The Zangoose fell back when hit by the Counter, and he stood up, cracking his neck. Since Seth seemed to be ignoring the mind game, he decided to just stick to attacking. Fire began to lick around Zang's right paw, and the Zangoose rushed in for a Fire Punch.

Ty's eyes darted back to the battle; the longer his eyes had remained on Sen, the more memories were brought to mind. Though not all of the memories were actually bad...

At least he was provong to ignore him just as well as he did back at the bar. “Th-” Sen was about to get Seth to use another attack when ge saw Seth go flying back from the fire punch. Adter a moment, the tiny mouse pokemon shook itself and was back into business. “Thunder again!” He called out to it, the Raichu’s body glowing a bright yellow as he let out another surge of electricity. Sen had already forgotten he was going to try and paralyze Ty’s pokemon. His eyes continued to stick to the battle. Maybe this battle would impress Ty? But then… kissing Kel had been… No he needed to focus. [/scrolly] [bg=4f2a66]

Zang dodged the Thunder attack this time before trying to get in close for a Crush Claw. It was apparent that the Zangoose preferred to fight close-up as opposed to long range attacks.

Ty chuckled; though it may not have been obvious to anyone else, the man could tell that Seth was giving Zang a run for his money, and getting under his skin for some reason Ty was unaware of. "Watch the temper, Zang," he warned. "Concentrate on the fight and the fight alone."

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] “Seth, Double Team!” Sen called out after the Zangoose dodged the thunder attack. He knew all too well that the pokemon would be trying to attack after the dodge. The Raichu split itself up, surrounding Zang with many fake duplicates of it’s self. “Ok, Thunder Wave again!” Sen called out, the many Raichu’s aiming the attack at Zang. Sen was finding this battle hard. He had no idea what a Zangoose was weak against mostly because he had no Normal type pokemon of his own yet. [/scrolly] [bg=4f2a66]

The Zangoose found himself hit by the Thunder Wave, paralyzed by its effect. If looks could kill, the glare that Zang shot the Raichu would have dropped Seth where he stood. Suddenly, however, it began to get very cold as an icy wind picked up. Zang had unleashed a Blizzard attack.

Meanwhile Ty could only hope. After all, it was only their first Pokemon each and Ty's die-hard fighter was being taken to the limit. Not that the man doubted Zang, it was just that he doubted himself...

Once again those blue eyes locked on Sen. No...Ty had to win. He had to prove himself worthy.

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] As the Blizzard attack slowly began to pick up, the doubles from Seth’s Double Team slowly began to disappear one by one. Seth himself was trying his best to hold himself in place while Sen was trying to scrap his mind to figure out what he needed to do next. Sadly Sen’s mind on the subject wasn’t working fast enough and Seth found himself tumbling over and rolling a bit from the high winds of the attack. It took Seth a little bit to stand up again making Sen wonder if he was pushing the Raichu too much. He knew he was horrible at judging that sort of thing and often tried his best to return the Pokemon before anything too harsh could happen. So, without thinking any further on it, Sen pushed the button on Seth’s pokeball and returned the Electric pokemon. He had lost the first round. “Heh… you did good buddy.” Sen claimed once the pokemon was returned, a rather odd smile on Sen’s face. He replaced the pokeball to his belt before pulling off another one, releasing Ra… Plum? Ops, he had meant to release his Luxray but it seemed he had grabbed the wrong pokeball. Appearing in front of the Zangoose with a rather cheerful, innocent smile was a small, shiny Deerling. She had a cute little bow tied around her ear and small sparkles on her fur. <Hi!> Was the first thing that came out of her mouth in the up most cheerful and kind way. “Ahh… Plum use Sunny Day?” Sen called out, very unsure of the move. He had never battled or seen Plum fight anyone before and truthfully he had no idea what she could do. Sure enough she nodded with a huge smile and the Sewer sudden began to warm with fake beams of sunlight. Plum: D= Acquaintances? [/scrolly] [bg=4f2a66]

Zang twitched at the Deerling. What the....? That was INSULTING! Even if he was paralyzed and beaten down.

The Zangoose moved in to strike the cute little...thing...with a Crush Claw, only....he couldn't move. The paralysis had prevented him from even moving, so all he could do was stand there.

Ty had been relieved when he won the first round, but this did not look good. And poor Zang was hard enough to deal with when he lost...

"Please don't lose..." Ty whispered to himself.

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] “SolarBeam?” Sen called out, unsure if the tiny deer even had that attack. For one reason or another he knew most grass types did have it, he just wasn’t sure if it was too strong of an attack for her to know yet. Sure enough the tiny grass type opened her mouth with a large smile and out shot a rather power beam of light towards the Zangoose. The Sunny Day had made it so she had no need to charge the attack. Zang collapsed from the impact. Struggle though he may, the fighter had gotten the crap kicked out of him; and a Deerling had delivered the finishing blow. The Zangoose looked kind of pathetic, honestly, sprawled out fainted at the feet of what had to be one of the cutest Pokemon known to man.

Ty blinked, then pulled out a Pokeball, intending to call out Inferno. However, in a flash of light...a baby Houndour appeared, wanting in on the action. "Dooooour~" she announced, still only just making sounds. Ty started to call Spitfire back, but she caught sight of Sen and Plum; and her 'daddy' wasn't around...

In a panic, she shot a flamethrower at the Deerling. "Uhm....good girl." Ty said quickly calling her back without even looking at the results yet. "....Sorry about that. She wasn't supposed to battle. >.>" Then, he called out Inferno, and Ty was joined by a large Typhlosion.

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] Plum’s soft eyes opened widely when the flamethrower attack came her way. Not only had it hurt her pretty bad, it had scarred her enough that after the flames died down she sat herself down and hid her face in her legs. Sen could tell already that it meant she wasn’t going to battle any more. So, with a flash of light, he returned her and took out another pokeball releasing Chi, a Vaporeon. “That counts as one of your five.” Sen claimed with a half grin before turning his attention back to the Vaporeon, “Hydro Pump!” The thin bubble jet pokemon let out a small cry and shot out a stream of rushing water towards Ty’s pokemon. "Fair enough..." Ty sighed, seeing as how Spitfire was the one he claimed wouldn't be battling. "I'm not using her again; she's still young. So that's two down apiece." Okay, so Ty was actually finding himself enjoying this, and almost forgot why they were battling in the first place.

It was then that Inferno was taken down by the Hydro Pump; and he barely got to his feet.

"Earthquake!" The Typhlosion obeyed, and the ground beneath began to shake; the water of the sewer rippling madly as the attack was unleashed. Okay so maybe fighting under the city wasn't such a bright idea.

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] “Only three more to go.p” Sen replied cheerfully before the earthquake attack began to take effect. The Vaporeon planted her feet to the ground, closing her eyes tightly as the earth beneath her began to tremble loudly. “Jump into the water!” Sen called out to the water type, causing her eyes to open as she lept into the air and landed into the water. “Muddy water!” With that she used her tail to scoop up a thick layer or grim and mud for the sewer water, flinging it towards the Typhlosion. Inferno sadly didn't stand a chance. Two powerful super-effective attacks like that were two too many, and the Typhlosion fell. Ty called back the fallen Fire-type. "Adrian, you're up."

Ty threw the Pokeball, sending out his Luxray, who promptly wanted Ty to pet her, and he obliged. "Thunderbolt, Adrian."

The Luxray nodded sweetly, though in the meantime checking out her trainer--and the other one while she was at it, before launching the attack at the Vaporeon.

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] Upon seeing the Luxray being summoned, Sen raised a hand behind his head and grinned. He knew right off the bat that this wasn’t a good sign for Chi. “Chi, out of the-” He was about to tell the Vaporeon to jump out of the water when the electric attack shocked her, causing even more damage as the water itself made the shock that much more powerful. By the time the electricity settled Chi was floating on her back in the water, little twirls signs in her eyes. Sen let out a little chuckle seeing how fast she had fallen to the electric attack and returned her, taking out another poke ball. With the flash of light, one would have almost believed they were seeing double for Sen had released his own Luxray. His own Luxray seemed to be a tad smaller than Ty’s. “Ray, Thunder Fang!” Sen called out, the pokemon nodding and charging towards the other Luxray. With that attack it was starting to become clear that Sen really had very little battling knowledge. Otherwise he would have realized that an electric attack on another electric pokemon wouldn’t be all too powerful. [/scrolly] [bg=4f2a66]

Adrian's eyes sort of twinkled at the other Luxray, and cringed just a bit at the Thunder Fang. <Well, hello Handsome,> she purred, shaking off the effect of the attack.

"Adrian, Fire Fang!"

Adrian rushed in for the attack, but not without adding, <Sorry, cutie. Nothing personal. Maybe later we can get to know each other better...> Her eyes sort of twinkled, despite the fact that she was going to sink her searing-hot fangs into the male.

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] Ray hadn’t been too interested in the other Luxray, his mind focused on the battle at hand, that was, until she spoke. Oh that sweet, gentle voice. How it caused his heart to sing. He cringed a bit when the hot fangs sunk into his skin, his eyes closing for a moment before he opened them and cooed back to her, “You can sink your teeth into my any day.” He winked at her, pulling away from her bit and sitting down. “Why don’t let this feud simmer and you and I can… get to know one another?” He purred, putting on the most seducing expression he could. Sen just stood there, dumbfounded by what he was seeing. “Ahh… Ray?” The electric pokemon didn’t respond, his eyes set on the female in front of him. Yup, it seemed Ray was choosing to ignore him, forfeiting the battle. It caused Sen to pull his last pokeball off his belt, knowing all too well that Ada wouldn’t want to battle. He did not release the pokemon yet though. First he wanted to see what was going to happen with Ty’s Luxray. [/scrolly] [bg=4f2a66]

Ty could only wish he knew what was being said. <Careful, I might just take you up on that.> Adrian winked, eyes smiling as a smirk spread across her face. Then, she sauntered off to the side, hoping the male would follow.

Blazer only shook his head; and Ty still probably thought Adrian was so sweet and innocent...

And he did; from the looks of things, it seemed like the male had led on Adrian, but that was only because Ty couldn't speak Luxray.

Blazer stepped forward, knowing he was next. "Good boy, Blazer. Let's end this."

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] Ray grinned and followed after the female Luxray making Sen sweat drop a bit. At least he wasn’t the only one with pokemon who would rather make a new lover over battle. Tossing the Pokeball in his hand up into the air, a flash of light released a Houndour. The dark type pokemon instantly went into a fighting stance, growling lowly. This was Sen’s strongest and most aggressive pokemon. It was because he trusted no one other than Sen, not human or pokemon. “Ok, Spit, Faint Attack!” Sen called out. The Pokemon took a few steps forward before disappeared before reappearing beside the Arcanine, ready to strike with the never missing attack. [/scrolly] [bg=4f2a66]

The Arcanine was hit by the attack, and growled at the Houndour, ready to fight.

"Blazer, Extreme Speed!" The Arcanine rushed Spit at a blinding speed, hoping to slam into him.

Ty's eyes narrowed; since their Luxray were off...getting acquainted...the fate of the entire battle rested on this one last round. Then again...Ty remembered technically he'd come out okay bet-wise no matter who won! But it'd be sooo much better if he won...

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] Due to his last attack, Spit wasn’t that far away from the Arcanine when it began to use it’s Extreme Speed attack. The fire dog had no time to run or dodge, getting hit by the by the attack and falling to the ground. A few seconds after hitting the ground the dog jumped to his feet and dashed at the Arcanine using a Crunch attack. Sen just stood there with a soft smile on his face as he watched the battle. He knew he wont need to call out too many attacks for Spit unless things starting looking rough. [/scrolly] [bg=4f2a66]
