Shadowed Day [Mod]

BRENDEN

It was a hot day out, as the trainer looked around the old city he was now in. It was more in the shadows then out in the desert, and was a welcome next to the heat. Most of the city was covered in shadows, and the sun didn't beat down as hot here. It was old, and starting to fall apart, but then again, everything they had seen here was starting to fall apart. His sister Ryder was somewhere else, the two never spent that much time together, and he often wondered why. They were just used to doing things on there own, and not having to worry about each other. Next to him walked his Talliow, and his Espeon, who seemed to enjoy looking at the city, and the shade it gave. His sister's team was growing, but his was still small, and he would have to add more pokemon to his team, if he wanted to keep up with his sister, who seemed to have a lot of fire type pokemon on her team now.

[Maid Melody]

Somewhere up ahead, a grunt was heard followed by a snort as a pokemon broke through some bushes, charging at the trainer who had dared enter his territory.
"TAAAUUUURRRRROOOOO"he roared, lowering his horns at the young man, pawing at the ground in obvious anger.
With one last ferocious roar, he charged at the trainer, aiming to knock the man off his feet and throw him across the terrain.

BRENDEN

Watching Somber, his attention hadn't been on the pokemon around him, and so when he heard one, he really didn't have time to move out of the way. Being knocked to the ground, he looked up to see a Tauros glaring at him. He got back to his feet to see Somber running back to him, the red gem on her head glowing, and Kite right behind her.

"Espeon!" The pink pokemon wasted no time in jumping into the battle, placing herself in front of Brenden, with Kite at her side. Her eyes glowed as she formed her attack a Psybeam aimed right at the ground pokemon, while Kite flew into the air, waiting for his own opening in an attack.

Brenden had the time now to dust off his pants, that had become covered with dust when he was knocked to the ground. He would have called out an attack, but Somber seemed to be able to hold her own right now, without any help from him.

[Maid Melody]

The tauros immediately turned his attention to the espeon, jumping back as the psybeam attacked the ground at his feet. The tauros roared in outraged, rearing up before charging the espeon with zen headbutt.

[Ryder]

BRENDEN

Somber saw the zen headbutt being used by the Tauros, she then formed her own. The bull pokemon charged, and she waited for him to get close enough. The two attacks hit each other, and it made Somber back up from the force of it. Somber was 100 percent different in battle, then she was when she was just out of her ball. In a battle she was fearless, taking on other pokemon twice her size, and not evening fearing a charging bull. Meanwhile Kite was still up in the sky, letting Somber handle this one, since she didn't seem to need any help.

The tauros shook his head before charging at the espeon with a giga impact. It was determined to force these intruders out of his territory!

BRENDEN

Somber saw the bull charge again, and her tail soon glowed, as she formed an iron tail. As the bull came closer, she turned around jumping into the air, and aiming to hit the bull with her own attack, making both attacks again collide, and she soon fell backwords. Getting back to her feet, she glared at the bull, and her eyes started to glow, as she soon formed a psybeam, aiming it at the Tauros once again.

[Maid Melody]

The tauros was forced backwards a little from the iron tail and stood there, furious, pawing the ground as he roared once again.
"TAAAUUUURRRROOOO"he yelled in outrage, still not moving although the psybeam was coming straight at him; giga impact had taken more of a toll on him then he cared to admit and this made him all the more angry.

When the psybeam hit, the tauros was forced backwards, shaking his head as he glared furiously at the espeon.

BRENDEN

Somber smirked as she looked at the Tauors, that pawed at the ground in his anger. Her small size was a plus, able to move quickly, and get out of the way. Her psybeam hit, but the Tauors didn't attack back, making the Espeon think that it was to weak to fight back that much. Her eyes glowed one more time, as she aimed another psybeam at the pokemon, and heard Kite still in the sky. Somber was strong, and fearless in battle, which sometimes threw Brenden off, since when she was out of battle, she was sweet and caring.

[Maid Melody]

The tauros suddenly charged once again just as the psybeam was aimed toward him, lowering his horns as he readied a horn attack, just barely avoiding the attack as it came straight towards the espeon.

[Ryder]

BRENDEN

The attack missed, and now Somber was right in the way of a horn attack. Getting hit she flew into the air, coming down with a tud, 'Morning sun!' She heard Brenden call out a move, and suddenly the sunlight became strong as she was started to get her strength back, and soon got back to her feet. "Espeon!" Looking at the Tauors, she let her eyes glow, as her twin tail flicked, and she rushed forward, in her mouth a ball formed, and soon she shot off the shadow ball.

[Maid Melody]

The Tauros slid to a stop and shook his head as the sunlight blinded him, making him stop for a moment as his eyes readjusted to the brightness. But that moment was enough for the shadow ball to hit him. Sliding backwards, the tauros cried out in pain, it's adrenaline rush evidentally wearing now that his body was at its limit. Refusing to give up, he pawed the ground and used payback on the espeon, hoping to take it down a notch or two before his strength gave out entirely.

BRENDEN

Somber looked at the Tauors as it stopped, and pawed at the ground. She saw it ready another attack, and was hit by the dark type attack. Sliding across the ground she got back to her feet, thanks to her using morning sun before the attack. Her eyes glowed again, and so did the red gem on her forehead, as she aimed another psybeam at the bull. Her twin tail flicking, as she stared it down, and waited to see what this bull would do next.

The tauros took the psybeam without flinching and charged once again at the espeon, he wasn't going to give up his territory so easily. Lowering his head once again, the tauros aimed another horn attack at the espeon.

BRENDEN

Somber saw the running bull, and this time, thanks to her quick feet got out of the way in time. Her tail again glowed, as it got ready to use its iron tail once again. Whipping around, she dashed towards the Tauors, her tail white, as she jumped, and aimed to smack it into the Tauors. She wasn't sure if it would knock the pokemon out or not, but if she needed more energy to battle, she would just use morning sun again. Besides that dark type move was super effect on her, since she was weak to it.

[Maid Melody]

The iron tail hit the tauros straight on, causing it to back away, dazed before shaking his head and charging at the espeon with payback.

BRENDEN

Somber flicked her twin tail as she glared at the bull, as it kept attacking, after she kept hitting it with her own attacks. Though this time when he used payback she was ready, shooting out a shadow ball, which was able to cancel out most of the attack, though some of the attack did hit her, but she was able to stand her ground. Her eyes once again glowed red, as well as the gem on her forhead, as she aimed another psybeam at the Tauors.

The tauros was hit by the psybeam and all of a sudden felt dizzy. Charging towards the espeon, he suddenly changed directions and slammed into a tree, hitting it again and again as if it had a vendetta against it. The psybeam had evidentally confused the tauros and was now making it appear as if the espeon was the tree.

BRENDEN

Somber smirked as the Tauros was confused, and in turn attack a tree instead of her. She looked at Kite, who just stayed in the air watching this, and she walked closer to the Tauors, again her eyes glowing, and she let out a psybeam, trying for a close attack this time, hoping it would have a stronger effect on the Tauors then her long distance attacks.

[Maid Melody]

The psybeam hit the tauros who was still banging his head against the tree at the time. Now hit from behind, the tauros shook his head, turning around as if to charge at the espeon before suddenly falling to the ground, fainted after long last.
