Nibbler lurched forward a moment in stifling his laugh. <Why so proud?> One ear suddenly twitched, and he shifted to scratch it with a hind foot idly. <My girl hasn't given me much chance to fight against multiple foes,> he admitted casually. <But I've taken down a strong, rather enraged Gabite in around two minutes.>

[Jay]

The Pineco blinked and then seemed to half laugh. <Not bad then> he answered back. <How about a battle then?> The Venonat sighed a bit to herself.

[Admiral Striker General]

Nibbler grinned and took an offensive stance, but then settled a bit as he looked to the Venonat. <What about her?> he asked, turning back to the Pineco. <When I win, my trainer is going to catch you, you know. I'm pretty sure I heard her talking about Pineco before we came here, even. So is she going to join our battle, or..> He turned to the Venonat to ask her directly. <Would you just want to come with us if your friend is caught, or would you like a chance to get away, or..?>

[Jay]

The Venonat looked very unsure of herself in that moment. However, after a second, she finally seemed to nod. <I'd...come....> she answered back rather quietly. The Pineco looked towards the Venonat before seeming to puff up even more before taking an attack stance. <Heh but neither of us are going anywhere cause I ain't going to lose!> he smirked before forming a Gyro Ball and shooting it towards the rat pokemon.

[Admiral Striker General]

Nibbler cringed at the force of attack but shook it off as it dissipated. <Oh yes, very brave, throwing a sucker punch like that,> he mocked, rolling his eyes and laughing. The violet rat glowed a moment, then suddenly a magnetic plasma replica formed, draining him a bit in the process.

[Jay]

The Pineco seemed to see this and puffed up angry before forming and releasing an Earthquake. The Venonat knew the attack well and seemed to jump and avoid the bulk of it that had spread out towards her.

[Admiral Striker General]

Nibbler jumped atop his Substitute, the doll taking the damage for him. Nyeh... It wouldn't take much more, for sure, starting to flash already, but he'd manage. Meanwhile, the tremor had gotten Kali's attention- the girl having spaced out prior- and she leapt to a defensive stance only to realize what Nibbler seemed to be doing and decide against giving orders. She'd just keep an eye out to recall him if he messed it up, then..

True to Kali's theory, Nibbler followed up by bracing himself with an Endure, then lashing out with a Death Gambit. It should do near half the Pineco's health in damage, if he was guessing right, though probably not quite. That Gyro Ball honestly could barely have hit harder without a type change; the one damn time it actually would have paid not to be notably fast for his species...

[Jay]

The Pineco was hit by the Death Gambit but took the damage with smirk. It had had done had damage due to type, and now it was his turn. The Pineco shook his form before releasing a Revenge attack back at the Ratatta. The Venonat continued to watch without a word.

[Admiral Striker General]

The remainder of the Substitute drew the attack towards it, absorbing the blow before shattering into nothingness. That was all he needed, however; the extremely weakened Rattata called forth the power of an Endeavor to bring the Pineco to his level, then charged with a Quick Attack.

[Jay]

The Pineco took the Endeavor but used Dig right before the Quick Attack in order to avoid the attack. The Venonat, who was accidentally hit instead by the Quick Attack, went flying and hit a tree. Crying out a moment, she shook her head but remained neutral and simply sighed to herself. Now... where was the Pineco?

[Admiral Striker General]

<Sorry...> Nibbler mumbled weakly. Looking around, he smirked, then braced himself with another Endure. Whenever the coward came up, this should keep him clinging to his last ounce of consciousness well enough. Then he simply waited, eyes and ears peeled.

[Jay]

<It's ok....> the Venonat mumbled back. It was silent for a while, yet even in the silence, the tension grew just a bit. A second later, the Pineco burst from the ground and released his Dig for all it was worth.

[Admiral Striker General]

Nibbler's sensitive ears twitched as the bagworm neared the surface, and he quickly turned. Protected by his Endure, he moved to be right above his foe when he came up, latching tight and Biting down.

[Jay]

The Pineco was bitten by the attack and twitched. With such low stamina from the paralleled Ratatta's, he couldn't take any more damage and fainted. The Venonat sighed to herself and said nothing at that point. There really wasn't much to say....

[Admiral Striker General]

Nibbler sat back and sighed. Looking to the Venonat with a gentle smile, he assured her, <Don't worry.. My girl is a really nice home. You'll like her.> Meanwhile, Kali approached, tossing a PokeBall at the Pineco, then looking to the Venonat, wondering what it would do.

Nibbler nodded, and Kali blinked before kneeling down, taking out another ball. "Are.. you going to come along with me, then?" she asked, holding it out in offering.

[Jay]

The Pokeball hit the Pineco and drew him inwards. The ball twitched only once before dinging in capture.

Personality: Rather tough and always looking to make himself stronger, this Pineco works hard every day in order to further himself in everything he does. His best friend is a Venonat, and he'd do anything for her.


The Venonat nodded slowly before poking the ball with one of her feelers and disappearing. The ball didn't move once.

Personality: This Venonat is rather intelligent and rather reserved. She likes to hear stories from others but doesn't like telling her own. She is calm and rather level headed in everything she does. Her best friend is a Pineco.

Kali grinned, very pleased indeed with the events, and recalled Nibbler. Now, off to the Breeding Center! She didn't intend to waste much more time here now that she had what she came for, but did decide to go ahead and take one last look around before heading out.

[Prince Pony Age]

A bit ahead, a Venomoth seemed rather agitated about something. As he noticed Kali approaching, though, he stopped what he was doing and tried to look like nothing was wrong. Wouldn't do to have anything else see him like this, even if it was just a human.

[Admiral Striker General]

...Hm. Well, she'd just caught the Venonat but... Dammit. For all the various moths and butterflies in the Pokemon kingdom, she honestly found Venomoth particularly cute, and... Well, it was right here, and.. good for status affliction. Yes. That was it.. Releasing Helen again, she turned to the Abra a moment and ordered, "Rest." Technically, the Abra was already asleep, but the sleep deepened as she recovered. As she rested, Kali moved toward the Venomoth. "..Hey there."

[Prince Pony Age]

Hrrrrrrm. The Venomoth had been expecting the human to just walk on by. He wasn't honestly certain why; he'd seen a human or so before, and they'd all tried to catch him in one of their unnatural little colored balls. This one wasn't rushing into battle, but he couldn't imagine it would be talking to him if it didn't want to try to capture him too.

He leered at the girl for some moments, then decided he he may as well go back to looking for his lost...little unnatural container of tasty smelling stuff. He'd found the light blue-green capped container on the ground around somewhere, and had picked it up and meant to take it to his little sleeping place. But he dropped it in these plants, and didn't want anything else to find it before he did... Urgh.

As he turned around and continued looking for "his" X SpDef., he tried to look as nonchalant about it as he could.
