This was perfect; and a Flareon would compliment his team so well. His hand on her stomach moved to her side, fingers gently massaging her ribs. "You're really sweet for a wild Pokemon, ya know that, girl?" The hand on her ear moved to wave at the Smeargle. "Well, hello there. I see Blazer made a friend too.

The Flareon smiled and relished the petting more but still not speaking her name sound. Ah, oh well. The Smeargle waved and seemed to smile as he nodded his head at the human's words.

The Flareon hesitated a moment before sighing out quietly and shaking her head quietly. Indeed, she could vibrate her throat and purr but she couldn't remember a time when she had ever spoken... Whether this was psychological or actually something wrong... none could be sure. The Smeargle watched this and frowned. The poor dear D: .

"Awww...Poor thing." Kneeling, he wrapped his arms around the Fire type in a gentle hug. "That hasn't stopped you any, has it? You're sweet, but you're still carrying on despite whatever you've gone through. That makes you strong. And...we're not so different." Ty smiled at the Pokemon, not that he really knew if she even understood him.

.x. Not so different? The Flareon could... understand that somehow or another. Just from the way the boy spoke... it was nice, really. Rubbing her head up against his arm, she purred a bit more vibrating her throat a bit. She liked this man... he was nice....

The man snuggled the Flareon gently. "I've got ya. Hey, ya wanna come with me, Sweetheart?" His fingers gently massaged the middle of the Pokemon's back to comfort it.
Blazer looked at the Smeargle. <Ty's good at making Pokemon feel better. ^^>

The Flareon seemed to brighten up and nodded her head. She'd like to come, indeed. The Smeargle put a finger to his chin and nodded. <It's a good trait to have indeed, old boy> he answered still in his British tongue of sorts. Well now ~ this human didn't seem so bad from what he could figure with the Flareon, heh.

The Flareon gently tapped the ball and disappeared inside. The ball rang rather easily.

Personality: This slightly timid but generally loving creature is an odd on. She doesn't speak even in pokemon language. Whether this is physical or psychological is up for debate, yet she uses quite a bit of actions to convey her words instead. She doesn't generally get excited easily but will generally be amused one way or another. The fastest way to make her angry is to directly attack her trainer which she is completely intolerant of.
The Smeargle hesitated a moment but then nodded as well. Yes, he'd come.

Personality: A rather calm British-style speaking pokemon, this Smeargle is prim and proper in almost all ways. He sees himself as a gentleman and would rather help a young woman than anything else. He is quite an artist, like most of his species, he finds making works of art to be high on the list of things he does. He is quite sociable and is almost always willing to hold his own in talks and debates. He rarely gets angry, yet possibly because of this attribute, he is known to hold grudges for long periods of time when someone does push his button too hard.
Far off, what appeared to be a red haired man could be seen leaning up against a rock and watching with little interest until the Smeargle was finally caught. It was only then that he started walking over to Ty. "Hey you," he called. "You ain't from around here are ya?"

The red haired man simply seemed to smirk a little. "Well if you were from around here, you'd knoww anyone around battles," he stated suddenly whipping out a pokeball. "How about a battle?"

Releasing a Darumaka, the red haired man grinned. "Rollout!" was the call, and with that, the small circular fire type curled upwards and spun himself towards the other pokemon rather quickly. The battle was off and heating up pretty fast if one'll excuse the pun.

Blazer took the Rollout attack, staggering under the super-effective hit. Shaking it off, because thankfully Rollout was a pretty weak attack in general--at first.
"Crunch."
The large Arcanine charged the Darumaka, baring his fangs for the aforementioned attack.

The Crunch sealed itself around the small fire type and caused him to scream and flail. The red haired man cringed a little. "Headbutt!" was the call, and with that, the small Darumaka pulled himself free and then made to headbutt the Arcanine in the teeth just for that previous attack.

The Headbutt packed quite the punch from such a little guy, but the Arcanine shook his head, teeth rattled from the attack.
"Extreme Speed!" Blazer moved so fast, he seemed to disappear as he rushed the smaller Fire-type with the intention of slamming his weight into it.

The small fire type was hit by the Extreme Speed and cried out. Damn that hurt! Struggling to get up, the Darumaka stood for a good moment before falling back and fainting. The red haired man sighed and returned the pokemon before releasing a Persian. The large cat seemed to blink a moment before rolling his shoulders. "Night Slash!" was the call, and with that, the Persian leaped forwards with the attack.
