At the woman's words, Rosa looked up and a quiet giggle escaped her. "Just like Ion!" she beamed thinking then of her Lucario. He was almost always with her unless he was meditating somewhere in the gardens... But even then he wasn't gone fore more than an hour or so! "He's my Lucario," she explained with an innocent smile. Placing the pot in the sink and filling it with water so the milk wouldn't stick, Miguel set about locating the marshmallows, thinking it would be a nice surprise for the young girl. Hearing Zander speak, Evania looked at him and nodded. She didn't have any idea either ... but at the same time, it was nice to have someone to share this place with. Walking over to Zander, Evania lay her head against his shoulder, content just to stay there ... at least for the moment.[/scrolly]

"You have a Lucario? That's sweet," she replied, relaxing considerably, though still mildly unnerved by the fact that she was still homeless. But this was slowly pushing that harsh truth to the back of her mind, for now. Zander blinked as Evania rested her head on his shoulder. He blushed slightly, what could only pass for a grin coming to his face. It felt nice....almost like when he used to snuggle Jade when he was a Charmander. Or like now when she snuggled him. Only this was...different. He loved Jade, yes, but as his trainer; his friend. This new feeling was....stronger. The Charizard leaned his head against the Dragonite's. <This is nice...> he murmured. "Yep! His name is Ion! He--" she stopped petting both for a moment before fishing out a pokeball from her pocket. She always had Ion with her, always. After a second, she released the Lucario who looked towards Jade for a moment staring at her with calm eyes before nodding his head in a sort of greeting. Rosa didn't seem distressed, and this woman didn't look like a threat at least at the moment. 'Hello' he greeted in his normal somber tone. "Is my best pokemon friend! Kitty is my bestest best human friend!" Rosa explained. [/scrolly]

Seeing Rosa talking to Jade about her Lucario brought a smile to Miguel's face, pleased that tensions had calmed much as he hoped they would when he had left them a short time ago. "Anybody up for some hot chocolate?"Miguel asked a short time after he had stepped into the room, setting the tray on the center table as he did so so that they could take the hot cocoa at their leisure,"I made yours special Rosa. I do hope you enjoy it." This said, Miguel took his mug and sat down on the couch near Jade so that he stayed out of the way of the 'puppies' and Rosa should she still want to pet them. "What do you think of Jade's puppies Rosa?" Evania didn't move from her position, content as she was to simply remain there but hummed softly in reply. She was quite enjoying herself at the moment and saw no need to speak ... at least for right now.[/scrolly]

Not that Maxine and Lacy were the kind to drool over a male, anyway... "Very nice," the woman commented. "Hello," she replied with a nod. "Hot chocolate still sounds lovely," she said when Miguel came back in, smiling. Zander just held Evania close. He didn't know what to say, or what to do. He just knew this felt very nice. And he didn't want it to end... [/scrolly]

Though she had been about to say something to Jade, Miguel came in the room once more, and a head turned as green eyes focused on Miguel. Looking at the tray, she recognized her mug almost instantly and stood up fully before heading over and picking it up. Though she did in fact hear Miguel's question, Rosa took a sip before looking back. "They're cool!" she nodded easily. Ion's ears perked as he sensed Miguel coming, and upon seeing the man, the Lucario relaxed a bit more. Ah, at least someone else was with Rosa. Good. Looking back towards Jade, Ion gave another nod before walking over and sitting next to where Rosa now stood simply waiting to see if the girl wished anything of him before he did any more. Thus situated, Miguel sipped his own hot chocolate before hearing Rosa's response about the 'puppies' and smiled,"Sadly I don't have any 'puppies' of my own but rather two kittens as you call them that have seemed to become rather attached to me," he explained before taking another sip of his hot chocolate. As if on cue, the two cat Pokemon, Ellis the Skitty and Sable the Glameow darted into the room, Sable close on Ellis' tail. "Sable,"Miguel said in a sharp, commanding tone thus effectively stopping Sable in her tracks while Ellis jumped on Miguel's lap and away from the psychotic Glameow. Sable leered at Ellis who now sat comfortably on Miguel's lap until she noticed all three dogs in the room and turned to glare at them instead with a look that dared them to even try to attack her. Of course one more sharp word from Miguel made the Glameow relax, trotting over to where Miguel was sitting and lying next to his feet, though she still watched Maxine and Lacy like a hawk eyeing its prey. ~~~ Evania sighed slightly as she continued to lean against Zander before an idea came to her. Looking up at Zander, she smiled, <"Want to fly together?">[/scrolly]

"I've got a handful of Pokemon you might like, Rosa. I have a kitten of my own." Smiling, she released Spark, and the little Shinx looked around at the people and Pokemon, smiling brightly. <Oh hi!> He walked around, rubbing up against each human and pokemon affectionately, then stopped at Rosa, looking up at her. <You're cute! My trainer says I am too. Wanna play?> Of course, it never crossed the Shinx's mind that she couldn't understand a word he was saying. Zander smiled, looking at Evania, loving the feel of being with her. It was so much different than when he was a Charmander. <I'd love to.> [/scrolly]

After a moment, she giggled slightly as the cats were made to relax, yet as Jade released a kitten of her own, Rosa's attention was taken again. Reaching forwards, she pet the Shinx having no idea what it was saying but assuming it was good. Ion, thankfully, translated a bit of what had been said. "Oh? A game? What kinda game?" the blond haired child asked. [/scrolly]

Chuckling softly, Miguel smiled at Spark when it seemed that the kitten had taken an interest in Rosa. "Well now, he's certainly a cute little Shinx. What's his name?"Miguel asked in a kind voice before hearing Rosa/Ion's translation of what the Shinx had said,"A game sounds to me like fun, what do you say Sable, Ellis?" he asked, referring to the two cat Pokemon who seemed to be quite comfortable as it was. Sable stiffened slightly when the Shinx rubbed against her but didn't seem to mind all that much considering how cute and harmless the little guy seemed to be ... what no she wasn't going soft of course not ... there was just no need to harm the Shinx that was all. Ellis watched the little Shinx from the comfort of Miguel's lap, amused at how at home the kitten seemed to be amongst all the dog Pokemon and the people there. When the Shinx asked if they wanted to play a game, Ellis perked up ... well, this could be fun perhaps, of course the Skitty still wasn't quite sure if he wanted to come down with that psychotic Glameow down there still but Miguel was here and could keep her under control. Yes ... perhaps he would play after all. ~~~ Evania smiled when Zander agreed and spread her wings before taking off, circling around to ensure that Zander would join her before flying away, a teasing twinkle in her eye. It seemed that Evania intended for Zander to catch her ... or at least to attempt to catch her.[/scrolly]
