JADE WEST
It was the dead of night when something could be heard moving through the jungle. Many people would only think it was a pokemon, but it was making to much noise to be a pokemon. Anyways most would be sleeping, and it was doubtful that they would make so much noise that clearly had a high chance of waking some other pokemon up. As the being pushed her way out into a small open spot the shadow of a teen girl stood light up by the full moon that was out tonight. Branches stuck to her, and she pulled them off with a grumble. Jade cursed herself for getting stuck in this forest in the middle of the night, why was she even out here to start with? Oh that's right she had heard about the haunted woods and was on her way there. She knew many people didn't like that place, but to her it sounded like the right place for her. With that creepy feeling, and the black shadows that covered the ground there. Yes just perfect for her, and her black pelted pokemon that had been following her. Turning to see her fox like pokemon with its glowing blue eyes she let out a heavy sigh. "Of all my luck, we get stuck here." Jade threw up her arms showing the Ninetails just how frustrated she was.

[Carnivine - M] ~ [Snivy - F] ~ [Mankey - Many ] ~ [Parasect - M] Up high in the tree’s a handful of Mankey could be seen swinging about and playing. Most of them hadn’t taken any notice to the human down below save for one. She wasn’t glaring but she was watching just in case. A little ways away from the tree the Mankey sat in another green forest pokemon. She was rather thin compared to most Snivy which made her look much like a vine or something laying on the tree. She didn’t appear to be moving much. At the base of another near by tree a rather large Parasect was slowly trying to burry himself slightly in the thick earth. Why in the world he was trying to do that was anyone’s guess. But the Carnivine beside him seemed to think it was quite funny to ruin his plans. Every time he would begin to dig the Pokemon would smack the poor pokemon with a Vine Whip. Each and every time it caused the Parasect to flinch, before walking away to another spot and trying all over again. Why in the world the Parasect just didn’t smack the Carnivine back was also anyone’s guess.

The pitch black Ninetales besides Jade was keeping an eye open for any pokemon that might cause a problem to Jade. When she heard movement up in the trees she looked up for a few seconds, before she looked at the base of a near by tree. She could hear the sound of some pokemon, and could make out a group of them. Some Carnivine were using their vine whip on a Parasect who seemed to be just taking it. Without much warning a bright hot flamethrower shot out from Donatra at the Carnivines. Her sudden attack caused Jade to glance at her, but the young teen trusted Donatra's judgment and didn't try to stop her. In the darkness though Jade was finding it hard to see Donatra since she was as black as the night sky.

[Carnivine - M] ~ [Snivy - F] ~ [Mankey - Many ] ~ [Parasect - M] ~ [Set of Eyes] An instant yelp echoed through the forest trees the moment the flamethrower was released. Not only had the flames done their task in frightening the Carivine, but had gotten the attention of a few other pokemon as well. The Carivine had hidden its self behind one of the near by tree’s after letting out the yelp. The Parasect who had just been shy of the attack, had raised it’s arms in fear before bringing them back down and covering up his head with them. Up high in the trees, some of the Mankey’s stopped to see what was happening but soon went back to playing. Even the Snivy, who had been still up until that moment had moved it’s thin head to look down at the scene. Yet there was one more creature who seemed to have been woken up by the yelp as well. It’s body was well hidden within some thick brush, but it’s eyes could be seen blinking a tad as it turned it’s attention to the other pokemon. “ Caaarr Carivi” the grass type complained, waving it’s arm at the Ninetails before sinking back behind the tree. It seemed he was brave enough to try and yell at the fire type, but not brave enough to battler her.

Donatra smirked a bit when the grass pokemon hide from her flamethrower, glad that she had proven a point. After scaring the grass type away from the Parasect, but heard the Carnivine yell at her. She snorted before her fur started to bristle madly. She had caught sight of those eyes watching them from deeper in the bushes, 'Nine!' Letting out a low growl of uneasy as she glared at it, daring it to show its face to her.
Jade had caught wind of her Ninetales uneasy and bent down to place a hand on her head. "Its alright girl, it may be friendly." Jade herself wasn't sure if it was or not, but there was no reason to act aggressive without even seeing what it was. "Hello there." Calling out into the darkness was risky, after all it could attract something that was more aggressive then the pokemon they had already seen.

[Serperior - M] ~ [Carnivine - M] ~ [Snivy - F] ~ [Parasect - M] The pokemon in the bushes blinked again, it’s red eyes glinting through the brush as it was growled at. When the human spoke, the pokemon slowly rose, the eyes raising higher and higher in the darkness until the pokemon was towering over the two. It seemed it had been laying down before. With a few slithering like sounds, yet no cracking of branches, the green form came into the light, as the red eyes looked down at the two. “ Sperrr” He cooed calmly, as if saying hello. It seemed the Serperior indeed had no intentions of hurting either of them. He had simply been woken up after the other grass type had been frightened.

Jade watched as glowing red eyes watched them, and soon the rose up and hit higher so she had to look up to see them. Next to her, her black Ninetales was still tense util the pokemon spoke. After hearing no treat or seeing no signs of a threat the Ninetales relaxed and let her fur lay flat as Jade kept her hand on her head. 'Nine, ninetales, ni.' Donatra tilted her head a bit, well this was a pokemon she had never seen before. Thats why she asked it was species it was, because she had never seen anything like it before. Though she gave a nod of her head as if to say hello back to the massive grass type as well. Next to her Jade stayed still before speaking, "Hi," Guessing that it would be best to introduce herself and her pokemon first, "The name's Jade, and this is Donatra."

[Serperior - M] ~ [Carnivine - M] ~ [Snivy - F] ~ [Parasect - M] The Serperior turned his head to the side a bit as the human spoke, giving her and the Ninetails names. It was rather intriguing as to way the humans gave themselves and others names. He could see the reason for it she supposed. Perhaps he could give himself a name as well someday. “ Serrr, Serperipor.” the pokemon replied, meaning, it’s nice to meet you. However, just as he finished speaking, a loud ‘BANG’ a bit deeper in the forest could be heard. It caused many of the bird pokemon to take flight, while the Mankey’s in the trees also swung off. Something was wrong and the look on the Serperiror’s face read quick clearly that he too was concerned.

Jade kept a small smile on her face as she looked at the large grass type as he spoke. She was about to say something when she heard a loud bang, and saw the look of worry cross the grass types face. The sound had make her own pokemon jump a bit, and she wondered what might have made such a large noise, and scared all those pokemon. Turning towards the Serperior, "Do you want to go find out what that was?"

[Serperior - M] ~ [Rhyperior - M] The Serperior turned his attention back to the human when she asked if he wanted to go and check it out. With a silent nod, the Pokemon turned again, slithering off into the brush and heading towards the sound. Many more smaller banging sounds could be heard but none as loud as the first. Finally when the Serperior came into view of what was making the racket, a rather socked looked crossed his face. There in a small clearing was a rather angry looking Rhyperior swinging it’s arms around widely. It was hitting trees and rock and anything else that seemed to be in it’s path. In the center of the clearing a rather large rock had been broken in half. Most likely that was what had made the large bang form before. What surprised the Serperior was that fact that the Rhyperior wasn’t normally a pokemon seen in the area . He had never met a Rhyperior before, yet… “ Serrrrr!” The grass type called out in slight panic, “ Serper errr Serrr” He was trying to get the pokemon to stop ruining the forest but… it didn’t seem to be listening at all as it just continued to flail about in a blind rage.

Following the Serperior she had to run in order to keep up, with her Ninetales at her heels. She came to a sliding stop when she saw what had made the noise and was tearing apart trees and anything else it could get a hold of. Wow that so wasn't good, and it seemed to freak the Serperior out as well. She knew odds were not in her favor, but if she could play her cards right it might work out. Half of her plan was also counting on help from the Serperior otherwise she wasn't sure this could work. "Donatra, sunny day." The Ninetales gave her a nod as a sudden sunlight overtook the area. "Now get its attention with heat wave." The black Ninetales gave a nod as she unleashed the fire attack, that would be boosted because of the sunny day and making sure not to hit the Serperior as well. Though fire attacks weren't strong on a Rhyperior, she was trying to just get its attention more. Even though attacking in general just might piss it off more, if they fired right away with a painful grass attack instead of the fire attack it might make all the difference. Then again this pokemon could just be pissed off and doing this for no reason. "We've got to get him to stop." The comment was directed towards the large grass pokemon as she watched her Ninetales wait for the pokemon's reaction.

[Serperior - M] ~ [Rhyperior - M] The Ryhperior hadn’t noticed the sun growing hotter due to the Sunny Day but his attention was taken a hold of when the Ninetales attacked him with the heat wave. It caused him to cringe for a moment before turning towards the three beings, rage in his eyes. He let out a rather loud growl, but was cut short when the Serperior took actions. Using her long thin body, she wrapped herself around him, holding down his arms and legs. He instantly began to struggle, causing him to wobbly this way and that until finally he fell to the ground with a rather loud crash. When all seemed still, the Serperior unwrapped himself from the Rhyperior and returned to Jade’s side. Very slowly the Ryhperior stood himself up, looking almost… Saddened. At least he was attacking things anymore.

Donatra relaxed when the attack caught the rock pokemon's attention and the Serperior jumped on him. She listened in case her trainer ordered her to attack again, but when the Rhyperior settled down she relaxed even more. She looked over at Jade as the Rhyperior looked a little sad, and she tilted her head wondering why that was.
Jade had been having the same thoughts as Donatra. Why did this pokemon attack like that, she really had to know. "Is something wrong Rhyperior?" Though some of the trees were damaged badly, it was nothing that couldn't heal in time. The forest was strong, and would grow back.

As the Serperior slithered back to Jade's side, the Rhyperior's face only sagged more in seeming sadness, the large Poke'mon sniffing slightly before breaking into a fit of bubbly hiccups and tears. "Rhyyyy... Rhyperrrr..." He whined in between sobs, making gestures towards the forest he had destroyed. He... hadn't meant to, he explained. He was just so upset, and needed to vent. He pointed a stubby finger at Donatra, then to Jade, before gesturing to himself sadly. It appears he too had a trainer... or at least he used to...
The Serperior hummed gently, shaking her head sadly, before craning her neck around to Donatra. "Serr, Serperior Ser..." What a sad sight this was. The Grass-type never had a trainer herself, but did have friends of her own that got captured and taken away. Losing any type of friend was troublesome... she supposed the same could be said about trainers.

Donatra froze when the large pokemon started to cry and turned to Jade who looked surprised. Donatra had expected a fight, but that was the last thing that was going to happen now. The black furred fox gave herself a shake before taking a few steps towards the rock pokemon. "Nine, nine, tales." Stating that it was alright and that mistakes happen. She knew that everyone messed up from time to time and there was for this pokemon to beat himself up over it. She picked up right away that this Rhyperior had a trainer before, and must have cared deeply for them. "You can always get another trainer." The Ninetales herself had once been wild but Jade had found her and saved her from living a crappy life on the streets. She flicked her head back to Jade looking at the large grass pokemon before turning her blue eyes back to the rock pokemon.
Jade watched as Donatra spoke not understanding the first part of what she said. However when she flicked her gaze back to her and then the pokemon she could guess what she had said. "Its not easy to go from being someone to being alone. I've lost two good friends, so I understand the feeling of being alone." She shrugged her shoulders as the grass pokemon came back to her side and she let out a sigh. Life was hard but Jade had learned to fight through it.

The Rhyperior listened as Donatra and Jade spoke, his sniffling slowing ever so slightly. They... were very nice! "Rhyyyy~" He crooned gently, taking two large steps towards Donatra, before slumping forward in an awkward bow for such a large size. He was thankful for their understanding, that was for certain. Yet... he turned, grumbling somewhat under his breath as he surveyed the damage he caused. He... he would fix it! "Rhyp! Rhyperiorrrr!" He cried out in sudden enthusiasm, stating how he'd use this this opportunity to make the forest a better place. Especially if it was his new home! With a nod, he started to work, picking up any loose branches.
The Serperior smiled gently, looking down to Jade curiously. "Serrr..." She had lost people too? It seemed everyone did in this place... she wasn't naive as to the war... with a shake of her head, the Serperior leaned forward and nuzzled against Jade's cheek, comforting her and thanking her for stopping the destruction to the forest!

She listened as the Rhyperior said that he would fix the forest. He grinned a bit and jumped up a bit. Well if he was going to fix it then he would need some help with that. She could see where the trees had fallen and knew there was no way they could fix those. But the stumps were a different story walking up to one she used her flamethrower attack on it. Making sure she was careful to avoid hitting anything other than the trunk of the tree. If she burned the already dead tree the minerals from it would sink into the soil and help make it more healthy and trees would grow up quicker then before. She gave a nod to the large pokemon as if saying that she knew what she was doing.
To say she was shocked by the sudden action of the Serperior would be an understatement. She was in a way blown away by the sudden affection. She was normally only used to that with her own pokemon, never people though. To her showing such a statement of kindness wasn't something she fully understood in her life. She had lived by knowing that she had to fight for everything she wanted. Reaching out to touch the Serperior she found the the texture was different then what she thought. More soft then anything she wasn't sure in her mind what she expected to feel. "Thank you." The action made her wonder if this pokemon had lost others as well. "So have you lost anyone?"

At first, the Rhyperior was startled when the fire caught his eye, and turned to give Donatra a wary look before noticing her nod. Blinking, he simply nodded his head as well, understanding the notion; she would be careful. She knew what she was doing. Things would soon be okay.
The Serperior hummed gently, considering Jade's question before nodding slowly, crooning her reply. Yes, she had... although, like the girl, she had learned to adapt with her losses. She was a level-headed Grass-type, all things considered. She flicked her tail towards the trashed forest that the other two were attempting to clean. "Servine Serrrr Vine." She stated, saying how she had lost this part of the forest. But it was okay. It would grow again.
Suddenly, a small yelp escaped one of the uprooted tree trunks that dotted the landscape. It was set ablaze by Donatra's flamethrower, but it sounded like something was inside! The Rhyperior blinked and lifted the trunk, tipping it... only to have an Albino Growlithe tumble out. The small pup yelped again, looking around nervously before cowering in fear under the large Poke'mon. It looked smaller than most...

Donatra flicked one of her ears when she heard a small yelp and noticed that something that messed with one of her flamethrowers. Puzzled by this she walked over to where the Rhyperior had lifted one of the fallen trees only to have an all white Growlithe tumble out. she flicked all of her nine tales are once there was very interesting to her. Another dog pokemon that was colored oddly all white instead of all black. It made her wonder if dog pokemon were the only ones to come in these colors. Though granted she was more of a fox pokemon than anything she counted herself as a dog type. "Hey there!" Her voice was a bit soft as she saw the small fire dog cringe a bit.
Jade on the other hand had her attention on the Serperior right now. She blinked as the grass type seemed to say that she had, something that the two had on common. It then pointed to the forest as her pokemon and the Rhyperior worked together to fix it. The Serperior was right the forest would grow back in time and be healthy once again. "It may seem a little odd, but I can see us being good friends." What she meant by a little odd was, most of the time friendship took some time, but she felt connected to this pokemon right away.

((So I just realized the Serperior started out as a male, but then turned female in one of Kero's posts. Lets continue under the assumption that she is, indeed, female. xD Okay?))
The tiny Growlithe blinked as Donatra called out to her, raising up her head slightly from her cowered position. The call seemed friendly enough but... she then fixed the Rhyperior with a worried look, the large Poke'mon noticing and taking a few steps backwards, attempting to calm the little one down. <I'm not gunna hurtcha.> He rumbled quietly, the small Growlithe perking up once more; they seemed friendly enough! <H... hello...> She whispered, pawing the ground nervously.
Meanwhile, the Serperior craned her neck, looking down at Jade with an inquisitive look. At her words, a subtle smirk crossed the serpent's maw, her eyes softening gently. It was... interesting; she hadn't met a human quite like this girl. Most others would just come charging, flailing Poke'balls left and right and challenge her to a battle. It was exhausting. Yet... she was at ease here, perfectly comfortable. It was nice. She purred, acknowledging this fact and leaning down to nuzzle Jade once more; she would love to be friends.
