[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] Water! It was everywhere! Well… ok the beach wasn’t so bad. Sen at least didn’t mind it too much. There was a lot of open space and if someone out here actually recognized him from the posters he at least didn’t have to run into the water. Ada seemed to be enjoying her as well. Her head was held up high as trotted along in front of him allowing the breeze to brush across her face. Sen had to admit, the smell of the wind and touch of it on his skin did feel rather nice. He didn’t really feel like going for a swim but that was ok. The reason he was here had nothing to do with swimming. He was looking for a Surskit. Not the full form, not a rare type or a big pokemon or… well yah, you get the point. He wanted the little water spider. Why? Because they were so damn cool! He had always wanted one. Perhaps he could find some sort of rare or powerful pokemon along the way but that would only be a bonus. [/scrolly] [bg=4f2a66]

[Jay]

Walking slowly down the beach, a Vaporeon could be seen with a rather somber expression on his face. Not far off form that, a Krokorok could be seen eying the water pokemon with a wary expression on his face for some reason or another. It seemed that he was a tad worried that the water pokemon was going to squirt him or something. Farther off in the shallows, a Dratini could be seen playing in the water.

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] Sen froze for a moment as he spotted something slowly walking down the beach. Was it… a Vaporeon? It was. It was so beautiful! Sen just had… wait, a Krokorok? Cool! Oh man, both the pokemon were worth catching. Maybe he could… Where had Ada gone? The bug pokemon had noticed the Dratini and was making her way towards it while Sen had been distracted. She knew it was rare and she knew Sen would want it. She hadn’t even noticed the other pokemon. She had been right. As Sen’s gaze fell on the Dratini he couldn’t help but feel like he was going to fall over. So many really cool pokemon! Non of them were what he had been looking for, but heck… he couldn’t just let a rare pokemon pass him by, could he? Ada would take care of the Dratini… but then who would he go after first? Plum would be good against the Krokorok and Seth would do very well against the Vaporeon… Actually Plum would do well verse them both but she wasn’t much of a battler. Without much more hesitation, Sen grabbed for a Pokeball and tossed it into the air. With a flash of light, a Raichu, with rather shinny fur, appeared. The first thing the mouse pokemon did was comb his hair back with his paw before looking at the Vaporeon. “Rai?” He asked before Sen spoke up. “Battle time Seth! Use Thunderbolt!” The quicker he took down the Vaporeon the faster he could get to the Krokorok and Dratini before going back to what he was originally looking for. Seth nodded and without any hesitation the Raichu’s body began to glow yellow with electricity. A huge bolt of thunder erupted from his body and aimed straight for the water pokemon. Meanwhile Ada had half walked into the water a few feet away from the Dratini. She had let out a small hiss to say hello doing her very best not to frighten it. It was hard for the spider… after all, she was a big scary bug… [/scrolly] [bg=4f2a66]

The Vaporeon was far from ready to take the attack, and as the electricity surged through him, he cried out startled before staggering and falling over. Forcing himself up after a moment, the water type seemed to stare at the Raichu. Thankfully Vaporeon by nature had quite a bit of stamina. Drawing from the water around him, the Vaporeon released a Muddy Water attack and shot it at the Raichu in retaliation, though, for some reason, it was rather half-hearted at the end of it.

The Krokorok stared at the fighting for a good few seconds before suddenly using a Dig move to disappear under the ground. The last thing he wanted at the moment was to get in the middle of a fight.

The Dratini turned rather innocently and stared for a few seconds at the other pokemon. <Hi!> she smiled after a few moments. <Want to play?>

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] Seth toppled over in the sand when the mud smacked him right in the face and knocked him over. He shouldn’t have been at all surprised to see that coming but it had worked none the less. “Do another Thunderbolt!” Sen called out to the Raichu causing the little guy to pull himself back up onto his feet. Once again a jolt of electricity went bursting towards the Vaporeon. Play? Well… It was fire… <Well… Ummm… How?> Ada asked the Dratini, blinking her eyes a little. It felt so odd having the cool water tickling her feet. [/scrolly] [bg=4f2a66]

[Jay]

The electricity once again surged through the Vaporeon, and once more he cringed in pain. This was not good. He couldn't take this many super effective attacks. Using an Aqua Ring before then Digging under the ground, the water type disappeared from view.

The Dratini stared rather stunned. How could anyone not know how to play? o3o? After a few seconds, she whipped her tail and lightly splashed Ada. <Like this silly!> she giggled lightly.

[Lady Leaf]

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] “That’s not good,” Sen commented as he watched the Vaporeon disappear in the sand. “Chu?” The Raichu asked as he looked around the sand, to spot where the water type had gone. “Charge up Seth” Sen called out. It would raised the special defence and at lest get his next electric attack ready. Seth took the advice and curled his tiny body a bit as he let the electricity Charge his body. Ada was shocked when the Dratini splashed her and for a moment all she could do was stand there stunned. After a moment she finally smiled as well as a giant spider could and lifted her many feet to splash the Dratini back. [/scrolly] [bg=4f2a66]

[Jay]

In another moment, the Vaporeon broke through the ground and unleashed a Dig attack on the Raichu as hard as he could at that point. He was extremely tense at that moment in time knowing that he'd probably faint from another electrical attack if he didn't down the Raichu then and there.

The Dratini burst into a fit of giggles and grinned at Ada before splashing back again. Despite how childish it could seem, the Dratini was having quite a fun time of it and didn't really care what anyone else that might have seen thought of it.

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] Raichu took the hit from the dig attack, finding himself being knocked over into the sand and rolling a bit. It took him a moment, but he soon rose from the ground. It had been a critical hit, causing it to do a bit more damage than a normal ground attack would have done. Luckily, the Raichu still had a pretty good resistance against ground type attacks. “Quick! Thunderbolt!” Sen called out, wanting to catch the Vaporeon before she had a chance to use another dig attack. Without hesitation, Seth closed his eyes and let out another Thunderbolt attack towards the water type. Ada continued to splash back at the Dratini, having a lot more fun playing in the water with the dragon type than she had expected. It wasn’t until she had moved deep enough into the water that her belly touched one of the waves that she stopped playing. A sudden fear of being swept away by the water hit her and she quickly skittered back to the more shallow water before turning to the Dratini. <That was close.> She stated, <Aren’t you afraid of being dragged out into the sea?> [/scrolly] [bg=4f2a66]

The Vaporeon was hit by the electricity and cried out before finally falling sideways and fainting. It seemed that fro all his tries, he was unable to continue battling. Ah, oh well......

The Dratini blinked rather slowly and turned her head to one side. <Afraid? But the sea is life giving...> she stated having stopped playing at least for the moment to look out towards it. <Momma used to say that everything came from the sea and that we have to respect that> she nodded her head to the tune of her own words believing every word of them as she stated them.

Hopefully he would still find the small water spider he was looking for though. With a rather happy grin, Sen pulled out an empty ultra ball and tossed it towards the Vaporeon. He then turned to Seth, giving the pokemon a nod that meant, ‘Good job’ before returning him to his poke ball. <I can respect that> Ada told the Dratini as she too looked out at the water, <But as life giving as the sea may be, it can also take a life just as fast. I’m not meant for the water anymore.” She drank it to live but she couldn’t swim and she couldn’t breath under it. [/scrolly] [bg=4f2a66]

The Vaporeon was drawn into the pokeball, and the ball slowly rang in capture.

Ability: Water Absorb
Personality: A bit of a downer outside of battle and outside of battles, this Vaporeon thinks very low of himself quite often. He often puts him at the very base of all species and tends to treat others as though they were a good deal higher than him in all respects even if they actually weren't. He has a habit of saying 'I'm sorry' quite a lot and will often worry greatly if he's bothering someone even if he's not leading him to apologize over and over again to the point of stupidity. However, for whatever reason, inside battle, he becomes a force to be reckoned with, shoving all his previous worries and fears aside in a moment's notice in order to take the challenge that was put to him. However, as soon as a battle is done, he is back to his usual self .


The Dratini giggled a littl eand nodded her head. <Ah well~ Each to her own, neh?> she asked lightly.

Farther off in the water, a Horsea was swimming with a Poliwag just under the top of the water. A Barboach was farther off in the water, yet that seemed to be it for the pokemon in the immediate area.

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] Sen tucked the pokeball back into his belt after the capture and began scanning the area for where ever Ada had gone off to. She was still with the Dratini so he made his way over to her them, ignoring the other pokemon around. <Have you lived in the water all your life?> Ada asked the Dratini before looking up and spotting Sen, <This is Sen. He is my partner.> She claimed looking back to the Dratini with a rather big smile. Or, as big of a smile that a Ariados could give. [/scrolly] [bg=4f2a66]

The Dratini nodded her head at Ada's question, and as she found herself looking up at Sen, the small dragon grinned. <Hi!> she giggled leaning up in the water before waving her tail at him in a general greeting of sorts. Ah a partner o3o that was cool!

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] Sen grinned and waved back down at the Dratini, “Why hello.” He replied back, pretty sure that was around what the tiny dragon type had said to him. <I’ve never been in the sea before. Been all over Era though. Sen and I travel all over the place. See all we can see. Though the desert is kind of scary too.> Ok, maybe she was just a big fraidy cat. [/scrolly] [bg=4f2a66]

.....? The Dratini turned her head to one side confused. <What's a desert?> she finally asked back rather confused as to what the word meant. It sounded kind of like dessert so maybe it was some place you ate desserts? But then why would anyone not like that?

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] Ada blinked her eyes, kind of shocked that the Dratini didn’t know what a desert was. But then, it made sense. She had said she lived in the sea all her life. <It’s a really hot, sandy land. A lot of fire type pokemon and stuff live there. I didn’t like it much because I don’t really like fire. I like the forests where its green and lush and pretty. Or the human cities. They are really busy but there is so much to climb there.> [/scrolly] [bg=4f2a66]

o3o Climb? The Dratini....well.... ok so she noted that the Ariados could climb well enough, that was true. Heh, they really were made for different places, it seemed. After a few seconds, she just giggled and nodded her head in some sort of understanding before looking at Sen. Taking a bit of the water, she splashed both trainer and his spider again before giggling lightly.

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] Sen instantly began to laugh, stumbling back a bit in the water as the Dratini began to splash him. Ada this time instantly began to prance her legs in the water causing it to splash all over the place. “Ok, ok, you are both getting me soaked.” Sen laughed, continuing to take a few steps back so he was out of range of the water. The Dratini giggled to herself and seemed to be having quite a bit of fun splashing before she finally calmed and seemed to lean back in the water. <Hehehehehe, your trainer is funny> she giggled a bit more to Ada.
