Here and There (Cora/Open)

Rosa brought a finger to her chin in thought, and for a good few seconds, the blond haired girl thought rather hard to say the least of it. Her forehead scrunched up, and she seemed to cross her arms as though debating on what to play. "Mmmmmm," she finally answered as she continued to debate on what the best game would be.

<My name is Daisy... like the flowert> the Hoppip answered back with a quiet smile before looking over at Annie who was staring up ta the Treecko despite the fact that he had said he was not Dash. This only seemed to irritated the Elfuun a bit more. <Well if you're not Dash, then you're either new here or a guest, and both of which should respect other people's things. Rosa's room is my responsibility after all> Annie answered back crossing her short arms in front of herself adamantly.

"She seems rather good natured caring quite a bit for her pokemon," Feliciano answered back shrugging his shoulders a bit as he said it. "At first she worried me, but she certainly has taken to Rosa, so she can't be that bad, you know~" He half laughed at this statement as he said it. Soon enough, they had come to Rosa's tower, and with that, Felis had started up the stairs towards the child's room.

Cora sat there and just watched the little girl as she thought rather hard. She was just so cute that Cora could not help but smile. She kinda wished she had a cute little sister like Rosa. Though she did have a sister. A long lost twin so was happy to find her.. But there where some issues she was going to have to over come..

Mudkip nodded with a smile. " Flower, thats a cute name." said the Mudkip and she looked over at the annoyed looking Elfuun called Annie. Mudkip blinked then looked up to see Treecko being... Well Treecko. Mudkip sighed and shook her head. Treecko could be real rude sometimes..

Treecko just stuck his tongue out Annie. " Do I look like I care? I will come down when I'm good and ready thank you." Treecko said in a rude tone of voice. Just then he felt someone coming and a smile came to his face and he walked over to wall over the door. He was going to drop on whoever came through. heheh... That would be so funny..

Of course, anyone that was worried about their Pokemon and got along with Rosa was all right with Miguel, of course the maiden would be worried about her Pokemon...if anything happened to Falkor well, he'd probably be as mad as she was at first. Miguel was so busy thinking about the maiden that he almost ran into the wall before the stairs started, thankfully he was able to catch himself just in time and spun on his heel to avoid the wall entirely. "Indeed, it does seem that our guest doesn't seem bad at all. I can hardly blame her for being worried about her Pokemon, I would probably be in the same position...though with less yelling, if that happened to me. So this maiden cares for her Pokemon and gets along with Rosa...yes, she doesn't seem bad at all~." he replied in a thoughtful voice as he followed Felis up the spiral staircase. As Miguel followed Felis upstairs, he once again felt his stomach churn with guilt at what he was keeping from the duke. Thankful that Felis was in front of him at the moment, Miguel put one hand on the wall as he walked up the stairs and closed his eyes before taking a deep breath. Perhaps if Rosa came with him that would...no...he had seen the fear in her eyes when he had even mentioned fire when talking about burn heal with her. There was no way he'd frighten the princess when it was something he could have prevented...he would just have to think of a way to break the news to Felis himself...without Rosa. Sighing quietly, Miguel opened his eyes and looked at Felis, well he did seem quite happy right now, even with the scare...perhaps he would take the news just fine after all. Shaking his head slightly to push the thoughts aside, Miguel smiled and removed his hand from the wall, letting it rest at his side once more as he climbed the stairs. "So how did you and Rosa fare while I was away?" [/scrolly]

The young girl finally grinned and then seemed to decide what to play. However, a sudden rather loud wooosh sound that followed caused her to stop. Annie had released a Gust on the ceiling where the Treecko was no longer caring if he was there but resolving to clean it at least. "Annie don't clean while people are here!" Rosa said frowning a little, yet the Whimsicott ignored it and continued to use air moves to clean off the ceiling. Rosa now found herself completely distracted as she watched the ceiling dust fall.

Felis looked back for a moment and was about to answer Miguel's question when the sound hit his ears. Looking up and all but bolting up the stairs on a fit of adrenaline, the blond haired man seemed to drop all thought until he had pulled open the door and was now staring inside. Upon seeing Rosa was alright, Felis relaxed considerably and managed a smile. Ah... alright... this was ok. It was... just Annie.

Cora smiled at Rosa when it looked like she was ready to decide what she wanted to play. Then at the sound of gust Cora's head shot up and she even stood up. To see Annie cleaning the celling and looking rather annoyed. Cora calmed down and looked around and saw Treecko on the celling. She then shook her head and frowned a little. Why can't her Treecko behave its self for once? Cora then saw Felis enter looking rather panicked but he seemed to calm down when he saw everything was ok. " Hello Felis, who is that behind you?' Cora asked when she saw Miguel.

Then with his target insight Treecko jumped off the celling and landed on Felis's head and held on laughing all the while. When Treecko did that Mudkip frowned and started yelling at the grass Pokemon to get off Felis's head. Cora gave a annoyed look at her Treecko. " Sorry about that... Treecko get off or back into the pokeball you go." She said threateningly. The Treecko looked at Cora and gulped and jumped off Felis's head and onto the ground. And pouted, he was just trying to have some fun..

When he saw the Whimsicott cleaning the ceiling, Miguel relaxed and found himself exhaling softly as he had been holding his breath, afraid something had happened to Rosa. Looking into the room, Miguel saw that Rosa was indeed all right, as was Felis. Miguel had been about to say hello to Rosa and the other maiden when a Treecko landed on Felis' head. Surprised about the sudden ambush, and was about to step in to help when the maiden scolded the grass Pokemon. He was trying his best not to laugh at the sight of the pouting Treecko that he almost missed the question the maiden had asked of him...well...of Felis really. Eyes sparkling with amusement as he tried to keep his laughter hidden, Miguel smiled at the maiden and bowed,"I am Miguel, knight of this castle under Felis. What might your name be fair maiden and how did you come across such a playful Treecko?" he said in a kind voice as he stood back up, his eyes dancing with obvious mirth. [/scrolly]

Despite the fact that a Treecko had just dropped down and pretty much clung to his head, Felis was a lot calmer over the fact that he saw a flash of green first. This inevitably led to the belief that it was just some sort of playful grass type of Rosa's or something of the like, so indeed, he didn't react at all until Cora had scolded the Treecko off.

After a moment, Felis blinked a little and found himself chuckling lightly to himself. After a moment, the blond haired man began to settle his hair that had been messed up by the random ninja attack of sorts. "Well that was silly," he found himself mumbling a little lightly as Miguel introduced himself.

Rosa who had watched the entire scenario was oddly silent. Her teal eyes had remained on Felis for a good few seconds until he had finally had the Treecko off of him. After a moment, she suddenly rose and was smiling a bit before running and literally glomping Miguel. "MIGGYYYYYY," was the call.

Felis watched as Rosa made to hug/tackle Miguel, and for a brief moment, he was a tad sad that he wasn't the first one glomped on sight. However... Seeing as Miguel had become a part of the castle and family so to speak, Felis wiped this thought away in an instant. It was good to see Rosa this way.

Cora watched Felis and the new comer and saw how the other man was trying to hold back laughter as her little Treecko pouted at being scolded. When Miguel said his name Cora smiled, but then blushed a little when he bowed to her. Even more so when he called her fair maiden, She then gave a shocked expression and held up her hands and gave a weak smile. " Umm no need to call me that or bow for that matter.. My name is Cora Bennett, Its nice to meet you." Cora said with a nervous giggle. Not being used to being treated like that, not that she did not like it though. Just kinda saw that as unnecessary.

When Miguel asked how she came to get Treecko, Cora had to think about that for a minute for its been a while when she caught her Treecko. " Ummm... Oh, it was when I came to this small town. Treecko was pulling pranks and being mean to some children, my Charzard was just a charmander back then. I decided to catch it to teach it some manners and to help the children. Treecko is a lot better then he used to be... But he still likes to pull pranks on people... It can be a handful at times." Treecko by now had folded his arms and was will pouting, Mudkip walked over Treecko scowling at him. Poochyena
who was sleeping under Rosa's bed woke up do the gust attack. He crawled out from under the bed and when he saw Miguel

He started to growl a little. Cora looked at Poochyena and gave a sigh. " Thats Poochyena, I caught him not to long ago when looking for a shinx. So he is not to friendly to strangers or to me at the moment. But that will change over time." Cora said with a smile as she looked lovingly at her little dark type Pokemon.

When Cora blushed, Miguel simply smiled and nodded at Cora's response,"Of course m'lady, as you wish I will not call you that any longer."he replied kindly as she explained about how she met the Treecko and laughed softly,"Sounds a bit like my Shuckle, except he simply likes to play a dragon, Falkor has always been a bit odd and a handful, but I wouldn't give him up for the world; he was the first Pokemon friend I made." Hearing the growl, Miguel shifted slightly so that his body was in between the location of the growler and Rosa more out of instinct than anything when he heard Cora say that was her Poochyena and relaxed before looking at the little Pokemon and smiling at him,"Well now, aren't you a brave little warrior. You'll take good care of Cora now won't you?" [/scrolly]

After less than a second of thought, she giggled to herself and simply smiled. "I'm good," she answered back rather easily in that moment before slowly looking back towards Cora as the girl introduced herself and then talked to Miguel. Hu? What was with her face being all red.... That... was weird... After a few seconds, Rosa pushed this from her mind and then looked back up to Miguel. "Cora's my new friend," Rosa smiled rather easily before finally noticing Felis. Upon seeing him, Rosa literally glomped him as well. Felis, who had already been subjected to a ninja attack from a Treecko, found himself making an 'umph' sounds as he was subject to a hug/tackle. After a few seconds, he grinned and then looked towards Cora. "Yep, Miguel helps out around the castle with things," Felis smiled with an ease about him. "So what have you two been playing up here?" Felis asked. Rosa seemed to grin back up at her older brother and then looked back towards her toys. "We were going to play with dolls..." she answered back before looking towards the two men in the room. "But since you're here... can we go outside and play something?" Rosa asked with all but stars for eyes. [/scrolly]

Poochyena looked at Miguel as his words sank in. Warrior? Brave?? Poochyena liked this guy, he was won over with just a few words. Poochyena then barked happily as if saying yes wagging his tail and smiling as he looked up at the knight. Cora looked at her little dark type Pokemon in shock, Poochyena has not even responded to like that yet. She took notes on this, " So Poochyena likes compliments? Well that I can do." Cora thought to her self with a smile. Cora then looked back at Miguel when he spoke to her again. When he called her m'lady she blushed slightly but not as bad as before. This would take time getting used to, thats for sure.

Cora then looked over at Rossa and Felis and smiled when Rossa said she was her friend. Man Rossa was cute, Cora just loved little kids cute as Rossa. When Rosa said she wanted to play outside, Cora nodded. She would not mind playing outside, and her Pokemon could run around more freely. And her Treecko may get into less trouble outside, but that was very doubtful. " I would not mind playing outside." Cora said with a smile.

It seemed that the Poochyena was just looking for someone to recognize how brave he was. Hearing Rosa ask if he wanted to go outside, Miguel smiled kindly at Rosa and nodded before bowing slightly to the young girl, "If that is what the princess wishes, I would be honored to join you and Lady Cora outside...that is, if Felis is all right with it." However, she needn't have done it seeing as Felis was grinning anyways. "That sounds wonderful," he answered back rather easily. Rosa's grin grew large, and with that, she was already up and moving towards the door. "Come on come on then!" she called in a quick voice before starting down the stairs. Felis laughed a little to himself before then slowly following after her. [/scrolly]

When Rosa wanted to play outside and Miguel said that he would he honerd if she came with them, Cora could not help but nod yes. And it would be nice to go outside anyway, more room for her pokemon to play around." Sure, I would be happy to play outside." Cora said with a smile then clapped her hands, at the hand clapping Treeckp and Mudkip both headed out the door of the room, Poochyena did the same but not as fast. Cora was the last to leave the room and followed behind her pokemon. " Well, who would have thought I would be haveing so much fun a noble's castle?" Cora thought with a smile.

Rosa had already headed down as had Felis and Cora's Pokemon and the lady herself. As Miguel moved to follow the group, he heard Cora's words and smiled softly to himself, wondering what the day's events would bring; indeed it did seem that Cora was kind-hearted and was merely concerned for her own Charizard. At remembering Felis' reaction to the Charizard, Miguel felt his own stomach turn as he remembered what exactly he had to tell the duke...well...hopefully he'd be able to show Felis outside away from his plants, that at least might keep Felis calm...well more calm at least.[/scrolly]

Her small fingers tightened rather quickly around the knob before she pulled it open and raced outwards into the calm yard. A few of Felis's pokemon looked a tad startled at all the ruckus but then seemed to calm again when they realized who it was. It was only after she had gotten oustdie that Rosa had actually looked back. Felis had followed suit and was only a good few yards behind Rosa. As he finally made it to the door and followed the young girl out, he breathed inwards and grinned to himself. "Ah the air is just lovely~!" he called with a light smile on his face. [/scrolly]

But she was having fun playing with Rosa, so thats all that really mattered. When they got outside Cora smiled and watched as Treecko took off to play in the trees. While Mudkip started to look at all the pretty flowers. Cora watched her pokemon, though she had a somewhat sad exprassion that her Charizard could not enjoy this.. Oh well rules are ment to be followed. So to hid that she was a little sad Cora smiled happily and looked at Rosa. " What would you like to play Rosa?" Cora asked the little girl. [/scrolly]

There was a slight breeze in the air, but overall the day seemed to be fairly warm,"We could play hide-and-seek, or I could bring out Falkor and see if we can beat the ferocious 'dragon',"Miguel suggested, "But of course it is up to you Princess~."[/scrolly]

However, when Miguel spoke about playing hide and seek, she instantly nodded her head. "Yah! Let's play hide and seek!" she grinned suddenly looking at Cora, Miguel, and Felis. "One, two, three not it!" she called. Meanwhile, Felis chuckled a bit to himself seeing Rosa's enthusiasm and glad to know the girl was the way she was. However, as the 'not it' hit the air, he had to fight back the urge to shout 'not it' back. Waiting just a second, he then grinned. "Not it~?" he asked adding a somewhat questioning tone to his voice. [/scrolly]
