Here and There (Cora/Open)

[Jay]

The expression of Rosa's face could only be adequately described as @_@ at that moment as she nodded slowly. Felis was left standing there taking in the name and then sweat dropping when Rosa finally stopped. "Silly Rosa," he chimed a bit before half laughing and walking to bring a hand to the young girl's shoulder. "You should say sorry for running into her...." he stated aloud. Rosa blinked a few more seconds before finally nodding as the world seemed to stop moving from... uh... well whatever had happened....."Orry..." she managed after a few seconds.

Cora smiled at the young girl as she held her in her arms. After a few minutes Cora let her go and took a step back. When Feils told her to say sorry Cora was going to object but to late. Rosa said sorry and the way she said at made Cora's face go like this. "x3" She was sooo cute! She was the kind of girl of she did something bad you would not be able to be mad at her for very long. Cora then waved her hands infront of her. " Oh, its ok. I'm just gald I was here able to catch her so she did not get hurt." Treecko had made his way back to Cora but stopped to look at Rosa smiled and gave a small wave. Mudkip also walked over back to Cora and sat down next to her.
Cora looked over at Felis. Well, it seems I have taken to much of your time.. I will going now unless." Cora pused and looked down at Rosa " Someone wants me to stay?" She asked mainly to see if the little girl wanted her to stay a little longer, If not Cora then would leave.

Rosa's eyes grew as Cora directed the question towards her. "Ya!" she said rather suddenly. "Let's play and Felis can make dinner and we can have fun!" Rosa grinned aloud. Felis sweat dropped about the wording to make dinner but simply half smiled when he realized this was his time to show off his kitchen skills of sorts. After a few more seconds, the blond haired man let out a light laugh. "If you want to say, you can play with Rosa for a bit as well as the other pokemon in this area while I whip up something quick," he grinned a bit thinking about what to cook.

Cora smiled when the little girl wanted her to stay but when she said something about Feils cooking dinner her face changed to "o.o;;" She did not need to be treated to meal or anything... Now she felt like she was causeing trouble for Feils... he is a noble after all and must be very busy... Cora was about to think he did not have to that for a commner like her but she caught her self... She was a noble to... But no way was she going say that... That fact bugged the heck out of her and she did not want anyone knowing about that.. Cora's face darkend a little at that thought but she caught her self and smiled with a sweet drop. " You don't have to make dinner if you don't want to Felis.. But if you want to go ahead." Cora then looked at Rosa.

" Ok, where would you like to play at?" Cora asked the child with a smile. Treecko jumped up and landed on Cora's head. Cora gave annoyed looked and look up at the treecko. He was always doing that.... Mudkip giggled a little. Poochyena gave a snort. He was still not used to having a trainer and did not like strangers. So he would not be playing he would find a good place to take a nap or something. Cora heard the snort from the little dark type pokemon and gave a sigh. But she knew Poochyena would come around some day. Cora then thought about Charzard and wished she could let him out but she knew that would be a big no no. She then looked at Rosa with a smile. " Well lead the way."

[Jay]

"Oh I love cooking~" Felis chimed. "It's no problem at all." With that, he started off towards the kitchen with a smooth step. Now then... what to make what to make... Oh there we go~ He'd make some noodles and things. That would be good.. and maybe some salad and oh well... we'll just make this a full course meal~

Rosa grinned and then reached forwards to take Cora's hand. "This way this way! We'll go to my room!" she stated aloud before more or less running as fast as she could towards her 'room' which actually consisted of an entire spiral tower.

Cora looked at Felis and gave a "^^;;" Look and just hoped he would not over do it.. She did not need a huge fancy meal. But seeing as Felis has been in a noble life he would most likely make something fancy... Great... Then little Rosa took Cora by the hand and started to take her to her room. As they ran up the long stairs she was amazed on how big this castle was... But her little house she grew up in to shame thats for sure." Just how much further Rosa?" Cora asked

Treeko was enjoying the ride from Cora's head. He was smiling and giggling. Mudkip and Poochyena had to run behind them to to stay close. Poochyena was grumbling as Mudkip was smiling and cheerful as always. Wondering where they were going.

[Jay]

Felis was smirking to himself as he started into the kitchen. His movements were fluid, and his entire form was something of a dancer rather than a chef. He weaved in and out of the counters and finally got out several pots, pans, and things before starting to heat up the noddles. After that, he went easily for the salad and continued his work. Ruru seemed to come inwards noticing the smell and began to help as well getting out things to make the salad and starting to chop them up with his leaves.

Rosa grinned back at Cora. "Just up these stairs!" she answered back before continuing to lead the other woman along up the stairs that twisted around the tower. "The entire tower is my room, but there's a better part of it at the top!" she stated aloud in a rather acute voice. Despite the fact that she didn't often show it, Rosa was intellegent in the end of it.

Cora started to think it was kinda not fair that nobles got to live is huge houses let alone a whole castle! If she had a huge castle she would spend lots of hours exploring it looking for forgotten pathways and secret passages. But that was just a childhood dream with would most likely would never happen and nor would she ask. As they got closer to the top Cora was glad she was in good shape. Most people would have been breathing heavily.
Though Cora's pokemon where breathing heavily as they reached the top. They were not used to climping up long stair ways like this. Cora nodded at the girl. " Well, I can't wait to see the best part." She said with a smile.

[Jay]

Rosa grinned and then finally made it to the top to which she stopped. Taking hold of the door that separated the stairs from her room, she finally opened and showed the very pink plush room. It was large and consisted of a pretty pink princess bed, large cabinets and drawers, and an entire themed set of horses all along the back wall. Turning back, Rosa grinned a bit and then walked inwards before suddenly changing pace and walking towards her chest of drawers.

Starting to fumble with it for a few seconds, the blond haired girl stopped and then brought a finger to her chin as though thinking about something. However, after whatever thought had hit her, she walked to her toy box and began to mess around in it instead. After a few more seconds, she produced what appeared to be a pokeball of sorts.

"Daisy!" she called throwing the ball up in the air and releasing a Hopip who blinked upon being released. Upon seeing a person there, Daisy's eyes grew large, and she quickly rushed behind Rosa. The child laughed and then turned around to hold the Hopip in her arms before walking towards Cora. "This is Daisy~!" she grinned.

Downstairs, Felis was already starting to chop up a few things to put in the pasta and was humming as he did so. In the back of his mind, he wondered for a few seconds where Miguel was... Eh... oh right. He had gone out that day for some reason. Oh well~ With that, he continued.

When they got to the room Cora blinked at how pink it was.. And it looked like a real princess bed room. How it was almost every little girls dream to have a room like this. Though If it where Cora's choice her room would not be soo pink. haha... But none the less Cora thought the room looked cute and walked in after Rosa. When Rosa started to look for something, Cora sat down and waited for the little girl to find what ever she was looking for.
Treecko jumped down from Cora's head and started to look around the pink room. Mudkip and Poochyena came in and fell over panting. They both decided they did not like stairs and would asked to be eather carried or returned to there pokeballs...


When Rosa found the pokeball and called out a Hopip, Cora smiled and then giggled when it tried to hid behind Rosa. When she brought the pokemon over and said its name Cora smiled and waved at the shy grass pokemon. " Hello, Daisy I'm Cora nice to meet you." She said to the pokemon with a gentle smile. Mudkip made her way over to Cora looking tried and got into her lap. " Mudkip mud..." She said before closing her eyes. Poochyena walked over to the pink bed and crawled underneath it and layed down to sleep. Treecho on the other hand was getting into things like toys and stuff and looking around.

[Maid Melody]

Miguel entered the castle and closed the door behind him with a soft thump. He had just returned from a day out where he had caught numerous pokemon, one of them being a Ponyta he had deemed Porthos. Breathing out softly, he noticed that the castle was quiet, perhaps Rosa and Felis were doing separate things at the moment...that would explain the calm of the castle after all. Miguel walked through the hallway peeking into the rooms as he went, half hoping he would run into Felis first while at the same time dreading the meeting...the fact that fire Pokemon weren't allowed on the premises made Miguel's stomach turn. What had he been thinking bringing Porthos here...sure he was inside his Pokeball at the moment but...all the same, it didn't sit well with the young knight.

As Miguel walked through the halls, he neared the kitchen and smelled the unmistakable aroma of food cooking; smiling to himself he entered the kitchen.
"I have returned m... Felis,"he said in a calm voice,"Would you like some assistance?"

[Jay]

Felis's head turned in the direction of Miguel, and the blond haired man smiled rather lightly. "Oh there you are~ I was just thinking of you~ Welcome back," he grinned before placing the vegetables and putting them in with the pasta. "If you want, you start toasting the bread and then finish settling the salad~" he stated aloud before continuing to his cooking rather meticulously.

Rosa smiled happily and then slowly allowed Daisy down again to which the Hoppip quickly hid behind the girl once more. Giggling, Rosa shook her head and then wondered where Dash had gone. She had been chasing after him earlier... Oh well~ After a few seconds, she turned her head and saw a different Treecko getting into her toys. "Careful! My dollies!" she cried aloud walking over towards the chest with her favorite dolls inside.

Cora smiled and also giggled when the Pokemon hid behind Rosa again. When she got up and said something about her dolls. Cora also looked up and saw what her Treecko was getting into things he shouldn't. Cora frowned and hardend her look at her pokemon. " Treecko... This is not our house please becareful with Rosa's things or back into the pokeball you go." Cora said sternly. The the cry of the little girl Treecko stopped what he was doing and looked up. He was not trying to hurt her toys. Just looking, but when he saw that look from Cora he gulped and jumped down to the floor. " Treecko.." He said in a sorry tone and looked at Rosa.
Cora smiled and nodded when her pokemon stopped.

Treecko then walked over to Rosa and jumped up on the toy box she went to and saw her dolls. He blinked as he looked at them then jumped back down and then walked over to a wall and started to clime it. Cora shook her head as she petted the sleeping Mudkip in her lap. Treecko could be such a handful at times.. She hoped he would not upset Rosa. She had a feeling Felis would not like that to well.

[Maid Melody]

Miguel nodded and immediately set to work doing as Felis asked him to, grateful that the duke hadn't noticed his nervousness. Putting an apron on, Miguel began to cut the bread before placing butter and seasoning on it before placing the slices on a cookie sheet and sticking it in the oven under the broiler. While the bread toasted, Miguel busied himself with cutting up the vegetables for the salad.
"Did things fare well while I was away?"he asked in a calm voice as he cut up the vegetables.
When the bread was done, Miguel removed the cookie sheet and placed it on the counter before resuming his vegetable cutting.

[Jay]

Rosa smiled a bit after everything settled again and finally started to pull out her dollies. One of them, resembling an orange haired girl in a yellow shirt, blue shorts, and suspenders, was picked up and held out to Cora by Rosa. "This is Misty!" she giggled a bit before taking out another one not seeing if Cora actually took it or not. After a few seconds, she pulled out another doll who had dark hair, long pants, a black shirt, and a jacket. "And this one is Ash!" she giggled aloud before finally pulling out the last one.

"And this one is Kratos<3" With that, she produced a red haired doll sporting odd purple clothes and wearing angelic wings on his back. "Kratos is my favorite! He's so cool! He uses his super awesome sword and... Oh one sec..." she reached into her toybox again and pulled out yet another doll who resembled a brown haired woman in rather tan clothes.

"And he saves Anna<3 She's not a princess but she's so nice and quiet and kind and loving. And Kratos saves her from the dark team Cruxis who plots to take over the world but secretly already has with the power of angelis a power that gives people and pokemon wings... That's where the first flying type pokemon came from! Oh but Kratos was once part of Cruxis but he left because Anna was being hurt while growing wings, so he decided to try and help her instead of hepling Team Cruxis." She nodded a bit at this point and stared towards Cora with large eyes.

"Oh and he eventually saves Anna but she's so sick and and and...." After a few seconds, the child was quiet before finally shaking her head. "But then in the future Team Cruxis comes back, and Kratos's son Lloyd saves the world but that's a different story~" she giggled a bit and slowly put her dolls down on the floor.

Daisy watched Rosa for a bit with interest but soon found herself lost and confused about the story. Instead of trying to ask the young girl or figure it out for herself, the Hoppip looked over towards the Mudkip and decided to talk to it instead. <H-h-hi.....> she said after a moment more.

Upon hearing the question, Felis's head turned towards Miguel, and for a few seconds, he was quiet. However, after that, he simply sighed and went back to what he had been making up. "Somewhat," he answered back in a light tone. "A Charizard gave me a near heart attack earlier..." he sighed a bit as he said this and continued to work no longer looking towards Miguel but focusing as hard as possible on what he was cooking.

"I was so sure that it was going to burn down our house... that I had Rosie use a sleep song of sorts... then some things happened... I got yelled at for a bit..." he shook his head as he said this but somehow managed to keep his light demeanor.

"Though it all turned out alright... the girl with the Charizard is playing with Rosa~ She seems nice enough now that I've talked to her, but of course Rosie's probably lurking around the premise somewhere..... which I am grateful for at this point....Fire types are dangerous creatures especially under the control of people with malicious intent....They'd kill everyone and hurt everyone ugh...." Felis fund himself frowning rather darkly for a few seconds after he had said this. After a bit, he broke off form his story and seemed to turn the heat up on the stove.

Deciding not to resume his story but change the subject instead, Felis shook his head slowly and then looked towards Miguel. "So where did you go off to anyways? And did you have fun?" he smiled lightly.

When the young girl relaxed Cora smiled then suddenly found a Misty doll in her face. Cora took it and looked at it but had no idea who Misty was. Must be a made up name for something for the doll. Putting it gently on the floor next to her yet again the young girl had put another doll in her face. This time a boy doll called Ash. Again Cora thought nothing of it, but took the doll looked at it and put it down. Cora smiled at Rosa as she showed off her toys and listened to every word she said. She then started to talk about her Kratos and Anna dolls. Again Cora found her self not knowing who they where. So she listened intently. As she did Cora thought Rosa was good at making up storys or this was a story passed down by her family.

She had never heard of the team called Team Cruxis, and never heard of the story how bird pokemon on their wings. But Cora liked the story that Rosa told her and just smiled as she listened. After a while though she got lost becuse Rosa started going all over the place with the story. A swet apperd on the side of Cora's head but she still kept smiling. " Your dolls are cute Rosa and I like the story. Did you make it up or did Felis tell it to you?" Cora asked. Mudkip by then started to wake up just in time to hear Hopip's shy shoft voice speak to her.
< Huh? Oh hello, how are you?"> She asked the grass pokemon. Treecko by now was on the celling upside down. Looking down at everyone in the room. He eas thinking about letting go and falling on someones head... But who?

[Maid Melody]

When Miguel heard that Felis had had a near heart attack from a Charizard, he stopped chopping the vegetables and turned to look at Felis, frowning slightly at the turn of events that had happened when he was away. After the duke had finished speaking, Miguel nodded, once again feeling that same guilty feeling in the pit of his stomach over what had happened at the abandoned castle.
I see..."Miguel began in a calm voice before turning back to the vegetables and resuming preparations for the salad,"Indeed...fire Pokemon can be dangerous, but as you said, under the wrong trainer. There is no such thing as a bad Pokemon however, they just do as they are told. As for where I went...I journeyed to Era Castle to practice my swordsmanship and ended up saving a lovestruck Hoppip. I can tell you about my other Pokemon later...perhaps you would like to take a walk with me outside the castle grounds after dinner? There is something I would like to show you."
When Miguel finished cutting up the vegetables, he placed them in the salad bowl along with the lettuce and began mixing the salad.

[Jay]

Rosa blinked for a moment before giggling to herself. "Silly.... it's a real story!" she answered back nodding her head. "I'm surprised you haven't heard it!" she giggled again before walking over towards her shelves of ponies and starting to take them off the shelf. "These are my ponies~!" she chimed. "Have you seen Camelia? She's like a small horse heheheh." After a few seconds, Rosa went back to going through her things until finding yet another pokeball and releasing a Elfuun from a pokeball mildly naming it Annie as she went on. After a few seconds, she stopped again and turned to Cora. "So what do you want to play?" she finally asked.

Daisy smiled and waved again. <I... I'm good> she answered back after a moment befor enoticing the Elfuun. After a few seconds, she waved towards Annie and then sat down carefully. Annie stared at the Treecko for a few seconds wondering if it was Dash. If it was, she was going to scold him hard for leaving sucker prints on the ceiling.....again. <Dash get down from there!> she yelled a bit irritatedly at him.

Felis stopped short for a moment and turned his head towards Miguel before simply nodding a bit. "Sure~" he answered back before finally stepping back from the pot. "I need to check up on the girls...." he smiled before looking towards Ruru. "You should come too~" he chimed to Miguel. "I'm sure Ruru can handle keeping an eye on things for a little~" With that, he started off towards Rosa's room.

Cora's face reddened a little when Rosa kinda laughed at the fact she had never heard of the story, and rubbed the back of her neck. " I guess being just a commoner has something to do with it." She said truthfully. She knew was of noble blood but she has lived a life of a commoner and thats something she never wanted to change. Plus the rebels where annoying as it is wanting to use her Charzard as a tool of war... If word got out she was a noble... She did not even want to think about it.. As she thought of this Cora frowned a little bit caught her self and smiled once more when Rosa said something about her ponies. Cora nodded and smiled, then when Rosa asked what she wanted to play Cora started to think.

" Umm, You choose this is your room after all." Cora said with a smile. Midkup now got off of Cora's lap and smiled at the Hopip. < "That is good, I'm Mudkip with your name? Oh whos that?"> the water Pokemon asked when Annie came out and strarted to yell at Treecho. Treecko looked down at the Elfuun and stuck his tongue out at her. < " Do I look like Dash to you? My name is Treecko, and no I will not come down I will stay up here thank you very much.> Treecko said in a annoyed tone of voice. The only one who would listen to anyway was Cora. He was not going to listen to bossy grass type he did not even know.
Mudkip looked up at Treecko and shook her head.

[Maid Melody]

Miguel nodded and after finishing tossing the salad, followed Felis out of the kitchen.
"Of course, I would like the chance to meet our guest after all. Did she seem kind...after she stopped yelling at you of course?"he asked in a calm kind voice as he easily kept pace with Felis.
As they walked through the halls, Miguel found himself thinking once again about the Pokemon he had caught and dreading having to show Felis the other Pokemon he had captured. The Sunflora he intended to give to Rosa of course...and perhaps some of the others he had caught but Porthos...he was another matter entirely. And after Felis having admitted that the Charizard had nearly given him a heart attack well...perhaps the timing was poor but he would have to think of a plan that didn't include releasing the Ponyta. Smiling to himself as he walked next to Felis, he looked at the duke and waited for a reply, resolved to not worry about the matter until later. After all, it wouldn't do to appear worried in front of Rosa or their guest now would it~?
