The Garchomp continued forward after landing only a glancing blow to her Flygon foe--granted, a full-body's worth of that, but it managed to move a little out of the way all the same--due to her momentum. As she recovered herself, she waited to see or hear what the Flygon would do before making her move.
...She waited...there was--nothing? She couldn't hear anything but the whistling of the swirling sand, now. She couldn't see the shape of either the Flygon or its human. ...YES! She'd been rather worried for a moment, there, when the Earthquake hit.
The Garchomp looked around, and instead of looking for dark figures in the sand this time, looked for brighter patches. ...Man, it was hard to see in here. A natural sandstorm was one thing, and a Pokémon-induced one rather stronger, but the small area concentrated the sand much denser than normal.
...There! There was something, either a window or--she hoped--the front entrance. ...In fact, it WAS indeed a window, but she managed to wiggle her fins through anyway.
Once she was outside, the sandstorm followed her there, out through the window, leaving the first floor almost entirely clear of sand and the rubble from her desperate escape attempt.

As the sand cleared, the Flygon finally spotted her master sprawled on the stone floor, seemingly unconscious. Zipping over, she began to frantically nudge the girl until she groaned, eyes slowly opening, then narrowing. "What are you DOING!?" Kali hissed venomously, noticing the empty room. "GARCHOMP--..." She winced in pain then, but leered at Kjaerlighet after. Confused but not in a mood to be yelled at, the desert dragon zipped out the window after the Garchomp, chasing her onto the level ground of the rise. It seemed she'd have to fight on instinct, so she didn't want to fight long. Naturally-protected eyes scanning the sandstorm for its source, Kjaer finally caught a bit of movement and lashed out with her ultimate move: Draco Meteor.
Inside, Kali struggled to get as far as to all fours. She swore she must have broken something, but for all the throbbing pain nothing felt particularly weak when she tried to shift her weight, so at least it couldn't have been anything too major.. right? Either way... She had to... get out... to battle...

A loose piece of stone from an upper floor functioned as the Flygon's 'comet,' gaining a purplish glow as it took on energy from the Flygon controlling it. Then, it plummeted down onto the Garchomp, who happened to loop up barely in time to react at ALL--that is, she moved just a smidge out of the way, enough that the stone didn't fall on top of her enough to break ribs or the like.
Even a glancing blow, though, wiped the Dragon unconscious from its own sort of fire.
...Err, wait. The Garchomp was on the edge of fainting, but wasn't quite there yet. However, the rock--now just a regular rock again--HAD pinned her fin down, so she couldn't move.
The sandstorm had been fairly weak after the dragon moved outside, and now died down entirely.
She had been SO CLOSE to escape--she--she should have just dug all the way down the gorge while she had the chance..

Looking at the other dragon, Kjaer waited only to realize Kali still wasn't here. ...Well then. Flitting back inside, she saw the girl had made a little distance toward the window only to fall unconscious again. ...Oh. Well, there was no sense in her having beaten the thing if her trainer wasn't going to do anything about it; Kjaerlighet knew how this whole 'training' thing worked, and couldn't imagine her trainer would've made such a fuss about a Pokemon she just wanted to beat up and leave. Flitting to Kali, then, she took her trainer's bag and went back outside, finding one of the empty... er... Well there were two kinds of balls here? Um... Hm. She wasn't sure what the difference was, but.. well one was blue and red like the Garchomp, so she figured she'd use that one. In a bit of an odd move, the Flygon tossed the ball at her fellow Pokemon, waiting to see just what would happen.

The ball shook once...twice--stopped for a long pause... then finally shook a third time...
... ...DING. FINALLY the noise sounded to denote 'capture complete.'
Name: Species: Garchomp Gender: Female Ability: Sand Veil Personality: She doesn't like any sort of set schedule or plan, preferring to just do what she wants, when she wants to. She doesn't like fighting, either, and avoids battles as much as she can. When she can't, she either uses dirty/sly tactics or tries to end it quickly.

With a very self-pleased smile, Kjaer fluttered over to the ball and picked it up, placing it in Kali's bag. Of course, she'd no idea it would just teleport away in a few moments anyway. With that, she headed back inside and over to her unconscious trainer. ....Now what?
Eh... Kjaer sweatdropped and she thought on it, then finally decided to drag Kali into a corner. At least that way she'd be guarded on two sides, right? Past that, she just sat down next to the girl and waited for her to wake up, keeping her eyes peeled. She'd shoo away anything that got too close, or get her away if something scary came. (Another Garchomp, for instance. She couldn't imagine why the girl had needed two in the first place; three was just... No. From what she'd seen of the human so far, though, she just might go for a third if given the chance...) If something interesting showed up, she may try to wake the girl to see what she wanted to do, but... Well, she'd cross that bridge when she came to it.

A Nidorina peered down the hole in the floor/ceiling (depending on one's point of view), wondering what could have caused it. The piece she was standing on shifted, and as she bounced away, fell completely.
A Natu on the first floor was curious of the immobile human, but knew better than to get close to the Flygon. He then hopped away, hoping to avoid becoming an afternoon snack.
The Nidorina appeared again, this time from the foot of the stairwell, and examined the hole from the bottom this time. She was just so perplexed. It was a very large hole, and she could have SWORN it wasn't there this morning...
She was paying little to no attention to Kjaer and Kali.

Kjaerlighet watched the Pokemon, tempted to just let her go on her way as she didn't seem to notice them. However, she didn't seem the sort to jump them if she did, either, and she seemed rather interested in that hole, so... Taking a last glance at Kali to ensure the girl still looked okay, she took a few steps toward the Nidorina. <Can I help you?>

The Nidorina looked up at the dragon, a little surprised that it spoke to her, but didn't noticeably react. She blinked twice, as she decided whether or not she thought the dragon would be helpful. She hadn't seen anything that looked quite like it here, specifically, but then again the dragon didn't look particularly out of place here, either...
She finally decided on, <'Er, maybe. Have--have you been here long?'>

Kjaerlighet shook her head. <No, just part of today, and I won't be staying long.> she answered truthfully. Then looking up and back to the Nidorina as she spoke, she continued, <I just noticed you looking at that hole...>

She listened, and when the Flygon was done, she responded. <'That's...probably long enough for my purposes. I just--I went up a few flights this morning, and I was pretty certain there wasn't a hole there when I went up. But...that's also something that doesn't just happen overnight, y'know?'> The Nidorina shrugged, not sure how this could be explained. <'And it's a pretty big hole--I mean, it's kinda hard to miss.'>

Kjaer nodded. <Ah. I thought that may be it.> Thinking back on it a bit, she tried to decide for certain if she knew, then nodded again. <I actually came in right after the hole was started, but.. From what I saw, it was a Garchomp Digging from the floor above.> She left out the whole ordeal about her own Earthquake being involved and all that. It technically wasn't important, right?

Doing nothing more than blinking for several seconds, the Nidorina was too surprised for words. <'Really?> she finally asked, <'That--wow, that was either a very stupid or a very desperate move... Obviously, they don't do something like that every day, or the tower would have been gone long ago.'>
...Hm. So, that answered her question, then. <'I guess I'll be off, then. Er--good luck with...whatever it is you were doing here,'> she said, and began to wander off, towards the front entrance.

Kjaerlighet watched her go, wondering whether she should let her. Well.. She wasn't so spectacular as the other Pokemon her trainer had been after, so... Yes, it should be all right.. In fact, Kali would be quite upset if she knew about this, quite wanting such an easy Pokemon to evolve, but as things stood, she was still out cold. Nodding in response, Kjaer returned to Kali's side, just continuing to watch the room.

Some time passed without activity. The next Pokemon that happened by, though, was a Golem. And by 'happened', it was really more like 'fell down the large hole'.
After a loud crash and a grunt of pain, the Golem exclaimed, <'Finally!> Looking around, he saw the entryway--and his face fell. <'Dammit, just when I thought I'd made it out of here.'> Indeed, the doorway seemed too narrow to accommodate his girth.

Kjaer's attention was drawn by the sudden rather loud crash, and she turned to find a rather rare Rock-type. Yes, THIS was worth waking her trainer for. But... Well, maybe she should see what his problem was first? <What's wrong, Mr. Golem?> she asked, taking just a few steps cautiously toward him.

He turned to the Flygon, and responded to her in a slightly irritated, slightly disappointed, and quite a bit crestfallen voice, <'Well y'see, some time 'go mah Trainer 'cided he's gon' release me inter mah 'nat'ral hap'tat.' He 'leased me on the verrry same spot he got me, some sev'ral years 'go. ...Don't seem to be too many Geodude 'round these days. Ehnyhow...'> ...Honestly, it didn't seem like the Golem would stop talking, now that he'd started, until either he'd said his piece, or he was knocked out. <'As I was sayin', he got me int' here in a nice li'l Pok'ball, let me go, 'n' left. But I ain't been able to leave that there secn'd flor since then, 'n' it gets mighty borin', I c'n tell y' that. So then, I hap'n 'pon this hole here, and 'whoop-di-doo! I'm outta here!' me thinks, but then I fall down and hut mah bum only t' find I'm jus' stuck 'n a dif'rent flor, 'cause th' goddam dore's still t' damn small. Hrmph.'> ...Was that all? The grunt at the end seemed to say he was through, but then again, he might just start talking again if he feels like it. He probably wouldn't interrupt someone else talking, though. Hopefully. Maybe? ...Ehh, it might be better to be ready for it.

Kjaerlighet blinked in utter disbelief, though more at his words than the bulk of them. So... Then.. He was a trained Pokemon... Looking to get out of the tower... bored of this life and.... really? Just.... really? Kjaer blinked several times more as she continued to assure herself she had in fact heard correctly. <Mr. Golem...> she started hesitantly. <Would you perhaps be interested in a new trainer to help get you out of here...?>

<'Hm?'> The Golem blinked, noticing Kali only now. <'Oh! I hadn'a seen yer girl thar. Well hot damn, fer shure I'd go wit'cha. I's jus' tryin'a see summin' else than these here walls, but battlin' 'gain--an' not just tiddly-winks or 'em blue thangs that jus' Earth-quaike me right t' hell--hot diggety, I'll shore take y'up on that offer, I say I damn shore will.'>

Oh, yes~! Kjaerlighet hummed, quite pleased with herself, and moved back over to Kali. The Garchomp was one thing, but she didn't want to just go catching all these different Pokemon Kali wouldn't realize she had, and while she did suspect as much, technically she needed to make sure the girl even wanted it. She began to nudge the girl a bit then... to no avail. ...A little harder? A twitch, but not much more.
Kjaer sighed and sweatdropped as she looked back at the Golem with a sheepish expression. <So em... One-.. some..> she corrected, <of those blue things you mentioned sort of got at us earlier and.. Well, they sort of knocked my trainer out before me.. Heh...hehe.. Do you eh... think maybe you could help me wake her up?>
