His... She hadn't even asked.. and... His real name. Kali blushed so hard she could hear the blood rushing a bit in her ears, barely able to force herself to concentrate on the rest of his answer or continue following him. Fortunately, mention of his trauma with Nathan did calm her a good bit, with that low counteracting her high and all. At a mention of his 'humor', she gave a weak smirk. "Heh.. Hilarious," she teased dryly. Kali took in a deep breath and let out a long sigh as she savored over the rest of it. "...Yuan.." she murmured, tasting the name, and finding a soft smile and subtle giddiness arising at saying his real name for the first time after so very long. "It's... really nice..." Taking his hand again, she admitted, "Though... I'll probably always like Leon better... Heh." That's what she'd known him as all this time, after all... The name she'd fallen in love with. Not that any of them changed the man behind them. As Kali thought longer on it, she couldn't help but return to thoughts of Nathan and Amina and just how many scars Leon still carried. Kali often wished she could do something-... Or, well, do more, as when she'd give herself credit she realized she had already helped more than anyone else. But still.. At the same time, she felt a little guilty. He was finally opening up completely, if uncomfortably, and about so much. Kali wished she could give him something, too. ...Like their first meeting, heh.. When they'd taken turns asking questions. That day... heh. She'd found him easy enough on the eyes... though nowhere near so nigh-perfect as he looked to her now. And she hadn't trusted him so far as she could throw him. With her thoughts over that first conversation, she suddenly remembered something she hadn't in a long while, and something that used to bother her greatly: his 'little girl'. Briefly, Kali considered asking, but thinking on it more in context, a slow smirk came to her face now as she realized he'd almost definitely meant the lab. Heh.. That manipulative bastard<3 That was the day she'd met Nibbler as well... and Hatter, when she thought about it. (Of course she'd known Leon only hours longer than that bastard.) And his damned evil- All of a sudden, every muscle in her body tensed for just a moment as everything completely clicked. That... just may... This... could kill the entire day... but if it didn't.... Kali stopped walking, forcing her master to as well. "When I was a kid, I was attacked by a Shadow Rattata." Even as the words escaped her, she glanced around to see no one was eavesdropping, though that alone wouldn't have meant anything anyway. "It honestly could have killed me.. That's where that scar on my neck is from." She could remember specifically showing him only once- when they'd gotten her first Shadow- but she was sure he must have noticed it often enough as much as he loved tormenting her kissing there. "When Ardos explained why it attacked and taught me to be more careful, I told myself that made it better.. but it didn't. "I really did become fascinated by it all, but I was still terribly afraid of Rattata, and of Shadows, and to a point even aggressive Pokemon in general, however I tried to pretend I wasn't." She paused for a few moments here as she debated whether or not to continue or just leave it with a story. ..Of course, when was the last time Kali backed down from something? "Seeing Nibbler ready to take on all our bigger Pokemon.. His courage honestly inspired as much as amused me," she said with a smirk. "And since I've had him, I've had nothing but love for the furry little bastards." Not that Leon wasn't more than aware of this, with her slowly growing armada of rodents wandering his lab.. Hehe... "The next time a Pokemon directly attacked me... I froze.. and ended up crying like an infant in the middle of the lab.." She sweatdropped a little. "Not that there's anything not-nerve-wracking about a bloodthirsty flying beast literally as tall as me, but.. I still knew I should have handled it better. I was so embarrassed when you saw me cry, and the way you reacted to it..." He'd not exactly been sympathetic.. Heh. "I told myself I'd never let it happen again. And since then..." She smirked once more. "You may not believe some of the Pokemon I've been nearly-mauled by." She'd come home with injuries after a hunt often enough he just might, but she'd rarely admitted what was wrong at all, and never let them stop her from working or complained about the specifics. ..Hehe..<3 Now that she thought about it, he may well have noticed more than she realized, comparing her ordeals to his own early lab days. "Point is, though, I can defend myself now. From a lot bigger and stronger things than Rattata, even. Since being around so many more Shadows, I'm not afraid of them anymore, either. And between everything, I look back now, and... I know if it had bitten deeper or been a bit bigger or had longer to work, I'd probably be dead.. but honestly, it doesn't seem that bad." Taking a deep breath, she hesitated a little further. After a few moments, she started again rather more softly and with less confidence, "Leon... ... I love you." Just in case he hadn't gotten it the first seven thousand times. "If I didn't, I wouldn't say this. But..." She began faltering even a bit more. "Just... if... well..." She swallowed, forcing the rest of her thought. "Do you think it's possible... If... If you... wentthroughsomethingsimilaragain- or I did-and it wasn't so bad as you remember.....? ..Do you think.. maybe that... maybe it could help ease the pain from the first time?" After that, he simply found himself looking forwards and continuing to walk. However, when Kali stopped walking, Yue found himself inevitably stop walking as well. As Kali explained the shadow Rattata, Yue bit the side of his mouth and raised his eyebrow. As she went adn continued to talk on the rat pokemon, Yue found himself frowning a little... Though... -.\ no never mind... stupid rat.... Ok.. fine... he'd give it credit or whatever. He finally settled with something of a 'heh'. As she went on again and talked about Hatter's bat, Yue deadpanned a little frowning now that he was thinking about it. As if he was not ready enough for this odd trip down memory lane, Yue found himself dumbfounded again by Kali explaining she'd nearly been mauled by pokemon. He'd.... he had seen her come home with a few injuries... but he'd always assumed it was just.. but... but still.... As Kali moved onto the point, Yue moved off the rather... unnerving idea that she could have been killed..... Getting at the purpose of this story, Yue raised an eyebrow thinking that it was over. However, when Kali went on and.... ............. ................... ........................................... Yue had found himself desperately resisting the urge to rip away right then and there and yell about that not even being.. being.....being.... And after a moment, he killed that initial fear in him and just stood there looking increasingly paler by the second. His face had become flat without any sort of expression at all, yet his eye simply stared at Kali. After a moment, he forced a laugh from his throat, yet that died before he could even get out a full laugh making it sound more like a cough rather than a laugh. "I'd rather... not....and.....I.. don't..." he finally sighed keeping his face blank and his voice as flat as possible. "C-c.....can we talk about th...th...this l-later....?" Yue forced a smile, yet even that was faltering as his form ever so slightly shook. "C-come on... we still have to see the castle, right?" he asked managing to force his voice up. [/scrolly]

Oh please, pleeeaaase don't be mad, I didn't, er I just, but... She swallowed hard and held back a few urges to whimper as time went on. Finally, just before she was ready to explode into apology and beg for forgiveness, Leon began to respond, easing her nerves even as she began to feel worse in a different way. When he was done, she swiftly wrapped her arms around him and hugged tight. "I'm sorry.." she sighed. "You know I only want to help." Mostly.. She.. honestly may have fantasized a little bit about it before, though she was perfectly aware in those times it was completely romanticized and likely extremely inaccurate. The suggestion was only out of desire to help, anyway, even if not the whole thought; she'd never suggest it over her silly daydreaming. "We won't talk about it again if you don't want to." ...Well. Damn. That did actually possibly kill one other question she'd had, depending on if the two were related. That.. would actually be the last major thing, now, wouldn't it? Well.. Really major, then. There were certainly still some gaps, but nothing she couldn't assume the bare basics behind. Taking her place back at his side and squeezing his hand, she answered, "Let's get going, then~" The rest of the walk went by quietly as she allowed him time to settle down, and before she knew it, they were standing at the entrance to the castle courtyard. Looking around, Kali recognized a few of the trees and things she'd found some of her Pokemon in a while back. Suddenly smirking a bit, she dropped his hand and began walking down the path a bit. "On my story earlier... Right about..." She looked around a bit more and moved to a specific point to stop before turning back to him. "Here. Is where my Shiny Zangoose attacked me," she told him with a small laugh. "That was back when I came here just before.. well.." She grinned something between sly and loving. It gave him time to settle down again and relax remembering that he still had a few other things to do that day as well, and before he even realized it, they were at the castle. As Kali stopped and then explained the point of the Zangoose attack, the white haired man blinked a little. Pokemon rarely attacked him, and it was usually more his own doing that initiated a fight rather than anything else. "Did it just come out of nowhere or something?" he finally asked raising an eyebrow. [/scrolly]

"Actually, it was sleeping and I started trying to battle it. But it leapt right past Hana and Stormy and went for me. Never have figured out if she was really smart or has really poor aim. Hehe~" Kali grinned and scanned the courtyard again. "Actually... About there," she pointed, "is where I found my Shiny Pichu. And there," she went on, pointing to each spot down the path when its turn came, "I found my Shiny Burmy. And there my Shiny Clefairy. And I already said here. And then.." She pointed up to a window that was still broken up on the wall of the castle. Of course, she didn't know if it had been completely in-tact before, but did know it was broken at least somewhat when she'd seen. "One of my Dragonite broke out that window." It seemed that she attracted shinies and dragons....and got attacked... by them...... Yue couldn't decide it it was luck or the reverse of it. After a moment, he simply nodded his head. "Ah...very eventful" he answered back. "M...." he found himself looking around for the place he had scooped up Noah but couldn't quite remember off hand. "I've only caught a few pokemon here." "Just past that wall I caught my Shiny Ledyba and my other Dragonite. And Reyna of course. Hehe~" Yes.. Very eventful indeed. But they didn't come to hear her talk, neh? They came to explore~ Moving back to her master and taking his hand, she began to lead the way into the castle. "Any of those you caught here come with an interesting story?" In the meantime, she was on the lookout for any signs of staircases, or new interesting Pokemon of course. So far, there had just been a few common little things off in the distance outside, and now that she looked what appeared from the size to be a few Starly or Pidove- maybe Chatot- sat up on some ledge near the ceiling, too heavily shadowed for Kali to say exactly at a glance. In the same light.. one or more might be Shiny? ..Ah well. ...Actually, even though this castle seemed to be the origin of all things sparkly, Kali resolved that even if she spied a Shiny she would not pursue it unless it came very close to them on its own or was something she really, really wanted. Today was romantic-outing-with-Leon day, after all, not ignore-him-for-pretty-things day. Heh..[/scrolly]	[atrb=style,border:0 black none;]

"He... seems to be very distraught around females and asked if I could help... I really wasn't the best one to ask." After a moment, he chuckled a little thinking of Guy's reactions sadly also remembering that he, Yue Leon Alias, didn't have the best reactions to such either.....Pushing off that subject rather quickly, Yue went back to the Gallade. Guy hadn't changed much even given the time and instead even seemed to prefer to hide in his pokeball rather than do anything else. "And I snagged up a Togepi here as well," Yue smiled a little thinking of his Noah. Lately, he'd been too busy with work to have the distractions of baby pokemon around which left the bulk of them to their pokeballs. However, Noah had gotten quite a bit of attention especially on words, and the Togepi had started to almost talk in fluid sentences... if a bunch of breaks in between words but still.... Yue... really doubted that he'd ever shadow any of his baby pokemon... They were far too... well... what was the word... oh well..... ".............. I... want more," he said suddenly thinking of the fact that a good portion of his baby pokemon had evolved into well... larger pokemon. "Baby pokemon that is..." he finally clarified after another second or two. [/scrolly]

So that was why that Gallade had seemed to avoid her the few times she'd seen him in the lab. Oh but you're a regular Casanova, Kali thought, suppressing a small chuckle. And Togepi were good; she'd found one here herself, and a Togetic. At the seemingly random outburst about wanting 'more', Kali blushed slightly as she wondered, but as soon as he clarrified a sudden subtle panic overtook her mind. ...Really? And like a full minute after she'd decided she wasn't going to hunt today? In attempt to get the subject off that, she decided to respond to his first comment instead. "I think you do just fine..~" she chimed lightly with a soft smile which a few moments later became a smirk. "Getting lost in lab work is rather easy though," he answered back raising an index finger before lowering it again. "Especially when one gets on a roll so to speak..." Then again, with any little piece finished, it seemed to set Yue on a bigger roll than before, and he knew it. After a moment he chuckled again. "Though I can get out of it for special occasions," he half smiled looking sideways at Kali again. Mmmm Happy..... came to Yue's mind as he wondered if the Blissey had managed to get what he had asked of her done. [/scrolly]

Squeezing his hand tighter, she swung around in front of him and wrapped her free arm up around his neck to kiss him a moment. "I like being special~" she laughed lightly. "You know we're not getting any exploring down by just standing here now...." he stated with a smile on his face before moving his finger away and taking one of her hands again and slowly starting to walk again. "Mmm, I guess," she murmured as sly as bitter before giving him a small smirk (or perhaps a light grimace). She wasn't sure why he still seemed so skittish about her kisses most of the time, even just a light peck.. It didn't give her high hopes, but she was determined to keep trying no matter what. In time, he'd give in to everything... Just hopefully less time than not. As they set off, then, they eventually left the large entryway for a hallway with five or six doors spread out along it and a corner that turned out of site at the end. After a few seconds, he simply shrugged and stepped forwards to take hold of the door handle pulling it open to show what appeared to be a very bare room. On one side of the room, what appeared to be a a wardrobe that was missing a door while the other door was half closed. On the other side of the room, what appeared to be a very small table was shoved very close to the wall. If one looked closer, it appeared extremely scratched up and battered. After a moment of hesitation, Yue statred into the room and started to walk it rather slowly. [/scrolly]

While she kept right on after her master, it did spark a wistful "Think we might find Narnia around here~? Hehe." Wouldn't that be fun? ...They could be the king and queen together. Mmm. And then it could be law to respect their dear Shadows, and their dream could be fulfilled without Leon working so hard, and then they'd have many Shadows and lots of time together... Ah yes~ ...When Kali thought about it, Narnia wouldn't need to be part of that equation, would it? "...I want to be queen," she suddenly sighed. Grinning, she mock-commanded, "It's my birthday! Ah... the children's books..... He had been about to say something about falling into the wardrobe but stopped a moment when Kali stated that she wanted to be queen. After a few seconds, he crossed his arms and set his bent index finger on his chin and his thumb on his chin. "We are in a castle," he muttered to himself after a few seconds before a fuller grin came to his lips. Taking a suddenly full deep bow of sorts, Yue remained there for a few seconds as he started to speak. "But M'lady, do you not remember that you are indeed queen?" he asked after a moment trying rather hard not to laugh as he said the words and managing to keep an almost knightly air about himself. Standing up fully again, the white haired man stood almost at a knightly attention. "And I am the captain of the shadow knights," he smirked. This... was insanely silly... yet at the same time oddly fun.... oddly. [/scrolly]

She stumbled forward as her knees buckled as much as humanly possible without dropping her entirely and she doubled over, holding herself as she giggled like a five-year-old. Despite her greatest efforts, the actually-seventeen-year-old could not stop for nearly a minute, finally just forcing herself to calm down and straighten up enough to get out a poor and still slightly giggly, "My Lord, you-" She paused for another small laugh before managing the rest. "You shouldn't speak such silly things. It's unbecoming of the Shadow king~" ..Heh.. Just like in that dream... Kali continued to chuckle a bit, but while that memory made her blush, it did help tone down giddiness. ...Of course, she realized she'd also just vaguely implied something else that would be possible for him to get without knowing about that dream, with went ahead and dampened the rest of her laughing.[/scrolly]	[atrb=style,border:0 black none;]

Walking to the second door, he took hold of the door knob only to find that the door was locked. "What is this?" he asked still keeping the slightly air of sorts around him.
