At the sight of the Pokemon Center, Aylin's heartbeat picked up pace. She was feeling relieved, but at the same time, worried whether this center was actually still running. Well, there are only one way to find out, right?

As if sensing her trainer's thoughts, the Gothorita allowed herself to speak, though the majority of her attention was still on keeping the Zoroark up. "This place...has it been touched by the war as well?" she wanted to know, frowning slightly. When she lived in the Haunted Grove, she only heard bits and pieces about what was occurring, but she never left the grove so her knowledge was limited to that. It wasn't until Aylin and her new allies filled her in one what basics they knew did she get a bigger picture on what was happening in Era. The Gothorita sincerely hoped that someone--anyone--who could help was present in the Pokemon Center.

[Jay]

The Jynx looked back for a moment and made to nod her head slowly. <It has been shrunken... but not destroyed...> she said quietly before starting to move once more towards it. There was a small light in the pokemon center, and it seemed someone was moving around at least from the window area.

Lucasta took in the Jynx's words thoughtfully, allowing herself a second to look at the Pokemon Center before turning her focus back to the Zoroark. "We are certainly most lucky that it hasn't been destroyed then. Now the only question was whether there was actually still someone inside who could help.

Once the light and the shadow of the figure came into view, Aylin excused herself with a quick, "I'll go on ahead first" and she hurried towards the center. Stopping in front of the doors, she took in a deep breath before poking her head in hopefully.

"Excuse me? Is anyone here? We have an injured Pokemon who needs medical attention."

[Jay]

A pink haired woman, tall and extremely thin even for her frame, turned and smiled towards Aylin before stepping forwards rather quickly. "Who is hurt?" she asked wearing worry on her face that had long since wrinkled her face.

Thank goodness there was someone here! Skipping any introductions, she motioned towards the doors, "A Zoroark. We're bringing her here now. Telekinesis." She added the last part for clarification before moving back towards the doors, spotting her team, the Jynx, and the Zoroark making their way towards them.

"Do...do you think that you can help her?" The girl wanted to know, watching as the pair of psychic Pokemon who carried the Zoroark drew nearer.

[Jay]

The sheer look of pain that reflected from the Zoroark and onto the Nurse's face was nothing less of absolute wrecked pain. "Yes quick," was all she said before quickly turning and then moving towards the back motioning for them to follow. The Jynx slowly moved the Zoroark into the center and then towards the back room the Nurse was leading towards. After a moment, the pink haired woman was patting on a table for the Zoroark to be laid on. The Jynx slowly nodded and began to release the Telekinesis.

The whole group followed after the nurse, looks of worried anticipation plastered over their faces. Once they entered the back room, Lucasta took one look at the table, and then she too began to slowly release her Telekinesis. If all went well, then the Zoroark would be laid down gently.

Aylin stood hesitantly at the door of the room, the rest of her team piled behind her. Not wanting to get in the way, they remained a respectful distance away. "Do you think she'll be okay...?" She wanted to know, her voice hushed.

[Jay]

The Zoroark was set peaceful down onto the table, and the Nurse began to look over her rather quickly and fluidly. Looking back at Aylin, she breathed in and then breathed out. "I have to run a few tests and see the full extent of things," she answered back rather honestly. "If you wouldn't mind... please wait in the waiting room for a bit, and I'll come explain what is going on in time," she stated aloud with a very honest expression.

The girl nodded and offered the nurse a thankful smile. "Please let us know if you need any help or anything. We'd be more than willing to assist." She then motioned for Lucasta and Jynx to follow her and she and the other head towards the waiting room.

She sat down once they had made it to the small room, sitting with her head in her hands. She sighed heavily, and Lucasta regarded her silently, moving over to rest a hand on her arm. "I'm certain she'll be fine." she told her soothingly, "It was a good thing we found her when we did, and that Jynx was there to help us."

Looking up, Aylin smiled at the Gothorita first, and then turned her smile onto the Jynx. "Thank you so much for the help," she said sincerely, abruptly standing up so that she could bow, "If you hadn't come when you did...who knows what we would be doing now, or how the Zoroark would be."

[Jay]

The Jynx smiled towards the young woman understanding the words but unable to truly speak the things she wanted in human. <I'm glad I could help.... that Zoroark is quite well known in Wayward forest> she stated aloud nodding her form as she spoke the words.

[kaiyumi]

Tilting her head to the side, Aylin's regarded the Jynx with a hint of curiosity. "...Well known?" she repeated, looking puzzled, "How so?"

Her Pokemon, meanwhile, were clearly all anxious to hear the results once the nurse had finished the tests. Faris simply sat beside Aylin's seat, seeming as impassive and collected as ever, but the others--even Xiaoli--paced the room and occasionally shot looks towards the examination room whenever they thought they heard something.

[Jay]

<She tries quite hard to take of creatures who are hurt and things within the forest> the Jynx answered back before looking off towards the hallway. <It's terrible to see her hurt like that>

The nurse worked slowly and meticulously. She found several things that would be easy to fix up and others that.... would not so easily be fixed up. After the immediate examination, she set to work on what was needed to keep the Zoroark stable. She'd have to come out in time....

"It's terrible," she agreed, her voice a whisper, "I hope, for everyone's sakes, that she's alright." When Aylin thought about it, it sounded like the Zoroark was almost like an unofficial guardian to the forest. She dedicated her time to helping other Pokemon, and yet now she was the one who needed help. If anything happened to her...

"Let's have faith in the nurse," Lucasta spoke up suddenly, regarding everyone in the room, "All we can do is wait."

[Jay]

An hour passed.....and then thirty minutes... However, fifteen minutes after the thirty minute mark, the nurse finally came out from the back breathing outwards and managing to smile. "She'll be alright," were the first words from the nurse's mouth. "She's resting now, and if all goes well, she'll be completely healed in no time," she smiled lightly. The Jynx all but exploded with happiness and hugged the first thing that was next to her namely Aylin.

Relief broke over the group at the news. Large smiles spread across Faris and Lucasta's faces, while Xiaoli and Nahele whooped (or as much as a Snivy and Eevee could whoop) in excitement. She was okay! The Zoroark was okay!

Aylin, meanwhile, returned the Jynx's hug full force, a grin having replaced her previous look of worry. After a minute of relieved laughter, the girl turned her blue eyes onto the nurse, "Thank you," she told her, her words heartfelt, "I really don't know what we would have done without you. Without either of you." She regarded the Jynx as well when she said this.

[Jay]

"It's good that she got in when she did...." The Nurse Joy smiled rather warmly back at the girl. "Thank you for getting her here," she smiled lightly. The Jynx released the girl and then clapped her hands together happily before slowly relaxing again. The Nurse Joy simply smiled even more.

[kaiyumi]

"I'm glad everything worked out." Now that the initial panic had worn off, Aylin seemed exhausted, rubbing at her eyes wearily. Faris and Xiaoli exchanged a look, and the former moved forward to stand beside the girl in case she needed support. She shot him a thankful smile before looking to the nurse again.

"It's getting late," she admitted softly, "And today has been a great deal of excitement. Would it...would it be okay if we came back tomorrow morning to check up on the Zoroark, just to make sure she's okay? We can ride to the nearest town to rest, and then we can ride back in the morning." She wouldn't be able to leave this place in peace without seeing for herself that the dark Pokemon was on the fast track to recovery.

She thought for a moment, and then said, a little sheepishly, "If you could point us in the direction of the nearest town, that would be wonderful."

"If you wanted to, you could stay in the center for the night. We still have a few rooms," the Nurse smiled a little. "Though the nearest town would be... about Glacial Village, I believe...." she finished with a quiet smile on her face.

Aylin smiled at the offer, turning to look at her team for their opinions. After a moment, she nodded. "That would be wonderful," she said, pausing to stifle a yawn, "It's getting quite chilly out, so it would be nice to stay here for the night if it isn't a bother."

Her attention switched to the Jynx now. "Will you join us?" she wanted to know, wondering if the Jynx would remain with them for now or if she had other duties to attend to outside.

The Nurse nodded her head and then looked towards a flight of stairs. "There's a few rooms upstairs that you can choose from." She smiled lightly. The Jynx seemed to think for a moment on that subject before finally looking towards the girl. <I think I'll stay here and keep an eye on the Zoroark> she smiled with a large smile.
