Nobles must pay! (Kero/Jay)

He then returned his gaze back to Luca and smiled, “Ok, well you tell us everything you can and then I’ll send a letter to Alfred to send you food.” Kero agreed with a smile and nod. When Luca mentioned a picture of this guy named Kayvan, Kero’s eyes almost flickered with excitement. He had hit the jackpot with this boy. Finally some more progress was being made. “Could I have it?” He asked. [/scrolly] [bg=brown]

Again, he was growing a bit bored, but for now, he'd sit still.... well... maybe for a little bit more. A part of him shifted, and he found himself standing up fully and stretching his form out. He really couldn't sit still now could he? Oh well. [/scrolly]

Luca seemed to hesitate for a second before getting into his old backpack to find the picture. It wasn't the best one of all, but it would still count, right? He really needed food, and it was just a picture and some information. He hadn't actually stood up against the nobles yet, so he couldn't be arrested. He found the picture and held it out. "His name is Kayvan Roche, and he's a photographer. He's been watching us younger rebels. He travels.. so I don't know where he'd be, but I saw him in the East last..." Luca says rather slowly. He started to feel really bad now, but he had already given the picture over.

He nodded slowly as he listened to Luca’s words and looked down at the picture. The guy certainly didn’t look mean like Kero always seemed to picture most of the rebels in his mind. For some reason he always he thought of big, bulky men with scars all over. He knew that was unreasonable and stereotyping but he couldn’t help it. If he could a wanted poster up for this man than perhaps he would be even more useful for gathering information. He would need to get a letter out to Alfred right away, but first, “Is there anything else you can tell me?” Kero asked, finally looking back up at Luca. [/scrolly] [bg=brown]

Turning his head to one side, Alvaro seemed to stare at it. Rather distinct hair and eyes at least... well... kind of, heh... he thought to himself before suddenly grinning. "I'd like to meet him," he announced to the two around him rather easily. [/scrolly]

Luca seemed to think as Kero spoke. Uh... hmm... His thoughts were interrupted by Alvaro's random comment. Okay... Luca then looked back at Kero. "Uh... I don't know.. like what? He travels... he could be anywhere. He was heading towards a town in the East though.... I don't r'member why..." Luca says rather questionably to himself. He was having trouble remembering facts about this man. "OH He was going to dye his hair green at Evergreen City!" Luca suddenly exclaims. ^_^ He could already smell the food. Wait... how was Alfred.. this butler, supposed to get the food to him? He didn't live anywhere.... He suddenly regretted everything he said to Kero.

Leave it to Alvaro to want to meet a guy who wished to destroy the monarchy. Well, at least that’s how Kero viewed all of the rebels. “Maybe I could…” Luca’s words on where the man was had Kero’s mind racing. He could have someone sent out there to perhaps capture and question this rebel or… “Alvaro, where Is Evergreen from here?” He asked suddenly, looking back up at Alvaro. Kero was certain that even if this man wasn’t bad, he could still get some more useful information out of him. That’s what Kero really wanted. Info. Info on why the rebels were still active and what they hoped to achieve. Perhaps even a way to resolve the fighting. That could take years but often everything started due to a misunderstanding, right? [/scrolly] [bg=brown]

Luca listened to them and seemed to freeze. They.. were going to take him away! T_T He didn't know what to do, and he found himself simply frozen in place, unable to do a thing. >.< Now he could only hope he was getting the food he wanted. If he didn't, he was pretty sure he got ripped off. "If.. you're going to take him in.. or even just talk to him... He isn't bad! All he did was watch the younger rebels that can't go out yet!" Luca calls out rather quickly, his voice shaking as he spoke. How could he do this to a man who had watched him for a while...

If the boy was telling the truth, which Kero had no reason not to trust him now, then… “Hey, hey, it’s ok,” Kero reached out his hands to set them on Luca’s shoulders, much like his father use to do to calm him when he was upset. “You’re a rebel, you’ve probably committed some crimes I don’t know about, but I’m not locking you up, am I? If he is a good person like you say he is than everything will be ok. I’ll ask him some questions and send him on his way.” Of course, there was no way of telling if the man had ever done anything wrong without Luca knowing but Kero was willing to give the benefit of the doubt. He was quickly learning that the people he use to see as evil, and bad guys… well it really wasn’t true. Nothing in the world, from what he knew, was evil. Everyone seemed to have reason’s for doing something wrong. Most of them were pretty good reasons at that. This adventure with Alvaro… it was probably the best thing he had ever decided to do. He was learning more now than he had ever learned with his books alone. [/scrolly] [bg=brown]

It was far form his general sometimes forced smile but something a bit more genuine. Sure the kid had probably done wrong, but heck that was in the past anyways wasn't it~? Indeed, heh. Things would be fine."It'll all be good," he chimed in feeling compelled to give his two cents into the equation for whatever reason. [/scrolly]

Luca seemed to calm down as he listened. "O-okay.. He didn't do anything... so I guess he'll be fine..... I did wrong, but won't now. I won't starve now... t-thank you...." Luca says rather slowly, trying to stop from crying. He wanted that food so badly right now... Just having it would make him so happy. It seemed like the others would be leaving soon, so he'd probably run off soon enough.

Taking a step back he bent down and swung his pack off of his back. Opening it, he pulled out a pad of paper and pen. Quickly he jotted something down on the paper before pulled the piece off the pad, folding it and standing up again. “Now to prove even a noble can keep his promise.” With a smile, he reached down and pulled a pokeball off of his belt. Tossing it up in the air, a red flash of light released a white and gray bird pokemon. The Staraptor stood up rather tall and proud as he awaited Kero’s instructions. “Jet, remember this boys face and then take this note to Alfred.” Kero commanded, holding the note out for the bird to take. The Staraptor hesitated for moment before reaching out a clawed foot to take the note from Kero. When the note was out of Kero’s hand, he turned his pale brown eyes back to Luca, “Once a week I’ll send Jet out to get food from Alfred. He’ll deliver it to you.” Kero explained as he picked up his pen and paper and held them over for Luca to take, “If you ever want something special made just write it on here and the next week I’ll have Alfred send it as well. Ok?” Though there were some things Alfred wouldn’t have cooked such as pizza and lazania. [/scrolly] [bg=brown]

Luca seemed to smile rather happily. "Uh... but how will it find me... Do I always have to come to a certain spot?" Luca asks rather quietly. He was pretty happy now, and his fears seemed to melt away just a bit. He was finally getting food, and all it took was a picture and a name! He was pretty sure that Kayvan would be fine. They would probably do the same thing that happened to him to Kayvan.

He supposed many people wouldn’t be use to the amazing senses of a bird pokemon. Their were reasons they were the ones who often sent messages to people back in the day. In fact, Kero wasn’t sure why they didn’t as often still. “As long as you don’t go teleporting to different regions he should be able to find you. If the whether is bad he might be late though.” Kero decided the last bit would be a good thing to add just encase. Kero’s eyes then swooped over to Alvaro and he gave the green haired man a rather large grin before turning back to Luca, “Alvaro and I should head out now though. You’ll be alright?” He announced, making sure Alvaro and himself weren’t leaving the poor boy if he still needed assistance. [/scrolly] [bg=brown]

Luca looked at the others and nodded. "Thank you... so much." Luca suddenly found himself saying rather softly. He was still worrying about Kayvan, but he couldn't believe that he was getting food every week now. He was looking at the paper that he was given and started to think of what he wanted... but he really didn't know. He'd just wait to see what he'd get.. if they gave it to him.
