BRENDEN

Shock flicked one of her ears when she heard the sandstorm die down, but neither her nor Brenden moved. "Mar, Mareep, Mar." She stated that partner meant they worked together, to help each other out. They grew together, and formed friendships, that never died. Wild pokemon often laughed at tamed and caught pokemon, but they didn't know what they were missing out on. The bond with trainer and pokemon was strong, and came with its rewards. You always have someone looking out for you, you didn't have to depend just on yourself.

The charmander seemed to like the sound of this 'partnership' that Shock spoke of and glanced at Brendon before looking back at Shock.
"Char? Charmander char?"it asked curiously, asking if Brenden was a 'partner' like she was describing.

BRENDEN

Shock smiled when the Charmander spoke, "Mar, Mareep." The simple answer saying that he was. She flicked one ear again, seeing that Kite was still resting, not doubt glad to be away from the other large bird pokemon that Brenden had. Shock was glad that she hadn't gotten hurt bad, since Somber had done most of the fighting for her, and she had to only finish it off.

The charmander looked up at Brenden curiously now. It seemed to have calmed down quite a bit after hearing Shock speak about how nice Brenden was and tilted its head to the side.
"Charmander charm" it said in a timid voice as it waved to Brenden, saying hello to him and the rest of his pokemon.

BRENDEN

Shock smiled as Kite came over, looking at the Charmander before greeting it. She heard Brenden great the Charmander as well, as he stayed seated on the ground. She looked at Brenden for a second, and then back to this fire type. "Mareep, Mar, Mareep." She smiled as she asked if the Charmander wanted to come with them, that if it wanted to, that it would be welcomed into the family, and team.

[Maid Melody]

The charmander looked back at Shock and nodded, it was interested in being part of a family and like the sound at having other friends as well.
"Char! Charmander!" it said in a cheerful, quiet voice.

BRENDEN

Brenden looked at Shock, and felt her give him a nudge. He chuckled when his electric lamb, flicked on of her ears, and looked back at the Charmander. He reached into his bag, as Kite soon flew onto his shoulder, and looked at the bag as well. He laughed to himself, and soon held the pokeball out for the Charmader to have. He saw Shock nodd to the fire type pokemon.

The charmander looked at the ball curiously, not exactly sure what to do with it before it looked back at Shock. When the mareep nodded, he reached out and touched the pokeball somewhat hesitantly,pressing the button in the process and getting sucked inside in a beam of red light. The charmander's intial surprise was shown by an intial shake of the pokeball before it settled down and lay still with a DING.

Personality: A little shy, this charmander will take a little time before she warms up to her trainer. She is very friendly and eager to help whenever possible but gets scared easily and will often run behind her trainer, seeking comfort.

BRENDEN

Brenden picked the ball up and put it at his side, as he looked at Shock and Kite. Recalling Kite back into his ball, he looked at Shock, who had gotten to her feet. Getting up himself he looked around, seeing nothing else in the small building he was in, and walked back out into the open. The sun had sunken as he looked around, and Shock seemed a bit uneasy. In the desert when it was dark out, more pokemon seemed to come out, and in the growning darkness it would be hard to see what they were.

Now that the sandstorm had finally ceased, more pokemon had started to wander outside. A Nosepass could be seen watching a Numel play in the sand a short distance away from where Brenden had taken shelter.

BRENDEN

Shock flicked her tail, as she looked around, seeing Numel, and a Nosepass that had come out. Staying close to Brenden, since she was uneasy around the larger rock pokemon. Shock herself was more of talker then a fighter, much like Brenden was. She was glad when he turned his direction away from the two pokemon, and took a glance back at the pokemon just to make sure that they weren't following them.

The numel looked up at Shock and Brenden as they walked on by, curious but then continued to play in the sand under the watchful eye of the Nosepass.

Further up ahead, a lone Miltank lay next to a Rattata underneath a small rock overhang, crooning softly to the scared rat pokemon. The Miltank looked a little beat up, as if it had braved the sandstorm to protect the Rattata.

BRENDEN

Looking at Shock as she was busy looking around, trying to find something. His gaze turned to the Milktank, that was laying with another smaller pokemon. He saw Shock turn her gaze away, and started to walk ahead of him again. Clearly, her mind wasn't on the Milktank, since it was clear that his pokemon wanted nothing to do with it. He followed her, thinking that it was in fact better to leave the Milktank where it was.

Further up ahead, delighted laughter could be heard from just beyond a couple of rocks...

[Ryder]

BRENDEN

Brenden stopped when he heard laughing, and looked down at Shock who was looking ahead of them. She seemed as puzzled as him by the sound, and she quickly ran towars the sound, and he was on her heels. He trusted her hearing better then his, and watched as she lead him to a few rocks, and saw her round the corner, and a few seconds after her, he rounded the corner as well.

Around the corner was a Bonsly riding a Tauros having the time of its life. The Tauros didn't seem to mind, in fact, it seemed to rather enjoy the companionship of the Bonsly. The Tauros trotted around in circles, being careful not to topple the Bonsly.

BRENDEN

Brenden looked at Shock who seemed to relax once it saw what was making the noise. Walking over the Mareep looked at the Tauors, and gave a cry. Mimicking the bull as she trotted around in a circle with it, with a prance to her steps. It made Brenden smile, Shock was always more playful around other pokemon, and just as friendly as Somber was. Speaking of Somber, he wondered how his Espeon was doing right now, if he had to guess, he would say that she was sleeping right now, after that two battles she had just been in.

The Tauros snorted in greeting and continued to prance around while the Bonsly giggled ecstatically.

[Ryder]

BRENDEN

Shock flicked her tail as she looked at the bull pokemon, and the small rock pokemon on top. "Mareep?" Asking them if the wanted to play together. She looked at Brenden hoping that he didn't mind, since it was getting rather late out. No doubt they wouldn't want to be stuck in the middle of the desert in the midde of the night.

[Maid Melody]

The Tauros nodded and bent to let the Bonsly slide down it without getting hurt.

The Bonsly nodded and slid down the Tauros' side and landed in front of Shock.
"Bon! Bonsly bon!"it said happily, indicating that it did indeed wish to play.

Tauros stood after the Bonsly slid off of it and waited to see what the Mareep would do.
