Blazer took the Night Slash, falling back. Working his way to his feet, he growled at the Persian, but knew to wait for Ty's command.
"Fire Blast!" Nodding, The Arcanine aimed a large burst of flame at the Persian.

"DODGE IT!" was the order, and in another moment, the Persian charged forwards before leaning just barely under the fire (enough to shave a bit of hair off the top of his head though the cat would never admit this) before charging and attacking with another Night Slash.

Blazer cringed from the Night Slash, but he wasn't about to give up; especially not to a cat. The large fire-dog shook it off, ready for more.
"Flame Wheel!" The Arcanine charged, his body becoming engulfed in flames as he tried to ram his now-flaming body into the Persian.

The Flame Wheel, with far more accuracy than the previous attack, hit its marker and caused the Persian to cry out as the cat cringed from the fire move. Shaking his head a bit, the large cat looked defiantly at the dog pokemon more or less saying 'gonna have to do better than that' without actually speaking it. "Rain Dance!" was the sudden call from the red haired man. The cat looked confused for a moment but then summoned up a gush of water that fell downwards easily.

....Crap. As rain began to pour down upon them, Ty knew he was at more than a bit of a disadvantage now, what with his love of fire-types and all. But no matter. Ty knew to use more than Fire-type attacks, after all; that's what made up for his almost-exclusive team.
"No problem. Blazer, Take Down!" Nodding, the Arcanine began to charge the Persian, intending to...well, take him down.

The Take Down hit the large cat, and he staggered backwards a moment cringing. The man kept his cool though. "Thunder!" he called knowing that the accuracy of the move would go up now that it was raining. It seemed to be a rather strategical move on his part. With that, the cat charged himself with energy and released the move.

Ty cursed under his breath as Blazer was downed by the Thunder. Standing to his feet, the Arcanine fell back down, not moving. Ty sighed.
"Good job, Blazer." Then, he returned the Arcanine. "Adrian, let's go!" The Luxray popped out, looking at Ty and smiling.
"Show 'em a real Thunder."
Adrian obeyed, launching the attack. Looks like Ty could think strategically too. Sometimes.

...Fuck. The Thunder struck the Persian and fainted him in another hit. The red haired man swore before returning the cat pokemon and releasing a third... and his last. A Rapidash appeared and stomped her feet defiantly for a moment before looking back at her trainer rather sharply. "Sunny Day!" was the call, and with that, the rain was pushed away for a bright amount of light.

Well, this was a change of pace. But Ty could work with this. Hey, if Adrian couldn't do it, Ty had plenty of backup-plans.

The Thunder Fang bit down on the Rapidash and caused her to cry out in pain for a moment before she shook her head not going to back down. "Solarbeam!" was the call, and in another moment, the large fire type released the powerful attack quickly due to the sun's rays.

Adrian was caught in the line of fire, and the Solarbeam didn't just take her down; it was a critical hit. The Luxray, despite her best efforts, had no choice but to stay down.
Ty recalled the Luxray, trying to think of who should top this off. "Inferno! Earthquake!" Ty released the Typhlosion from his Pokeball, and the large Fire-Type obeyed. The ground began to quake massively, as a result of the attack.

The ground shook mercilessly and caused the large fire horse to cry out in pain. However, somehow she had managed to hold on. Again, her eye shifted back towards her trainer looking irritated. The man grumbled something to himself and then shouted Double Kick. With that, the Rapidash charged forwards with the attacking move.

Inferno was hit once, twice, by the Double Kick, and he growled in pain. Shaking himself off, he glared at the other trainer and his Rapidash.
"Double Edge," Ty commanded. The Typhlosion charged full-force at the Fire Horse in a reckless attack.

The Double Edge hit the Rapidash and caused her then to fall back and faint. The ed haired man cringed a little but returned his fire horse and breathed outwards before managing to offer a smile. "Not bad," he smirked a bit. "You're pretty tough."

The man nodded his head. "Ah, it's a pretty good place... steamy as heck though," the man joked easily. Not far off, the sound of sliding rocks could be heard as it seemed whatever had been hiding had backed away. "Hey whose there?" Rev called out, yet there was no reply.

Suddenly something from behind the rocks sighed, and what appeared as a light blond haired girl stood up. Her features were extremely thin, yet her body frame and short height seemed to suit this well enough. Rev's face twitched a little before he shook his head. "Lex I swear ya nearly gave me a heart attack," Rev stated aloud. The girl just grinned ear to ear before suddenly vaulting over the rock she was hiding behind and standing fully.
"Sorry~" she giggled to herself before looking at Ty and turning her head to one side. "Oh hi there cutie~" she grinned. Rev just sighed a bit to himself. "Oh right, my name's Alexis, but most call me Lexie or Lex," she grinned towards Ty. "And you know what everyone does down here~? Rev already showed you." Suddenly Lex's eyes narrowed a bit. "How about a battle?" Well it seemed like everyone was in the challenging spirit now weren't they?
