When everyday's the weekend;[open/mod]

Saxxon let out a sigh of relief, she was most definately glad that was over. She relaxed a bit, and then turned back to Joey, prodding at him with her tail in an attempt to wake him up. He merely swatted at it and rolled over. Saxxon frowned, she would try again later. She sat back down and returned to her role as look out. She didn't notice the Aipom at all.

[Jay]

The Aipom slowly moved around the Arcanine and set different berries as close as she could get to the man and the fire dog without either of them noticing. Afterwords, she stepped back and jumped onto a pole before releasing a perfect Swift attack on the berries causing them to explode on impact.

Joey hardly took notice to the berry explosion, for he was still passed out. Saxxon on the other hand, was madder than a wet hen. Her eyes snapped up in the direction from where the Swift attack came from. And they immediately found the Aipom. She growled, and countered with a flame thrower. She was sure to be about a foot off. She didn't want to hurt the Aipom, but she did want to scare the crap out of it. Revengeee.

[Jay]

The Aipom's eyes grew in shock as she quickly dodged the Flamethrower attack. Suddenly she was very mad. What would the fire dog attack! It was just a prank! The Aipom rushed forwards. It was on. Using Fury Swipes, the Aipom charged forwards.

Saxxon chuckled to herself, thinking the Aipom would have scurried off. What she didn't count on was the Aipom getting mad and attacking. This Aipom really didn't know what it was getting itself into. But Saxxon also didn't want to get into a fight without Joey's approval. Yet she wasn't going to sit there and let the Aipom attack. Saxxon kicked Joey's side with her hind leg, hard enough to wake him up, but not to hurt him too bad. It did wake him up, for sure. "AH! What the-!" Joey quickly sat up, rubbing his eyes trying to wake himself up. He glared at Saxxon, and she merely motioned towards the Aipom. "O-oh. Ahh, shit. Umm, fire spin." Joey said with a sigh. Saxxon smiled, and then leaped forwards to face the Aipom. She barely managed to dodge the Fury swipes, but it did get a good few tufts of her fur. She attacked with her fire spin.

[Jay]

The Aipom was struck with Fire Spin and was thrown into the vortex for a moment before panicking. Using Swift to break the vortex, the Aipom managed to get out. However, she retained some burn damage. Using Water Pulse, the Aipom shot it straight at the Arcanine in retaliation.

Joey's eyes widened, "Use agility to dodge and then flamethrower!" he said frantically. Saxxon was fast to act, using her agility to dodge, but not fast enough. She was still soaking wet, which she hated. She glared at the Aipom, and showed no mercy with her flamethrower attack. Joey secretly admired the Aipom. Not every wild pokemon would bravely face an Arcanine alone.

[Jay]

Seeing the Flamethrower come at her, the Aipom used Double Team to avoid the bulk of the flames. However, she was still burnt a fraction. Recoiling with another Water Pulse, the Aipom was not about to give up!

"No! Saxxon- dodge it!" Joey cried. Saxxon tried, but she was hit with the water pulse right on. She gasped, stumbling back a few feet. She was dazed and confused, a little hurt but otherwise okay. Joey cringed when he saw Saxxon hit with the attack. But when he saw she was pretty much fine, he worried a little less, but still worried. He took a deep breath, "Finish this, Saxxon." he said with no emotion. Saxxon nodded slowly, and took a step forwards, with a slight limp. She then charged, and attacked with Take Down.

[Jay]

Suddenly seeing the Take Down coming straight at her, the Aipom made a move to dodge but was hit with the full force of the move. Falling back, the Aipm twitched on the ground as her mind faded into unconsciousness.

Saxxon stood over the Aipom, very dizzy from the recoil of the Take Down. She walked back to Joey slowly, and smiled at him. Joey smiled back and scratched the top of her head. "Thanks." He said, the word feeling like something fuzzy in his mouth. He wasn't used to saying words like that, but boy, when he said it he sure as hell meant it. Saxxon raised her head proudly, feeling closer to Joey and feeling better about herself. There wasn't anything she wouldn't do for him. Joey chuckled, and took out Saxxons pokeball.

"Rest my friend." He said softly, and Saxxon happily returned to her pokeball in a beam of red light. He put Saxxons pokeball in his backpack, and then took out an empty one. He looked at the fainted Aipom. He felt pretty bad for putting it through all that, and it was very brave and tough indeed. Before he changed his mind, Joey tossed the pokeball at the pokemon.

The pokeball hit the Aipom and took her in. It didn't even move but just sighed outwards and signaled the catch.

Personality: Kind but rather mischievous when it comes to pranks, this Aipom tends to be protective when she feels compelled to be. She rarely gets angry, but when she does, she will start a fight.

Joey half smiled to himself, and he retrieved the pokeball. He put it in his backpack. He'd figure out a name for it later, but for now he would let it rest and recover from the damage Saxxon did to it. He went through some bushes and trees, and eventually found the trail again. He definately didn't now where he was at the moment. He sighed, and then took out another cigarette and lit it up. He decided to take a random trail and follow it.

As the trail came farther along, it branched into two different ways. Which way would the trainer take? Left towards what appeared to be more cages or right which appeared to have been some old water show exhibit?

Joey stared at the fork in the trail. After thinking a bit, he decided to go right. Maybe he'd see different pokemon there? Hopefully he thought, they wouldn't be very aggressive. But just in case...He reached into his backpack and released Essy from her pokeball. He still needed some training to do with her. Essy smiled happily, "Draaa-tini!" she exclaimed and nuzzled Joey. He pet her with a smile, and then headed right, with Essy bouncing behind him.

[Jay]

To the right, there was a large pool that now appeared to lack water except for at the very bottom. There were steps leading towards the bottom, but they stopped after a few feet as though one were excepted to swim once they got that low in the water. Suddenly, something pink appeared for a moment before appearing to disappear again behind the brush on the other side of the pool.

Joey looked towards where he thought he saw something across the pool. But his vision was still a little blurry from still being drunk. He passed the idiotic drunk stage, now he was the calm drunk. He looked over at Essy, who seemed to notice the same thing. "Why dont you go check it out?" he said, have suggesting her to, and half telling her to. Essy grinned and nodded, and flew a few inches above the water, and to the bushes to where Joey said to go.

Within the bushes a Igglybuff caught sight of the Dratini and recoiled a fraction falling backwards if only for a moment before forcing herself back up and trying to get away as fast as possible. However, she tripped and was now flailing in the brushes.

Essy flinched as she saw the Iglybuff, and for a second considered flying back to Joey. But she reconsidered, since this iglybuff showed no agression. Just fear. And in Igglybuffs attempt to run, it fell into the bushes and seemed stuck. With a worried look, Essy went over to the bushes and found the poor thing struggling. She got behind it, and slowly helped it up. She then circled it and smiled at it.

The Igglybuff blinked at being set upright again but was insanely thankful for being so. Smiling now at the Dratini, the Igglybuff began talking quickly and waving her arms in gratitude at being helped up.
