The Houndour looked towards Flare as he spoke and seemed to make a quiet 'hm' sound as he tried to remember. <I... don't know... I think... since forever> he answered nodding his head. Yes that was right .3. He'd been hatched there, after all, and Mom used to live here.... before she disappeared ;3; Suddenly whimpering slightly, he shook his head trying to make himself not as startled/ sad.

If you'd want."> He rumbled, focusing more towards when he was intent on heading back to Jaxa, and not just when he left the cave.[/scrolly] |

O-oh? R-really? The Houndour's eyes twitched a little surprised by the proposition. He...he could come with? Hey! Then he really could play all the time! The shiny's tail wagged slightly, and he nodded his head. <That would be awesome!> he barked excitedly jumping up and down even as he somehow walked. <Then we could play all day and and yeah!> Why hadn't he thought of that before~?

o3o Dawww :U So what if he was a pup! He could stay up all night without having to sleep! He was sure of it! Er.... He thought so anyways .3.' hm... Maybe he should rethi- NAH.... =3 He was sure that he could stay up! >83 just watch! At the thought of the birds, the Houndour snorted and chuckled to himself. Well that was true... And o3o Oh yay~ That would be good! ^3^ Then they could all be frie--- BAM @_@;;; The Houndour had been so lost in his thoughts that he hadn't even realized he'd walked into a wall at the slight turn in the tunnel. Laughing a little and sweat dropping, the fire pup shook his head.

And while he was walking forward, unlike the pup, he went into the curve, turning his head to the younger canine and blinking a bit. <"You okay, pup?"> The male rumbled, moving close and licking at younger canine's head, as if to kiss the bump. Upon being licked, the Houndour nodded his head and muzzle just a bit. <Yeah... just need to walk where I'm going--- I mean watch! Watch where I'm going...> he said nodding his head a bit more and slowly shaking off that odd feeling that had come into him. After a moment, he breathed in, wagged his tail, and seemed alright. Eh~ Puppies bounce right? Something like that.

The Houndour yipped a little and wagged his tail before wagging his whole body in turn. <But... but I have so much to think about!> he said as though this were some excuse which, in fact, it was the best one he could come up with on the spot. <And it feels like we should have just kept going forwards but then bam and yeah> he nodded his head rather quickly as though done with his explanation for now. As they continued onwards, the fresh smell of rain could be smelled somewhere far off, yet the scent was growing as they continued to walk in the direction both were headed. The Houndour's nose twitched a little, and he found himself noting something familiar but unable to place exactly what it was.

Oooh... The paw between the Houndour's ears caused both to settle downwards a little though he grinned a puppy grin in the process. It felt really nice for whatever reason and made his pelt tingle a bit. At Flare's words, the Houndour breathed out a little and yipped playfully. <Ok!> he answered back without much of a second thought on the issue. Upon watching Flare's motions again, the Houndour quickly waggled his tail and climbed up onto Flare again, resting his paws between the larger dog's ears and grinning that puppy grin once more. It was still so cool being so tall! Though he may never be as tall as Flare was, the Houndour couldn't help but like the view. As they started to walk again, the smells of water and rain got more potent, and as they went on, the Houndour began to recognize what it was. <Water!> was the exclamation that wasn't exactly intended. However, after a moment the puppy more or less tried to laugh it off and re-positioned his front paws.

As the finally came to the surface again, the Houndour's eyes grew at the sight of the light, yet his pupils shrank suddenly after that, and he quickly shut his eyes before shaking his head. Owie that had hurt....kinda... <Oi bright light...> he laughed a little, and thankfully it hadn't been as bad as it could have. The sky was still overcast even with the rain having stopped for the most part. Waggling his tail, the Houndour climbed all the way up onto Flare's head before looking around once and hopping off sideways. Landing on all fours rather well, he turned around and wagged his tail happily.

The small pup nodded his head at Flare's words and wagged his stub of a tail again before looking out towards the Fire Pits again. Save for a few places that appeared to be dipping and therefore held some water still, it was all but dry again. Ah, thus was the simple dry-ness of the area it seemed. <So where to now?> the pup asked looking at Flare with an expecting gaze. Maybe they would go see Flare's trainer or... maybe they could play some more or... something!

The confused expression that came to the puppy's face was met then with a light laughing expression as he shook his head and wagged his tail shortly after. <Ok! That way!> he said pointing a paw before quickly bounding off towards the lava area with a reckless abandonment for all things that could be dangerous. Not too far off, a Cyndaquil could be seen observing one of the somewhat wet rocks that remained from the rain. He didn't notice the dogs, it seemed, but was too focused on whatever he was looking at.
