The pet seemed to make the Pikachu freeze for a moment. He was... surprised... to say the least of it, but allowed the hand and even seemed to nod at it on his fur. "Chu...." he said aloud finally deciding that it would be ok. It'd all be ok....right?
The Growlithe was hit by the Water Pulse and cried out skidding back a bit. However, that was not all that happened, a confusion as an effect from the water seemed to take to the Growlithe, and she started to move as though the ground was not stable under her. Shaking her head to try and clear it, the Growlithe formed a Flamethrower with as much effort as she could muster but only managed to hurt herself in the process. Crying out, she shook her head even more.

Er.. was that a yes? Only one way to be sure, she supposed. Kali brought out a PokeBall and held it to the Pikachu in offer.

The Pikachu saw the pokeball and then looked up at the girl. Taking a step forwards, he slowly put his hand on the ball and was drawn inwards. The pokeball didn't stir once before the ding of capture was heard.

Ability: Static
Personality: Easily thrown into depression by his own thoughts, this Pikachu has a dream to surf and explore other areas, but he thinks so little of himself that he has a hard time believing that he can do these things. He's extremely patient and will wait for hours on end for who knows exactly, and he is actually very good at planning things out. A confidence boost is a good kick for this pokemon, and in time he will grow to trust and respect his trainer.

JASMINE ROSE
Jasmine watched as the pokemon became confuessed, and saw her Cloyster shot out a water gun. The Growlithe seemed to be growing weaker, so she took a chance and tossed a pokeball at it, hoping that it would work.
(Eh I'm so brain dead >.>)

The Growlithe barked irritated as the Water Gun hit her fur again! D< Smacking the pokeball with her tail as it came at her, the Growlithe watched as it suddenly opened and consumed her. The pokeball flailed wildly on the ground before sighing a ding in capture.
Name:
Species: Growlithe
Gender: Female
Ability: Intimidate
Personality: This Growlithe seems to adore taking care of her fur and hates to get dirty or wet. She will often refuse to fight if there is a large chance that she may get herself dirty in the process. She's very much a girly girl and loves flowers, rainbows, and overly pink things.
All was quiet at this point. The sound of the water splashing on shore could only be white noise if anything else. However, as one looked out at the water, one could see something bobbling up and down in the water. What could it be? Not far off towards the land, something suddenly darted behind a tree.

Hmmm? Kali's curiosity couldn't decide what it was more caught by. ..Probably the land thing, given she wasn't here for Water-types. ...But what if it wasn't a Pokemon? "Kjaer, can you fly out and see what that is?" The Flygon followed her gaze out to the bobbling object, then nodded and began to flit out. Meanwhile, Kali headed toward the tree.

She watched as the pokeball shook, but then finally lay still. Recalling her water pokemon, she soon let Hades out. The Jolteon gave himself a shake as he came up to Jasmine glad to see that his trainer was doing good.
"What are we doing?" The yellow pokemon gave himself a shake as he looked around the island. He couldn't see any pokemon out, but he did see a Flygon flying out to the water, and when he looked around more he saw Kali walking over to a tree.

Out in the water, a Chinchou bobbled up and down with the waves as though simply enjoying being there. Seeing the Flygon approach, she waved lightly to it in greeting. Back on land, a Cyndaquil looked out from behind the tree for a few seconds before going zooming to another tree not far off.

Hades flicked an ear when he heard the sound of a pokemon. Turning around he saw something run and hide behind another tree. He gave Jasmine a short nodd before he walked over to the tree where the Cyndaquil was now. Rounding the corner he saw the small fire mouse pokemon, and quickly sat down on the ground. He smiled lightly, "Hello there little Cyndaquil." Half of him expected the fire mouse to run away again, but some part of him hoped that it wouldn't.

... Oh damn, tough choice. Kali had turned back to Kjaer, the dragon's charading and what vague form she could see giving her a pretty good guess of what it was. As Hades approached the Cyndaquil, though, Kali decided to just take the other; she was here for Electric-types anyway, and while she liked Cyndaquil pretty well, an evolved form would be better. Plus a Chinchou might be good for keeping Chii company. Nodding to Kjaer, she headed to the water's edge. The dragon nodded back and looked down at the Chinchou, tilting her head. <Er.. Hey there.>

The Cyndaquil stared at the Jolteon before twitching and forming a sudden Flamethrower straight at the electric pokemon. The plan had been just keep hiding and looking, but feeling himself suddenly threatened, the fire type attacked. The Chinchou out in the water smiled rather happily at the Flygon and waved again. <Hello and how are you today?> she asked in a cheerful voice.

Hades's eyes widened at the sudden attack, but he didn't move out of the way. Taking the flamethrower head on, he only shook his head after. Instead of sitting he moved to a laying position on the ground, but kept his gaze on the fire type the whole time. He wouldn't make any move against the Cyndaquil, and instead just kept that light smile on his face. "I'm not going to hurt you, just to let you know."

Kjaer rubbed her neck a bit. <Oh.. I'm fine?> Was she supposed to be... Kali hadn't really given very specific instructions, and wasn't now either.. She wasn't sure if she was supposed to be bringing the Chinchou in closer to battle or just talking to it... So.. eh... <..Whatcha doin'?>

The Cyndaquil twitched a little as though unsure if this was some sort of trick or not. After a moment, he simply backed up and shook his head defiantly before continuing to back up all the way onto a rock. The Chinchou just smiled back. <M...Just enjoying the sea today. It's rather lovely.>

Hades watched as the little fire mouse backed up from him, and sighed to himself. He didn't move though he wanted the Cyndaquil to have as much room as he wanted, however he did keep talking. "My owner has a Typhlosion on her team already, I'm sure someday soon you'll become a strong Typhlosion."

The Cyndaquil said nothing but raised an eyebrow as though not sure as to why the Jolteon was talking to him. Deciding to back up, the fire type simply continued to make room between himself and the other.

Hades watched as the fire type backed up a bit more, and sighed to himself. "So, why don't you tell me about yourself?" He didn't make any move to get closer to the fire type, thinking that it would just scared it away even more. If he showed that he was no threat to it, it might help make it feel more relaxed.

Hm? Another Chinchou....Well that was always nice to meet. <Oh that's rather interesting. Where do you live?> the Chinchou asked rather pleasantly. The Cyndaquil seemed to relax if just a little but made no comment to speak. Instead, he simply seemed to wait for the Jolteon to continue speaking.

Hades flicked one of his ears when the Cyndaquil relaxed a bit around him. He smiled a bit glad to see this, "Its a nice island you live on here. Must be an awesome sight to see in the winter if you get a nice gentle frost over the glass. Makes were I live seem ugly." Hades had never seen the desert in the winter, but he knew that it would be nothing like what this place would look like in winter.
