Faith Prism : Scarlet : Muffy : Champion Faith Leonhard had nothing short of stormed into the bar that night, thrown herself onto the barstool, and pitched a handful of Pen onto the bar so hard it bounced a little. "Strongest you've got," she said in one of those voices that said that the person behind it was having a rough day and needed a drink more than the listener could ever know. Faith was nothing short of pissed. The Rebels had been good to her, and had never minded her brutal way of going about things. The ends justified the means, and some people needed to be beaten and killed for the greater good. When the nobles were knocked off of their pedestals and down in the dirt (or under the dirt in a coffin) everything would be better. Faith got things done quickly and effectively, even if she wasn't overly subtle. Now they thought she did need a to be a little subtle, along with needing someone watching her back. Faith apparently needed a partner. Like hell she did. She should have been flattered that the Rebels considered her valuable enough to want her to not work alone. Instead, she had had to exercise serious self-control not to claw the eyes out of the unlucky sap who had delivered the message, along with information on her newest target. Or rather, half the information. That was the part that she was really stewing over. She was going after a knight called Miguel Castillo, and had been given all the information about who her target was that the Rebels had been able to give. She just didn't know where the Arceus-damned man actually served and could be found. Apparently that vital piece of information was in the hands of her partner. A brilliant move to keep a very headstrong and stubborn woman waiting for someone they didn't want to meet, but extremely frustrating. Delilah. That was the name of her partner. Faith knew who Delilah was, more or less, though questioning her male acquaintances (which was a fancy term for people who drink themselves silly on your tab), had gotten very little real information and more variations on 'I'd hit that' than Faith knew, and had ever wanted to know, existed. Those less drunk and perverted had given Faith the impression of a much less conspicuous assassin than herself who made use of seduction. Apparently, Delilah was good at what she did. Faith could respect that. If she weren't so completely pissed at the whole situation, she may have been almost eager to drink with the woman, since the Rebels, at least the lowlifes she spent time in much less nice bars than this with, seemed lacking in competence and X chromosomes. As it was, Faith was just hoping the woman showed up before she got so drunk that running off in a random direction after Miguel seemed like a smart idea.

Lyall was resisting the urge to yawn. He'd barely gotten any sleep that day given that there had been a rather obnoxious bit of arguing that had gone on in the Black Knights as a few seemed to be more or less bound and determined to 'make it right' again by working through things with the nobles and finding the royal family. It seemed like some sort of cyclical pattern that went through the months now a days, and all Lyall could do was make them make peace till it settled again. Now, he was simply leaning on his own bar watching a few customers play some pool not far off, and that seemed to be the end of it.
After a moment, a 'bang' hit Lyall's ears, and the blue haired bartender stood completely upright as though trying to no convince himself that he had not nearly fallen asleep. The sound of change hitting the counter made his eyes dart over, and Lyall stared for a few seconds at the woman that was now there ordering something extremely strong. After a few seconds, the bartender seemed to force a half smile of sorts and then nodded his head. "Right," was all he answered with before addressing his shelves of different drinks and starting to concoct something. If it was one thing he had learned in the business, it seemed that those that wanted something quick were more likely to get violent if they didn't get it pretty fast. Though, being somewhat short-sighted at the end of it all, Lyall didn't think to question that intoxicating someone while they were angry would only make them more angry or possibly more rash/emotion. Nah, that wasn't why there were bar fights at all. "There, miss," Lyall stated aloud setting the drink then on the bar before picking up the pen with ease and more or less counting it.

[ Delilah ]
This was no good. No good at all. When her superiors had informed Delilah she was to be assigned a partner, she was admittedly a bit intrigued. Then they informed her this partner would be female, and things only went downhill from there. There was a big difference between having a man she could count on to protect her, even if only because his employers ordered it, and a little girl getting in her way or even possibly stealing her light. Granted, having some girl time wasn't exactly a worst-case scenario or anything, and may even be refreshing occasionally. A 'partner', however, was unlikely to be only on occasion, and certainly wouldn't be on her own time.
To make matters worse, she would pretty well be forced to work with the woman, unless she got very lucky and- Faith, was it?- gave up her half of their mission's information right away. All she knew herself was that their target was some noble or other person of import in the Eastern Woods, and that they were to try to intercept him or her during some patrol route away from watchful city eyes. Of course, it was impossible even for her superiors to predict exactly when he or she would be passing through the target point, and she certainly didn't want to just go attacking whatever man, woman, or child happened by in the time frame. Not that she'd be on the job another moment if it were a child, anyway. Even the most dedicated or desperate Rebel had standards.
Neither did her partner sound particularly complementary. Apparently, this was the point, as some people seemed to think she had a problem with getting distracted by certain targets. Gods, she never asked to hurt or kill in the first place, but her first choices of gathering information and manipulation were often scarce, so she had to take what she could get, and Cyn really did most of the dirty work anyway. (Currently, he was hanging around her neck in the form of a pendant.)
The woman sounded plain enough, at least, so perhaps she wouldn't draw too much attention away from her, though any small blonde woman she'd ever known of could turn at least a head or two every now and then simply for possessing those three traits. She'd not really spent much time looking into it, assuming she'd learn what the woman was like when she met her. From the two or three mutual acquaintances she'd briefly questioned, though, Delilah got the impression of someone far less subtle than she, relying on brute force rather than more delicate techniques. The general idea of a powerful punch in a small package was intriguing, of course, and she could respect that the woman had apparently overcome some natural disadvantage, but that didn't mean she'd like her tagging along any more.
As Delilah strolled into the familiar bar, however, her spirits suddenly lifted a bit a the sight of the bartender this evening. As if she needed another challenge at the moment, but this challenge was much more interesting. As she made her way over, she scanned the bar to see if Faith was perhaps there yet, but saw only one small blonde, causing her to wrinkle her nose a bit. That girl didn't look old enough to be in here, let alone on a job of this nature. Well, she would assume not and wait; if it was her, Delilah assumed she would speak up. For now, then, her attention turned back to the well-built man behind the counter. "Well hello, gorgeous," she hummed. "Miss me?"

Faith didn't respond to the bartender. She just glowered at a section of wall behind him until he gave her her drink. The blonde gave an acknowledging nod that, generously, could be considered appreciative. Faith was too angry to try forcing a smile, she knew, and so merely watched him out of the corner of her eye as she picked up her drink; she'd probably given him a Pen or two too much, but she really didn't care, because anyone who had the sense not to ask her how old she was when she was a hair's breadth away from breaking someone's jaw deserved a little extra. Faith drank her order down in nearly a single swallow, leaving only a token splash behind that she gulped half a second later. It burned down her throat and warmed her blood, and she felt something akin to a small smirk twitching at her lips. Luckily for everyone in this place, Faith was not an angry drunk. Well, that wasn't to say that she hadn't been both angry and drunk at the same time in life, which was a frequent enough occurrence, but a good dose of alcohol had never riled her up further. She tossed the same amount she had before on the bar, much less violently this time. "'Nother one."That was around the time the door opened, and someone sashayed in. Faith didn't need to look to know they were sashaying; she knew what footsteps in different styles and at different speeds sounded like, and could tell, after a second, that whoever it was was headed for the counter. It wasn't anyone she knew, either. To the once tiny, sickly girl who had always had to know when it was safe and when pulling her pocketknife would save her, this information was both valuable and effortless to acquire, even while she looked like she was only paying attention to the bartender and her next drink. Only when the footsteps ended and she heard a sultry voice nearby did Faith turn her head, slightly, to take in the woman who had approached the counter. She blinked, once, and narrowed her honey-coloured eyes as she made a small noise of disgust and looked away again. A bit of her straw-coloured hair came loose from her slapdash ponytail and landed in her eyes, and the young woman huffed and swatted it out of the way, too stubborn and pissed off to try to actually fix it. Want to bet that's Delilah? came a little voice at her head, and Faith glanced over again. Dusky skin, wavy, pink-streaked hair, charisma, and honest-to-Arceus curves. The woman flirting with the bartender looked like someone had constructed an opposite of Faith, who was all ghostly skin, straight and dull hair, irritability, and thin as a twig, and the decided, as a cruel joke, to drop her into the bar that night. The closest thing she'd gotten to a physical description out of most of the drunken idiots she spent time with was that Delilah was 'hot as hell,' and while Faith was not an authority on what people found attractive in women due to not being attracted to them, she could see this woman fitting that description. She certainly seemed to think she did, anyway. If it was Delilah, though, that meant Faith should probably say something. Then again, Delilah probably should have said something, if that was really her. Faith thought about this for a moment, then blinked and glanced down at her belt, which was playing host her to pokeballs. One, which she realized was home to her Audino, was beginning to shake. Muffy always did hate to be inside there, preferring to mingle with the masses and distribute hugs. At that moment, she looked up, fixing her eyes on the bartender. She cleared her throat and then raised her voice, which luckily crept a bit closer to her true age than her appearance did. "Hey, you got a 'no pokemon' rule in here?" she asked, holding up the minimized pokeball that was now doing a small jig on her palm. "Got one that hates being cooped up. She's small." Well, 'small' was relative, given that most Audino were about three and a half feet tall, but Muffy was hardly a Charizard. Muffy also tended to embarrass Faith horribly every time she was outside, but she'd rather be reigning in her too-friendly Audino than trying to keep her from breaking out of her pokeball. She was the closest to figuring out how to out of all of Faith's pokemon, and it was really only a matter of time. Murphy's Law would dictate that it would be tonight, so why not ask?

For a moment, Lyall blinked surprised to see that the drink had been gulped so fast and that Faithw as asking for another one. He hesitated a moment before finally simply shrugging a bit to himself and then preparing yet another drink. As he did so, Lyall's ears caught the sound of someone else entering the bar, yet he didn't look up just yet and was more ro less focused on getting the concoction right. In truth, he really did pride himself with being able to make drinks well, though Lyall preferred the sort of gratification that came when his customer drank rather than openly asking for it so to speak. In a half second, he'd finished and set the drink again before the girl-.....erhm... woman?
Lyall blinked a moment realizing he hadn't really given the woman a full inspection before he had made her first drink but now that he was, in fact, looking at her, he found himself staring for a few seconds. Well.. she'd sounded mature, right? And it wasn't like the law was going to pin him on just a small case when there was a ton of other things that they could try and set on him. Though then again... wasn't there a criminal a while back who got away with murder but didn't get away with tax evasion ehm... never mind.
After a moment, the blue haired man stepped back a bit and crossed his arms and looked sideways finding that there was a rather familiar face now addressing him. "Well hey there," was all he answered back with before he found that another set of eyes was staring at him, and it seemed that the woman from previous was now asking him about... pokemon? "Well, as long as it ain't a Salamence or something," he answered back with a general light shrug of sorts. "It's fine by me." And as long as you don't start a fight and start to using it.... came as an after thought, yet Lyall didn't speak on that part just yet. That was pretty much the law of the bar as far as Lyall saw it anyways... Just don't fight, and you'll be good.. Anything else...eh... it was fine too.

If Faith noticed at all that her appearance was studied, she didn't show it. That was probably for the best. Faith raised an eyebrow at the bartender, smirking a little in mirth as he gave his answer. A Salamence? Seriously? She'd said 'small.' The mental image of a housecat-sized dragon crossed her mind, and she very nearly laughed. Instead, she sipped her second drink, the urgency to get alcohol into her system having passed with the gulping of the first, and dropped the pokeball without looking at it. Muffy blinked as she materialized and quickly shook her head as the bright sparkles that came with her entrance faded to a faint glitter. The shiny Audino quickly looked left and right, not recognizing the bar as one of her trainer's regular places, then caught sight of Faith on the barstool. "Di!" she squeaked in her trilling voice, reaching up with her stubby arms like a child asking to be picked up. She squeaked a couple more times as Faith ignored her, continuing to sip her drink, and then drooped and sighed. The blonde woman gave her pokemon a quick, sideways glance, then reached out to pat her head once while keeping her eyes trained on her beverage. Muffy perked back up, eyes shining. Affection from her trainer achieved, she took a better look at the other people in the bar. Upon realizing that the blue-haired man she caught sight of first was behind a counter and thus currently unhuggable, the Audino saw the other woman nearby. Muffy immediately waddled toward her with a gleeful cry, arms outstretched and smiling. She looked like a nice lady, and she was sitting alone like Faith was, so she must need a hug, Muffy decided. Faith just gave her happy little pokemon another glance and raised her glass. Maybe she did need a little more alcohol in her blood, especially if the woman her Audino had just fallen in love with really was Delilah. Before the idea of actually saying something to confirm that could come across her mind a second time, Faith drained her glass and put it back on the counter with, hopefully, enough of a sound to alert the bartender. In the spirit of using fewer words each time to order, Faith just tried to catch the man's eye and mimed a drinking motion, while placing another pile of coins in front of her. Faith wondered idly if she'd get away with letting Prism out, too. The Parasect was hardly a Salamence, but bugs tended to make other people uncomfortable, for some unfathomable reason. That actually made her want to let Prism out all the more, but she'd leave the mushroom-carrying insect in reserve just in case a barfight broke out. This place was nicer than most of the bars Faith spent her time getting falling-over drunk in, but fights always seemed to break out (that were completely not her fault, honest) no matter where, and she refused to die from a stab wound in a barfight in some Party Central place that's 'strongest' barely made a dent, simply on principle.

Lyall eyed the pokemon that had come out from the pokeball but then relaxed considerably when he saw what exactly it was. An Audino... They were innocent enough pokemon as it was given what quite a lot of them did, and indeed they were small creature. Though... this one's color was a bit... different from most, and the general entrance of it was enough to make the bartender notice that it was shiny. Heh, a rare nurse then so to speak.
After a few seconds, the blue haired man found himself mentally chuckling a little before looking around the bar a bit more or less keeping an eye on the others that were still in there in case there was somehow a negative reaction. However, those that were playing pool continued on rather obliviously, and everything seemed fine still. After this initial sweep of sorts, Lyall realized that he was being stared at by the blond woman and then found his eye drop to her drink before he simply looked up again, smiled, and took said drink before refilling it rather methodically before setting it in front of her once more.
After a moment, the blue haired man looked sideways and noticed that the Audino was apparently going off to hug... well heh...

[ Delilah ] Delilah found herself feeling just a bit huffy as the little blonde stole the man's attention. Now how was she ever supposed to seduce him when people kept getting in the way? Mmm, well.. She'd get him eventually. He definitely didn't seem gay or uninterested, so it was just a matter of time.. Possibly alcohol. Hm.. How much would it take to get a good, seasoned bartender drunk, she wondered. Most didn't tend to drink on the clock, but surely he put those skills to use on his own time at least occasionally... Heh.. That could be a fun night indeed.. The woman was eventually brought out of this daydream with a start as she was suddenly wrapped in a pair if pudgy little arms. She'd jumped a bit, but upon looking down and the fluffy little Audino, she actually smiled rather brightly. Well now.. "Well hello there, sweetie~" She- he? ... it- wasn't pink, but the shimmering flecks in its fur were still pretty cute. ... How did she not have an Audino yet? Perhaps it was the differing ears and the fact that the tail wasn't generally visible in pictures, but seeing this one up close there was no doubt that it was definitely rather rabbit-like. Eh, she'd have to fix that soon. Turning to gorgeous man working the bar, Delilah almost pouted, "Lance, darling. Give me some little treat for this baby, will you?" Granted, she should probably ask the Pokemon's trainer, but... Eh, who could resist that face? Anyway, this might force the blonde to be the first to speak. Then she could see if it really was the woman she was waiting for. [/blockquote]

Faith just picked up her drink with a nod and sipped it, not really caring about anything until the other woman started cooing over Muffy. The blonde glanced sideways at them, watching her pokemon at the height of her snuggly sweetness with a deadpan expression.
Muffy was momentarily upset at making the lady jump, but the smile and friendly greeting made the shiny Audino trill a cheerful hello, and then...a treat? For her? Muffy squealed and hopped up and down, clapping her stubby paws before giving the lady another hug. She didn't care if the blue-haired man even gave the lady a treat to give her. Muffy was just happy that the lady was a nice lady and liked her.
Faith smacked her forehead. "Oh, for the love of..." she mumbled, taking another sip of her drink. She was not drunk enough for this. She also needed a 'please do not feed the pokemon' sign to put around that goofy little purple blob's neck. Deciding that she could only ignore the could-be-Delilah woman for so long, Faith called over, "She's not a freaking plush toy, ya know. She can snap a guy in half."
Muffy looked back her trainer, looking a little distressed and confused. Was Faith angry? Why was she angry? Muffy didn't want Faith to be angry. She wanted her to be happy. Faith was right that Muffy could snap people in half, along with zap them, set them on fire, spit poison at them and all sorts of other nasty things, but what did have to do with anything? "Dii...?"

Upon hearing the request from Delilah, Lyall blinked a moment. A treat? She did know that this place-... well... After a few seconds, the blue haired man found himself looking under the bar wondering if there was any sort of snack or something that he could hand over or something. However, in another moment, it seemed that the woman who owned the Audino had spoken. Snap a guy in half.... Well that certainly didn't ask for a fight. Lyall mentally face/palmed wondering why he had said yes to allowing a pokemon in his bar, yet after a moment, he simply sighed and grinned to himself before shaking his head a little. If there was a fight, he'd just have Red and Blue separate and make peace between the two parties.
Looking down under his bar again, Lyall bent down and finally pulled out what appeared to be some sort of jar of candy. It was far from pokemon food, but then again, Lyall rarely served pokemon if at all that he could remember. Setting it on the table in front of himself, the blue haired man looked at it for a few seconds. Ah yes... Lyall himself didn't have a sweet tooth, but it certainly did pacify some people here and there especially rather violent drunks for some reason or another. Looking over towards Faith first, Lyall then looked at Delilah and then back to Faith again. Finally settling for staring mid way between the two women, Lyall half grinned again. "How about this?" he finally asked more or less asking both of the two women at that point so as not to offend either of them, hopefully.

[ Delilah ] Lilah just sniffed a bit at the blonde's reprimand. "Oh foo, just because she could doesn't mean she doesn't need lovings. Isn't that right baby?" She placed a hand on each side of the purple plush rabbit's large head and began to scratch lightly under and just behind each ear. Her voice went rather higher and distorted as she leaned in and cooed, "You'z jussa big cuddle-bunny aren'tchu sweetiepie?<3"As Lance pulled out the candy, she sat back up and grinned. Dropping back to her normal sultry tone, she purred, "Oh that looks wonderful. Thank you, love." Glancing through the jar, she drew out a softer piece, not sure how well an Audino would do with hard candy, and held it up. She didn't want to be completely rude, however, at least not since the woman had already jumped her. "We'd better ask your trainer though. Wouldn't want you to snap me in half, now, would we~" She gave a deep laugh, smirking a bit. Not that a gust of wind wasn't likely to snap that tiny little thing in half, but she could have fun with this. [/blockquote]

Faith stiffened. Was she implying...? She gets plenty of 'lovings' without your help, you bitch, she hissed mentally, but clamped down on the thought before it could exit her mouth and merely growled at the display. It didn't help that Muffy practically melted into the petting, letting out a contented cooing sound.
For some reason, the bartender's attempt to appease them both just pissed her off even more, and Faith grabbed her drink and gulped down what was left of it as the other woman pulled out a candy and Muffy's eyes lit up at the sight of the treat.
At the indirect asking of permission, Faith just glared, honey-coloured eyes narrowing to slits at the laughter. Muffy drooped a little at the look. She really didn't care about the candy that much. She just didn't want Faith to be mad at her. Faith noticed the drooping and her gaze softened a little, before she looked away and stared hard at her empty glass.
"You wanna deal with my Audino hyped up on sugar? Be my freaking guest, Delilah." Her gaze snapped to the bartender. "Need another drink over here." Faith didn't even realize what she'd called the other woman.

.-. ....Damn it. Lyall mentally sighed as it seemed that things weren't going to settle down any time soon. Mentally sighing a little, he simply nodded to Faith and picked up Faith's glass. However, after that moment, the blue haired man actually came to the realization that the woman had stated the other's name. Oh... so they knew each other...? Erhm? After a few seconds, he simply smiled and decided to wait it out. Refilling the drink and then setting it down before Faith, Lyal backed up a bit and then began to clean the counters rather slowly but keeping at least a partial glance upwards.

[ Delilah ] Even as the woman had started on 'be my', Delilah had smiled sweetly and unwrapped the little fruit chew to hand the Audino. At her last word, however, the look was dropped for one of shock, then nonchalance spiced with light annoyance. "So I take it you are Faith, then?" She just assumed their superiors had given the girl a description of her, and something about the combination of dark skin and hair, gold-flecked-amethyst eyes, and blazing-ass pink streaks was hard to miss, never mind if they'd given her any details on her build. Putting on a rather odd, light smirk, the woman commented, "You should make yourself more noticeable, sweetie. Blending with the crowd only works when you're trying to hide." She could take that however she wanted, really. An 'I wondered if that was you', a compliment on her stealth, a 'damn you're boring', or anything in between. [/blockquote]

Faith only realized what she'd said when Delilah replied. Well, good thing she wasn't just some random woman getting under her skin, then. Or not so good, since that meant hitting her was off-limits. She nodded in response to the question, not even looking over, and went to sip her drink.
Faith very nearly did a spit-take at what Delilah said next. As it was, she swallowed and then gave her new partner a look that could flash-freeze a fire pokemon. "Don't call me sweetie," she hissed before glaring at her drink. "And I'm not interested in fashion advice." In her mind, the sooner Delilah realized that Faith didn't want to be best friends, the better.
Muffy, meanwhile, was chewing happily at the piece of candy she'd been given, sitting on the bar floor and smiling in blissful obliviousness to her trainer's shortening temper. Candy! Yay!

Lyall blinked again. So they didn't know each other... but then had heard of one another? Yes, that seemed plausible enough, and after a moment, Lyall mentally kicked himself wondering why he hadn't thought that one up earlier. After a few seconds, he simply found his eyes shifting from Delilah to Faith as he continued to clean the counters. "Ah... did you want anything, by the way?" he asked with a cool smirk towards Delilah. Anything aside from giving a random pokemon a candy.

[ Delilah ] Delilah took this as quite an opportunity to ignore Faith's outburst completely. though it was pretty hard to resist playing with that fashion assumption. She leaned on the counter and rested her cheek against one hand. Grinning alluringly, she purred, "Now Lancer, baby, you should know by now what I want, but this is hardly the time to start considering it, don't you think~?" Actually, she'd hardly have a problem dragging him to a back room right then and there, but that didn't make half so good a tease for either of her intended targets. Not that she thought he suddenly was anyway. In normal cases, she wasn't the type to be patient, but Lance... Well, they were both pretty active rebels, and she was here pretty often anyway, and dear gods even now she could hardly resist staring at that body. It was far from the best she'd seen, but that didn't change that it was still very nice. So if she was going to see him often enough one way or the other, why not keep trying for that? If nothing else, she was bound to catch him feeling lonely eventually. [/blockquote]

Faith nearly choked on the next sip of her drink and let out a sound that could be considered a kind of strangled squeak as a blush creeped across her cheeks. She pushed the glass away, getting the feeling that now that she'd made contact with Delilah, she wasn't going to be able to drink safely. Besides, even with Faith's freakish tolerance for alcohol, stopping half-way through her fourth 'strong' drink was probably a good idea.
"Freaking hell..." Faith mumbled, trying to make it sound purely made of growling annoyance. It still came out sounding a bit squeaky, however, and the blush wasn't leaving. She shot an irritated look at Delilah, her voice returning to its more usual pitch and tone as she asked, "Do you do that all the time, or am I just that lucky?" She had no doubt what the answer was; she was beginning to see what all those drooling morons were going on about.
Muffy, finished with her treat, immediately had a thought. "Di!" she squeaked, trying to get the nice lady's attention. She pointed up at the candy jar, then at Faith, then gave the lady a pair of puppy-eyes. Candy would make Faith feel better, right?

A half laugh came form Lyall, and he simply grinned and shook his head a bit. At Faith's comment, Lyall just forced himself not to laugh again. Mmmm he sensed an interesting night of work, but Lyall'd still wait it out and see what it fully came out to. "Heh, let me rephrase than, do you want a drink?" he asked after Faith had finished her own question.

[ Delilah ] Delilah just gave the man a wry smirk as he laughed, holding back the laugh at Faith's expense. He was such a nice guy, most of the time.. She almost wondered why his type always had to be so hard to get, but then she imagined that was probably most of what made them such nice guys. Straightening up a bit but still slightly leaning on the counter, she shrugged nonchalantly. "Mm, one of my usuals. Surprise me." Of course that probably meant 'give me the most expensive', but she didn't get anything too pricey often enough to consider it a usual. Mostly just things of mediocre to moderate strength and a little bit girly. She liked to enjoy more than just the buzz, after all. It was about this time she finally noticed the Audino's requesting chirps, blinking a bit in mild confusion. "Hm? What is it, cuddlebunny?" She followed the points a few rounds, however, and then smirked again. "Ah, I see." Taking the jar with one hand, she slid and tipped it toward Faith, keeping ahold of one edge. "On me?" she teased. As if the whole jar might equal the cost of two drinks, maybe not even one, depending. Through all this, Faith's discomfort with her flirting went completely ignored. [/blockquote]
