When the dark/steel type complied, the white haired man simply nodded his head to himself and then proceeded to follow the pokemon with Kali. [/scrolly]

The Pawniard led the way to the roof without hesitation, rather pleased that he had been able to win the Audino over after all. When they reached the room he turned to the Audino and gently removed his arm from her grasp, careful not to accidentally cut her.
"Pardon mi corazon, but I must speak with la señorita." he said in a quiet voice before moving walking over to Kali.

The Audino blushed at the Pawniard's words and nodded, waiting to see what would happen next.

The Pawniard stood in front of Kali and bowed, one sword/arm across his chest,"Señorita, I owe you a debt of gratitude...because of you, I was able to win mi corazon. Pray, is there anything I can do for you señorita."he asked in a sincere voice before standing up once again and waiting for Kali to respond.

The Audino blinked at what the Pawniard did and found herself almost leering at Kali...she had better not be trying to steal him! D< That girl had practically tried to kill him before right? So then why was the Pawniard bowing to Kali of all things?! Sighing, the Audino decided just to wait and see what would become of the odd gesture...but if the girl so much as laid a hand on her knight...well...just wait and see...

She could ask him to come with her now.. but... Eh. She would never in ten thousand years admit it aloud, but deep down Kali couldn't help but feel there was something very wrong about Shadowing a Pokemon who was both humanoid and capable of speech. Not to mention a certain soft spot she had for lovers. The Altaria had been only to breed and for her own collection, particularly the female, and they weren't likely to ever face a battlefield in any condition. There would be others.. and.. "Nah, I think we're fine.." she answered softly. "Just make sure to take care of her, all right? ...And never stop making her feel special. ..But don't smother her. Just read her mind and neither annoy nor neglect her, mmkay~?" She giggled a bit, probably seeming a little too happy about that thought. Honestly she was intending to mess with him a bit now, but just walked off after, leaving the Pawniard to wonder what was so funny. Rejoining her own beloved, Kali looked up to him with a soft smile. The Pawniard bowed once again to Kali,"Si señorita, I will do as you say."he replied as Kali began to giggle. Standing up, the Pawniard did indeed look a tad bit thrown off but quickly shook this off. Walking over to the Audino, the Pawniard once again took the Audino's arm and walked away with her to some deeper part of the castle.

"Not sure," he finally answered back before looking up the stairs towards the roof. "We can get a good enough idea by where the sun is when we get up," he finally answered back before half smiling and starting up the stairs. [/scrolly]

"Yeah.." Was she changing, she wondered. It went against everything they did- everything she'd ever thought- to sympathize so heavily with Pokemon. ..Eh. She was just in a dreamy mood today, that was all... Five minutes later, Kali was beginning to wonder if these stairs would ever end. "I don't suppose there was a tower that didn't have an endless circular staircase he could've shown us..?" she whined. Kali was used to traveling, but stairs were a little different than flat terrain. However, at Kali's words, he stopped a moment and brought a hand to his chin looking upwards to see just how much father they had to go upwards. "Want a ride?" was finally what came from Yue. He could probably manage a piggyback rather easily... maybe... probably... possibly....maybe..... [/scrolly]

After a few moments, she laughed, determined to keep up an appearance of strength. "Not that an extra opportunity to cling to you isn't appealing, but I think I'll manage." Grinning a bit, she teased, "Certainly more used to exercise than you, after all." Of course, he was also naturally ridiculously strong for his size, and while Kali had pretty good endurance for light work and could lift a surprising amount to be so small as long as she didn't have to hold it long or carry it far, she'd always been a bit weak overall, but that wasn't the issue here.[/scrolly]	[atrb=style,border:0 black none;]

"True," was all he answered back with a general ease. He did spend all day in the lab, for the most part, which, aside from some of the work that required a bit of muscles here and there, wasn't much of a work out at all. "We're already three fourths of the way up, so it shouldn't be much longer," he chuckled a little to himself on this. [/scrolly]

Another few minutes, and they found themselves before the last set of doors on the staircase, one of which was half-rotted and falling off the hinges, the other a bit beat up but managing. Pushing the doors open rather easily, the master and apprentice came upon yet another small hallway with just a few doors. Blinking a bit at this, Kali supposed she didn't really expect it to be one big room, realistically, wide as most of the towers seemed from outside, and she shrugged lightly. Taking to the nearest door- smaller and in better shape than the ones they'd just come through- she entered into a large room that seemed to be... perhaps a parlor of sorts?.. with several pieces of furniture still lying around. "Heh.. Guess not many people have bothered to head this deep for looting," she mused aloud.[/scrolly]	[atrb=style,border:0 black none;]

"It would seem so..." he answered back eying a sofa that seemed almost perfectly in tact for one reason or another. It wasn't like they needed anything at the lab, but it was still mildly interesting, really. After a few seconds, Yue's eye shifted over towards a small window on the far wall. Starting over to it, the white haired man stared out and seemed to not move for a few seconds. "It can't be more than eleven from the looks of it," he finally stated before turning around again. It seems later." A few moments later, she suddenly realized she was probably in such a general daze- and had gotten worn out from the stairs so quickly, she told herself- because she was just tired.. "Alright," was the simple answer back before he moved back out of the room, held open the door for Kali till she walked out, then started out himself fully before coming to the hallway again. Walking a few feet, Yue came to another door and pushed this one open rather easily. What appeared to be a bedroom of some sort came into view. A rather intact four poster bed was pushed up against one wall while a couch was off to one side. A larger closest of sorts wa soff to the side. Looking towards the opposite wall where yet another window was, Yue stared for a few seconds finding that the window was a bit bigger than the first but not by much. [/scrolly]

Kali's eyes lit with intrigue at this sight, and after a moment she gave him a sideways glance accompanied by a sly grin. "You think that bed could've belonged to some manner of royalty at one point?" Moving in front of him and taking both his hands in hers, she pressed close against him and nuzzled softly, purring a bit. "I don't suppose you'd like to help desecrate a remnant of oppression?" she teased, as if Kali gave even the slightest damn about Eran politics outside where she and Leon would stand if someone else ever took over. She was aware even the occasional horrid pickup lines she'd teased him with way back when they'd met weren't as bad as this but.. "Now you're just being cheesy," he answered back with a half smirk on his face before shaking his head a little but retaining a smile. "The window still isn't large... shall we check another room?" he asked half grinning. [/scrolly]

"Well just completely kill it why don'tcha.." Despite the bitter mumbling, she was quickly laughing, nuzzling against him a bit more before nodding with a "Sounds good.." The next room had several windows and rather less remaining contents, but was overall pretty boring. In the next, however, there were only a few chairs, a now-three-legged table (a fourth leg laying nearby with teeth-marks covering it, apparently the work of a Pokemon), and a rather ornate but broken mirror hanging on a wall. However, as opposed to any windows, it seemed something- maybe another Dragonite by the size, though perhaps that was only Kali's past experience trying to correlate the two things- had created a rather gaping hole between the wall and the outside of the castle. The gray-haired girl grinned at the sight. "This will work.." she almost laughed. Tugging at his arm, she sat against the innermost wall across from it and pulled him down beside her, snuggling close. Mmm... After about half a minute like this, Kali realized she just almost wanted to fall asleep, mentally shaking her head a bit. Maybe... Eh, they should talk some more.. That would be pleasant and engaging. Once she'd taken a few moments to think, Kali smirked and asked rather suddenly, "So, why 26 of all ages you could be?"[/scrolly]	[atrb=style,border:0 black none;]

He was still staring at it even as they had sat down. At Kali's question, Yue hesitated a moment unsure of exactly why he did it before finally coming up with an easy enough answer. It made enough sense in his mind, anyways. "It's neither young nor old," he answered back shrugging his shoulders a little. "And the number is easy being even." he half chuckled but then shook his head a little. [/scrolly]

Quickly enough, though, this brought a rather more worrisome thought to mind, and her mood fell as it began to plague her as many times before, though she'd always put off asking for some reason or other. At the moment, though, she couldn't find one. "Only sometimes," he answered back before falling silent. "Mostly just when you push things sometimes and certain single instances," he sighed a little before shrugging his shoulders a little. Once he'd finished, Kali slowly smiled, pulling his arm over her and nuzzling against his chest. "Good." As the look slowly turned into a smirk, she looked up at him and added. "If I wasn't immature sometimes I'd never be able to put up with you." She nudged his chin a bit with her head at the last word and laughed lightly. How a man his age and so intelligent could act five years old so often was one mystery she may never solve. Moving on to look for related subjects on this tangent, she eventually came to, "So what else really irks you, anyway? Besides putting up with kids and my stubborn ass," she teased. He so rarely let on when he was truly angry, it was hard to tell, even living with him for so long. She could think of a lot of specific incidents, but the most common factor with those could generally be traced back to her being stubborn. After a few moments, she gave an almost-innocent look and added, "You know, so I can be sure not to do them and absolutely not to learn how to push your buttons."
