BRENDEN

After what seemed like forever, the Tauors was finally beaten, and was knocked out cold. Brenden threw a pokeball at it, as Somber came back to his side, looking a bit beat up, but otherwise she seemed fine. Soon after Somber came back to him, Kite flew down to the ground, landing on his shoulder, letting out a chirp, before Somber looked around, to see if the bird pokemon had seen another pokemon coming at them.

[Maid Melody]

The pokeball sucked the tauros inside it in a beam of red light and it began to rock back and forth...once, twice...DING. The pokeball stopped rocking, the tauros had been caught!

Personality:Rash and foolhardy, this tauros will storm into any battle head on before taking the time to think about its chances of winning. Stubborn as a mule, this tauros wants his way or the high way and will make it known to anybody and everybody else around him. Not one to trust easily, it will take some time before he learns to respect and trust his trainer.

High up in the sky, a large bird type pokemon could be seen flying over the desert ground. After a while, the bird type pokemon landed near a small pool of water and began to drink, keeping an eye open for any unexpected trainers and pokemon as it did so.

BRENDEN

Brenden looked at Somber as the Espeon looked into the sky, her hears picking up the sound of another pokemon. It took her only seconds to see a large bird pokemon on the ground, and looked at Kite, as the smaller bird pokemon, seemed a bit uneasy. Normally Kite didn't back down from anything, but the sheer size of the other bird, was a bit to much for the small Taillow. Somber flicked her tail as she ran forward, not launching an attack yet, "Esp, Espeon." A greeting, as the Espeon wasn't sure if Brenden wanted her to battle the bird or not.

[Maid Melody]

The staraptor looked down at the espeon and saluted to her.
"Star, staraptor." it said in greeting, wondering what the espeon was doing in the desert in the first place.

BRENDEN

Somber's ears flicked when the Staraptor spoke, and flicked her twin tail to Brenden as the young man stood back a little bit. "Esp, Espeon, Esp." She told how she was was helping her trainer gather more pokemon. She knew that this would come down to a battle, but Somber didn't just attack wild pokemon, without letting them know that it was going to be a battle. Unlike other trainers who had there pokemon attack right off the bat, Somber liked her opponent to know about the battle first.

[Maid Melody]

The staraptor sighed and shook its head, battling was the last thing it wanted to do.
"Star, staraptor star...."it sighed in the words of <well if you insist...> before slapping the espeon away with wing attack reluctantly.

BRENDEN

Brenden had been watching Somber speak to the much large bird, and when it attacked it really didn't see like it wanted to. He was never one for forcing pokemon to battle, "Lets let it be Somber." He saw Somber give a nodd, understanding her orders. Ryder would have battled the bird, but Brenden and Ryder were two different people.

Somber backed up before the attack could hit, "Esp, Espeon." Telling the bird that her owner had called off the battle, and gave a small bow to bird pokemon. Somber may be fearless in battle, but she wouldn't force another to fight, "Esp, Esp." This time asking if the bird pokemon knew if there were any other pokemon around here.

[Maid Melody]

The staraptor cocked its head at espeon, surprised that the trainer would call off a battle just like that. Nevertheless, it seemed relieved not to be forced into a fight and nodded, pointing off in the distance a little ways.
"Star, staraptor star."it said in a kind voice, pointing in the direction they should go.

[Ryder]

BRENDEN

Somber gave a nodd, before she flicked her tail to Brenden, and started to walk the way the staraptor had pointed her to. Deeper into the city, she felt the heat hit her back, and make her fur rise. It might have been, because of the battle, but Somber was making sure to keep an eye out for other pokemon. She had protected Brenden most his life, from people who would want to hurt him, so she was a bit overprotive as well. Meanwhile Kite followed her in the sky, glad to be away from the much larger bird, even though it seemed kind.

[Maid Melody]

The sounds of a battle raged on up ahead as two pokemon attacked each other savagely.
"STARAPTOR!!!"
"Lunatone!"

The pokemon continued to beat on each other, oblivious to the fact that there were other pokemon approaching them.

BRENDEN

Brenden was looking at Somber as the Espeon walked, only to see her ears flick forward at the sound of a battle. Following his pokemon, he rounded a coner to see a Lunatone, and a Staraptor fighting each other. Nodding to his pokemon, Kite and Somber rushed forward, Somer taking the Staraptor, and Kite taking the Lunatone. "Somber lets use psybeam, and Kite, lets try air slash." His two pokemon did there attacks, as Kite stayed in the air, above the Lunatone, and Somber right below the Staraptor.

[Maid Melody]

The lunatone was hit by the air slash, surprised at the sudden interruption to the battle with the staraptor. Its earlier dispute forgotten, the lunatone unleashed confusion on the Taillow.

Staraptor was hit by the psybeam, not suspecting an attack from the espeon and glared at Somber.
"STARAPTOR!"it yelled in obvious rage, before flying up high into the sky and diving at the espeon with brave bird.

BRENDEN

Kite felt the attack hit him, but only shoke his head, his wings turning silver, as he unleashed a steel wing on the pokemon. Kite wondered why these two pokemong were fighting, and it was also odd to come across another, Staraptor. He was just glad that Somber was fighting the Staraptor, and not him. Flying fighting flying, didn't have much effect on each other.

Somber saw the bird let out a cry, and went higher into the air. It came back down, using its brave bird attack, and quickly she used morning sun, to get her health back, so she could take the attack. This time Somber used psychic on the Staraptor.

[Maid Melody]

The lunatone hardly felt the steel wing and retaliated immediately with psywave, attempting to knock the taillow back.

The staraptor dodged the psychic easily as it flew up into the air, diving back down once again with yet another brave bird attack.

BRENDEN

This time Kite was able to get out of the way in time, and came back down. Using his speed the Talliow used pursuit on the Lunatone, hoping that it would have more of an effect on it. He may be small, but being a Talliow meant he often took on things way stronger then himself, and only his drive kept him going.

Really, thanks to useing morning sun, thus was able to take the attack again. However, she wanted to try something different this time, when the staraptor came close enough, she jumped up into the air, aiming to land on the back of the large bird pokemon.

The Lunatone was hit by the pursuit and immediately used future sight, before throwing rocks at the taillow using rock throw.

The staraptor was surprised when the espeon landed on its back and started doing fancy aerial tricks in an attempt to get Somber off of its back, even going so far as to slam backwards against rocks and trees.

BRENDEN

Kite looked at the Lunatone, and saw the rocks form, and were thrown at him. Getting hit by one, the tiny bird pokemon landed on the ground. But, pushed himself back up, and glaring at the Lunatone. He flew into the air again, this time using air cutter towards the wild pokemon.

Meanwhile, Somber was on the staraptor and felt the bird starting to freak out. It was hard to hold up, and finally she jumped up into the air, avoiding getting slamed into the rocks or trees. However, before she came down, she formed an iron tail, hoping that the staraptor hadn't moved since he knew her off, and aimed to bring it right down on him, before she hit the ground. But then again, she couldn't see where the bird pokemon had gone, and was depending more on luck.

The lunatone was hit by the air cutter and fell, already beaten up quite a bit by the staraptor earlier. Slowly getting up, the lunatone used psychic in an attempt to throw the taillow against a tree.

The staraptor felt the espeon jump off her back and the next instant later was soaring up into the air, diving at the espeon with yet another brave bird.

BRENDEN

Brenden watched Somber as she jumped off the bird, and again was hit by another bravebird. She could keep fighting, but it was time she had a rest, and he soon recalled her. Opening up another ball, he let out Shock his Mareep, who looked only to happy to be out of her ball. "Shock use Thunderbolt." He watched Shock run over towards the staraptor, her body starting to spark with electricity. Turning his gaze towards Kite now, who seemed to be doing all right on his own. He watched the tiny bird pokemon get hit with the attack, and hit the tree, but got back up. He watched him use Wing attack again.

[Maid Melody]

The staraptor was hit by the thunderbolt and nearly fell from the sky when it hit. It soon corrected itself however and flew high up into the air for another brave bird, foolhardy though it seemed after taking so much damage from the thunderbolt.

The lunatone was hit by the wing attack and winced in pain before aiming a psybeam at the taillow, it wasn't going to be taken down so easily.
