With the look of one determined to make things right but uncertain in one's ability to do so, she began to rummage through her bag. "Oh where ever did I put that key!" she exclaimed. Finally, with a content smile, she pulled out a PokeBall and announced, "Ah, here it is~" In another moment, her Weavile was released. "Good Sir Siavush," she plead dramatically, "Might you assist us in the unlocking of this dreadful door?" Siavush, in turn, rather deadpanned. He... was a Pickpocket, not a lockpick... After a few moments passed, however, Kali coughed under her breath and made a small gesture to help him get the idea, and Siavush lit with first realization and then pride. AH, he could do that~ Rearing back a clawed hand, he simply swung out and Brick Broke the knob, shattering most of it and part of the door there, and causing the door to swing open. Upon seeing it, he simply smirked a bit and watched as the door was broken down. After a few seconds, he stepped forwards and pushed the door open only to stand to the side and smile a little. "Only after you, my queen," he answered back with an almost cheesy grin. His eye did slide away a little and into the actual room giving it one sweep before looking back at Kali. It seemed that it was ... wait what?... Was this even a... Yue stopped in mid motion upon finding that he wasn't even staring at a room so much as.. another hallway. Now... where did this go? However, Leon wouldn't stop for the moment and instead turned his head back again. [/scrolly]

Hidden up on one of the shelves lining the hallway, a small Starly had perched herself and was now resting. Not too far down the hall a rather dirty looking Cottonee was leaning against the wall almost looking as if it were scrubbing it. Neither pokemon had stopped what they were doing to find out what the busting of the door had been about. Besides that, the place was rather quiet.

"Why thank you, my King~" she chimed lightly. Heading in, she didn't even notice the Starly, but the Cottonee caught her eye. "..Heh. Looks like-.. Er.." She put her regal air back on. "It seems some of the servants are still hard at work keeping our quarters liveable," she teased. Really, a Cottonee wasn't of much interest, but... It evolved by Stone, right? A Whimsicott.. However, neither were really that interesting as far as he was concerned. After a few seconds, he looked sideways at Kali. "It appears so indeed," he answered back with ease. "And we shall leave them to it then, shall we not?" he asked after a moment trying very hard to keep the regal air of sorts that he was now more or less playing wit. [/scrolly]

"Of course," she almost scoffed, looking away from the Pokemon rather indignantly. "What would the subjects think if they saw us associating with such lowly peasants?" Not that those lowly peasants wouldn't also be their subjects. After a few moments, Kali gave a light sigh. "We should really rule Era.." she told him. "Give it a few months to build our Shadow army.. Who would stop us?" They could have... everything. Shaking his head a little, he stepped forwards and started to walk rather slowly down the hallway. "I have no intention to rule..." he answered back managing to regain somewhat of a half smile. "I'd rather work on the work left to me and continue that way. Ruling would take away from the things I'm happy with..." A somewhat softer sort of smile came to his face as he looked sideways at Kali. [/scrolly]

Laughing softly as a blush rose, she eventually replied, "I love you too.." Of course, he was right. Kali wanted power, not responsibility or extra duties. Leadership came with all of it or nothing. Whether or not one did a particularly good JOB with all was another story, but of course, it was obvious what this country did to poor monarchs. After a bit, she smirked slightly and shrugged. "Well, let's make sure Adrian gets it then. We'll let her handle all the ruling and we can just bask- and work," she almost teased- "here at the top, mm~?"[/scrolly]	[atrb=style,border:0 black none;]

"Actually as long as we play our cards right, we can stay at the top no matter who gets the crown," he answered back with an easy laugh of sorts. If something happened to Adrian or if someone else took up the crown, Yue already knew that he'd simply make a shadow appeal of sorts and form an alliance there to make things continue to run smoothly for the lab. 'They' would stay on top. Not the lab, not the project, but the two of them~ "This is true.." she murmured softly, continuing to search. Another door revealed a small closet, but while a small bag on on shelf caught her eye, Kali decided to ignore it, shutting it back in. The next door, however, was rather larger, and opened to a much bigger hallway, which seemed to open into a much larger area a ways down, though Kali couldn't be sure just yet. "Hey, this way," she called, motioning for him to follow as she went on. As Kali came down the hall to the place it opened up.... Well speak of the top~! she thought, face lighting up. "I do believe we've found the throne room?" Or some other massive sprawling room with a huge fancy chair bolted down to a dais. It didn't feel like they'd come too far, but when she thought about it she realized they'd already been heading in for a while.[/scrolly]	[atrb=style,border:0 black none;]

Even as Kali called in a certain direction, he hadn't increased his pace in the least but kept in sight at least. Upon finally seeing how the hallway opened up, Yue found himself smirking a little. As Kali confirmed his own thoughts on the matter, Yue half laughed and then fully laughed. "I do believe we have," he answered back before starting towards the chair more or less inspecting it rather than instantly sitting down in it. The first thought that oddly worked its way into his mind was that such a thing could trigger some sort of trap... Now... that was slightly silly... who would set up traps after the place had already been raided? After a few seconds, Yue pushed these silly thoughts away and slowly circled the chair once. When at last she though she'd caught on, she gave a light laugh. "I don't think it's going to bite, you know." Just in case, she took off her bag and promptly dropped it down on the seat. When nothing happened, Kali waited a few moments to be sure, then took and set it aside before half-coax/half-pushing him down into the chair and kneeling. "All hail the king of Shadows~" she laughed and a wicked grin. Of course, the formality lasted only a few moments before she was suddenly in his lap, nuzzling close and giggling madly.[/scrolly]	[atrb=style,border:0 black none;]

After a moment, he found himself chuckling a little and shaking his head a bit before wrapping his arms around her form. "Come now, don't forget the queen of Shadows," he answered back rather easily. "Oh, I don't intend to~" she purred, leaning back and kissing/nibbling at his neck a bit. Of course, the large, ornamental throne was far more than her rail-thin master could fill, and if Kali had wanted she probably could have even squeezed in beside him. Instead, however, she got up just a bit to reposition, moving to straddle his lap with a knee in the seat on either side. From here, she could look into his eye, wrapping her arms loosely around his neck as she did so and raising an eyebrow somewhat playfully. Kali erupted into a fit of involuntary giggles as she recoiled and cringed and writhed in poor attempts to get away. "Dooon't," she whined. Thi-..this did NOT help her plans, not even one-.. Eventually Kali decided to just get up, but as she pulled away, she suddenly lost her balance, instead falling backwards off him and the throne to land with a loud thud on her back. In less than a second, he was on his feet and had moved over towards her. "You ok?" he asked managing to keep the bulk of the rather quick worry that had jumped into his veins. [/scrolly]

"Ass.." she muttered, though after the sound definitely did start sounding more laugh-like. Groaning a bit, she pushed herself up to a sitting position. "I will-" She suddenly twitched hard. "Be.." Kali shuddered then as she realized exactly how much dust and dirt she'd just landed in. Ugh.. She was almost dying to get it all off, but eventually opted for the far less spastic route of just brushing off her bare arms and not worrying about her clothes at the moment. Things like this could really make one grateful that the only poor lighting came from high windows and a few cracks in the ceiling. .... "That's better.." she half-whispered. A persistent thought came back to mind, and for a few moments after, Kali started debating whether or not to bring it up yet. Really, though.. She wanted to ask some place special. This wasn't what she'd originally imagined, but what fit that better than the throne room of a fricking country? At last, she began by half-sighing, "Thank you.." She looked up to him with adoring eyes; tears may or may not have been barely forming. "You've made this day- and my whole life since meeting you- so wonderful..." She wrapped her arms around him as well, then cuddled closer if possible. "I know you've already done so much, but..." Deep breath.. She did her best to fight down the butterflies that were currently threatening to rip their way right out of her.
