Vipin's answer. Yes, he was too important to leave with them. That was that~ However, Lance's comment caused the psychic to sigh and shake his head slowly. "Again, I will not be coming with you, farewell," he stated before turning around and starting to walk away once more. He wouldn't bend to the wants of one when there was the sake of all on the line.

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] What?! The Gallade still refused him? No! Nahhu! He wasn’t going to take no for an answer! “Fine, if you won’t come willingly than I’ll force you to come with me!” He’d simply call out his… ahhh… shit… he still hadn’t picked up his pokeballs! Where had he dropped- Almost on cue, Vipin picked up something and held it out for Lance to take. Sure enough it was his pouch with the pokeballs attached. Snatching it with a small muttered ‘thanks’ he pulled out and pressed the button on one of the pokeballs. He then held it out for the Gallade to see. “This is your last chance to come with me. Unless you think you can defeat all of my pokemon one by one.”

The Gallade sighed a little. He didn't want to fight the man that he had just saved, but what was there to do? He wasn't going to give up his responsibilities willingly, and because of this, he stepped back into a defensive stance and simply waited to see what would follow. "Bring your worst," he smirked in a bit too confident a voice.
