When everyday's the weekend;[open/mod]

Joey found himself in the zoo area. In his hand was a half empty bottle of vodka. Was he drinking you may ask? Hell yeah. Being drunk was something he was very used to. His way of life. And he had gotten used to being drunk so many times, his hangover didn't suck as much as everyone elses. But it still sucked. Taking a swig of the vodka bottle, and walked uncoordinatedly towards a rail to one of the large cages. He put a hand on it, using it so he wouldn't fall and break a bone. Or worse, his vodka bottle. He looked, blurred visioned, into the cage. Open, and empty. He wondered what was in there, but he really could care less. Yawning he moved away from that cage and found another railing to an even bigger one. He continued down the trail, using the railing as support, completely oblivious to everything around him.

A Slugma was dozing in the middle of the path right in front of Joey. He preferably liked the spot because he could get a lot of sun right there, yet with the way Joey was walking, he could probably trip right over the fire slug pokemon without even noticing.

Joey started humming himself his own little tune. The world started moving around him, and he held on tighter to the rail, still trying to continue on. He noticed a reddish-orange blur on the floor. His eyes squinted at it, but he figured it was a bunch of leaves. Being drunk gave him terrible judgment. He raised his bottle, and tried to chug the rest of it. At the same time he tripped over the unfortunate Slugma.

His face slammed into the railing, and he stumbled a step or two before plopping onto the ground, back first. He layed there for a few moments, dazed and confused. He slowly sat up, with a grunt. He felt his nose, tender to the touch, bloody. He rolled his eyes, great, a broken nose. Just what he needed. Then it hit him, his vodka! He searched frantically for the bottle, finding it a foot or two away. He gasped, as it was nearly empty. He took it in his hand and drank the very last drop. He dropped it, leaving some blood around the edge.

Joey randomly burst out in a chuckle. He stood up, and then finally took notice to the Slugma. His head tilted at it, and he slowly knelt down. He grinned at it, blood still running from his nose, into his teeth, and down his chin. He indeed look like a freaking creeper.

"Hello little fella!" he said, in a overly friendly and creepy tone.

Upon being tripped on the Slugma woke up sharply and looked worriedly around as though trying to find what calamity had smashed into the world to cause such a force. Upon finding that it was a human, the Slugma's eyes narrowed rather in irritation more than anything else. As the man came forwards, the Slugma stared even more rather unnerved by the look on the man's face, yet he was stronger right? He had fire moves! That's right! Yes... he believed this. Deciding to make them man leave, the Slugma shot off a Ember attack at the man himself.

Joeys eyes widened for a second, and the surprise attack made him fall backwards back onto the ground. He scurried a few feet away, getting a few not too severe burns on his feet. He scowled at the Slugma, "You asshole pokemon!" He said grumpily. What was wrong with trying to make friends huh? Besides, it was the one that tripped him. Or so he thought. He then grabbed a stick and scooted back toward the Slugma. "Now be nice you red booger thing!" he said, poking it with the stick. He was too drunk to have the common sense to take one of his pokemon out of their pokeball and attack the Slugma.

[Jay]

The Slugma recoiled a fraction after being poked and shot off another Ember at the human. Go away! he shouted which ended up becoming a mix of 'Slug' and 'ma' repeatedly. He was not a fan of being woken up nor was he a fan of being prodded. If the human continued, he'd shoot off a flamethrower instead.

Joey let out a startled shriek, and tried to swat at the ember attack with the stick. It ended up burning it to a crisp. He scowled at the Slugma. "Fine then, I'm not gonna be your fwiend!" he said in a fake disappointed voice. He got up and then took out a cigarette and leaned down and used the Slugmas flame on its head as a giant lighter. With that done he left the Slugma alone with his cigarette. Maybe he'd try to catch it later and use it as a lighter. He shrugged, and continued down the trail, with a slight limp from the burns on his feet.

The Slugma was irritated at being used in such a way, but after the man seemed to go on his way, he got comfortable once more and went back to sunning himself fast asleep as though the man had not ever fazed him.

Not far from where Joey was walking, something walked behind him now copying his every movement to a T. The grinning pokemon continued to follow and see if the man would notice or not.

Joey finished his cigarette quickly, and sighed stopped walking. Maybe he would try and catch that Sluma after all. He took off his backpack and dug through it, and pulled out another vodka bottle. He smiled to himself, and didn't even wait to open it up. Taking a swig, he slung his backpack over one shoulder. For some reason, Joey suddenly felt the urge to turn around. Like the urge to pee, you could ignore it but eventually your going to listen to it. So he decided to listen to his urge and he turned around and blinked at what he saw.

An Aipom grinned lightly at the boy she had been mimicking with ease and wondered what exactly he planed to do. She was still a few feet away and knew she could probably run fast enough or get away quick enough without worry.

Joey eyeballed the Aipom, wondering why in the world it would be copying him. He took a long swig of his vodka, and then looked back at the Aipom. Maybe this pokemon would like to be his friend! He smiled and spread out his arms, "New best friendddd!" he said and ran towards it, in hopes for a hug. He tripped over an open root, and fell face first into the ground. He groaned and rolled over on his back with a pouty face. Obviously, the universe was trying to tell him something. And of of course being the dumbass that he was he didnt listen.

The Aipom had taken a step back upon seeing the man run towards her was now blinking in confusion as to what the man was exactly doing. After a moment, she approached with caution and finally stood over the man looking at him rather confused. "Ai?" she asked wondering what was wrong.

Joey looked up at the sky with a 'Fuck my life.' look on his face. Not because of what he had, but of what he chose to do with it. Yeah he wanted to quit, but it was so easy to go back in and forget all his empty promises. He took notice to the Aipom a minute or two into his little trance, and then stared at it for a few seconds. He reached into his bag and pulled out a cracker and held it out to the pokemon. He had no intentions of befriending it or catching it, but it was the nice thing to do.

[Jay]

The Aipom took the cracker rather surprised to say the least of things and looked down at it for a few seconds before taking a bite. After another moment, she shoved the entire thing in her mouth. "Aipalm A!" she smiled happily thanking him for the cracker.

Joey merely nodded at the Aipom, "Yeeeeah." he said slowly. He sat up and let out a long sigh. He felt a wave of nausea coming and he quickly scrambled to his feet and ran over behind a bush and puked. He groaned, "Maybe I'll lay off the vodka for today..." he said to himself. He stumbled back to where the Aipom was. "Nice meeting you." he said, High-fiveing the Aipoms tail. He then headed towards a really big cage. In his drunken haze, he figured if all the pokemon were out, so none would be inside the cage. Wrong or not, this time he would take out one of his so he wouldn't he comepletely useless and defenseless.

The Aipom sweat dropped as the man walked off towards a cage that was completely empty. Shaking her head, she crossed her arms and sat back on her palm tail wondering why the man was acting so strange. He did smell a bit different than other humans, yet she couldn't quite get why it would make him act so odd.

Joey decided to lay down and take a nap in the cage. A minute into his nap, a pokeball within his back pack started shaking. One rolled out, and in a flash of light, Saxxon emerged from her pokeball. She took a look at Joey and sighed, "Arcanine..." she grunted. She looked around, he managed to get himself into a cage. She sighed again and grabbed him by the coller of his shirt with her teeth and dragged him out and under a tree. She noticed the Aipom, but she just raised a brow and blinked at it. As long as it didn't attack she really didn't care what it did. Saxxon nudged Joey with her paw, trying to wake him up. When he didn't budge she just rolled her eyes and took a seat next to him, keeping a lookout. As much as Joey did extremely stupid things, she still loved him dearly and wouldn't trade him for any body else.

[Jay]

The Aipom watched as the giant fire dog appeared, and she felt a tad reproachful at somthing that big. Deciding to climb up a light pole and away from the dog and the human, the Aipom continued to watch with a rather curious look. Suddenly the sound of hooves could be heard as three Girafarig ran around a corner and continued running on oblivious to the Arcanine, her trainer, and the Aipom.

Saxxon felt the ground shaking slightly. Worry struck her mind, as she raised her head slowly. Her eyes widened, the Girafarig didn't even realize that they were heading right towards them. Thinking quickly, the Arcanine grabbed Joey by his shirt with his teeth and dragged him out of the way. She stood in front of him, firmly taking her place. If they decided to change direction and headed to them, they would have to go through her.

[Jay]

The Girafarig continued on course still oblivious to the pokemon and human and passed them without any sort of thought on the matter. The Aipom was dumbfounded for a moment before slowly nodding a bit to herself and then looking around. Feeling the compulsion to play a prank, the Aipom had an idea. Taking what appeared to be a berry, the Aipom slowly began to sneak over to the human and the Arcanine.
