The birds started to let up when the pokemon left and began to go back to whatever they were doing. It appeared they didn't want to fight, but simply wanted the lights off so they could enjoy the dark.
The Woobat was just flying around them in the dark when a low light was suddenly released. It started to fly away when the light was released, and went up to the ceiling to hide. It seemed rather normal... besides the fact that it was almost entirely white.

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] Lance relaxed a bit when he saw that the pokemon in the room was nothing more than a Woobat. An oddly coloured Woobat but useless none the less. He could capture and sell it but he was not the type to be rude. Especially to a woman he was trying to woo. If the lady wanted the pokemon he would let her take it.
“I’m sorry,” He stood himself up straight again, “I didn’t mean to alarm you. Though it was something else because of its white colouring.” He looked back at Ruka with a soft smile. Vipin, the Sceptile, almost looked as if it were going to roll it’s eyes but instead it quickly looked away from them all and scowled.

The Illumise immediately went to cling to her human, shaking slightly from the flock of Flying-types that had assaulted her in their discomfort. Ruka held her close and focused on the Woobat. "Dim down a bit, Chiharu," she murmured quietly. Looking over at Lance, she smiled and shook her head. "No need to apologize. Better to be safe than sorry," she chuckled. "It's actually quite beautiful." Looking back up at the Woobat, she used part of Lance's jacket to cover the light coming from Chiharu, even though the firefly had dimmed it.
"Hey there, Woobat. Don't worry, I'm not going to hurt you. Actually, here, give me a second." Kneeling down, she set Chiharu down and took off the jacket, letting her hold it while the woman removed her backpack. Withdrawing a blanket, she held it up for the psychic bat. "You can hide from the light wrapped up in this if you like? I won't suffocate you or anything. We can cover up everything but your nose so you can still breath." Her Illumise continued to hold Lance's jacket, making sure she wasn't shining her light at the albino. Both of them knew from experience that most albino were extra-sensitive to light. This experience came from Ruka's whiny albino Cacnea.

The Woobat seemed to nod slowly as it moved forward and bit onto the blanket, dragging it over and laid down while throwing it over top of him. It's nose stuck out of the blanket and it seemed to calm down now. "Woo" he mumbles, thanking the girl for what she had given him. He then tried to sleep.

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] From the looks of it, the woman was indeed interested in the pokemon. It didn’t surprise him in the lest. Though he saw the pokemon as useless a woman would most likely see it as cute. It was saddening how easy it was to please a woman. Not that he minded. Pokemon companions was just one more gift he could shower upon his current girlfriends. Not to mention that his own pokemon grew stronger by battling those pokemon he caught.
Lance shot a glance at Vipin as the girl asked her own pokemon to dim it’s light. Vipin caught the feeling of his master’s eyes upon him and understood that it meant he too was expected to dim his light. So, he did, leaving most of the room dark but giving off just enough light so the two humans could see one another. “He appears to like you.” Lance claimed as he looked down at the pokemon now wrapped in the blanket.

Ruka watched the Woobat take her blanket and hummed quietly to herself. It wasn't quite what she had in mind. She only had two of those blankets and they weren't exactly cheap. Besides, she really wanted it to come with her. Hearing Lance's observation, she chuckled softly. "I suppose you could say that. Not... as much as I was hoping, though." Staying where she was, she watched the covered bat thoughtfully. Lance may have thought it was just the cuteness of the bat that made her like it, but it was more due to the albinism. She was, after all, a Pokemon breeder.
"Hey, I have something that's even more comfortable than the floor," she mentioned toward the Woobat finally. Shifting, she moved her Pokeballs into the outer pockets of her messenger bag and then held it open toward the Psychic-type. Woobat was small enough to fit in, no doubt, even wrapped in the blanket. Plus it had a flap over to block out even more light. This way she could let it nap and talk to it later about possibly joining her.

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] “You handle them much better than I do.” He complemented her. Which was true. He normally battled them, knocked them out and threw the pokeball. There was no talking to them and making friends with them. Really, what being needed to make friends with their pokemon? They nothing more than creatures with magical powers. Creatures created to serve and fight for humans. But that was not something a woman needed to worry her pretty little head with. Besides, if she was good with pokemon perhaps he could use her to help train any he captured. He defiantly wanted this woman for himself. That was, as long as she had a use for him.
“Were you able to learn such things for your grandparents?” He asked, knowing quite well that they were a good subject to bring up with this girl. She talked about them rather highly and was taking care of them which meant they were good terms. “Perhaps you teach me to me to be as genital as you. I tend to be too much of a brute.”

The Woobat looked at the bag and seemed to think about it. Slowly it started to fly with the blanket and went in. It moved around a bit until it was comfy and smiled to itself. "Bat!" it cheers from the bag. This was much better than the floor. <3

"Mostly from my parents, actually. They're both Pokemon breeders and I spent my life learning from my mother. Just... treat them like family rather than animals. Pokemon are, for the most part, much more intelligent than most give them credit for. If you earn their trust rather than expect it, you'll learn that they will be much more willing to help you... in anything." Smiling, she gently set the flap over the top of the bat and stood. She was careful to disturb the bag as little as possible as she took the jacket back from Chiharu.
"Would you like this back? I think I'm warmer now," she offered to the man. Then she zipped up and replaced her backpack where it belonged. "There. We'll let him rest for now and head up to the second floor altogether this time?" At this, she and Shade both looked at the Sceptile, as if wondering if he was to stay out as well.

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] So she was a breeder. That was perfect. Defantly something he show off to others if were able to woo this woman. Nero had been right. Coming to the Aerial Tower was well worth it. That was, as long as everything went the way he wanted it to. Things normally did. The things she was explaining about the pokemon sounded like crap to him but he could work around that. “I’ve never thought of pokemon as my family before,” Lance admitted sounding interested in the conversation rather than disgusted, “But…” He looked away from her, his expression saddening a bit, “I’ve never really been good with even my own family.”
His smile returned again when she offered his coat back and he reached out a hand to take it from her giving a soft “Thanks” before resting it over his left arm and looking up to the second floor. “Second floor it is,” He claimed looking back down and over towards the Golett, “Mind you take Vipin as well? We might need his help this time” What, with the ruckus caused when the bug pokemon went up.

The woman considered his words, her expression showing some pity for his dilemma. "Well... do you want to get along with your family? It's not as simple as just expecting it to happen. Compromises have to be made and things have to be figured out, no matter how painful or annoying. My older brother has always looked at me in a competitive view rather than accepting me. It's just in his nature, but it still kind of hurts to know that he sees me more as a threat to his relationship with our parents than as a person that cares for him and just wants to help."
Ruka then glanced up as they decided to continue. When asked if he minded the extra weight, the Ghost-type shook his head and began to lift the tree of them. The Illumise stayed close to her human this time, but kept slightly ahead so she could allow them to see as well.

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] “I do want to get along with them.” Lance confirmed giving her a week smile before looking away, “I’m willing to try what ever it takes but the problem is I don’t think he… wants to forgive me. I don’t blame him for not wanting to but I just…” He shook his head a little looking rather pitiful, “I abandoned my family a year ago when they needed me the most. Felis and Rosa are all I have left now and I know he blames me partly for the lose of our mother and other siblings. I was a coward but I see that now and I want to make things better.” He truly did love himself. He wanted to make things better but not because he cared for Felis. It was purely for his own personal gain and interests. Plus it allowed him to see his little Rosa. She meant the world to him.
He had finished his story just as they had reached the second floor. The light on Vipin’s tail kept to it’s dim stat so it was hard to see exactly what was still hanging around. Perhaps he would finally find a dragon.

The pokemon from above seemed to have scattered and were off elsewhere in the tower. A Rufflet was standing near the hole they came through and was staring at the wall blankly, not moving at all. Once it saw them pass, it shook it's head and flapped it's wings to go to the air. It studied Lance for a moment and seemed to grin. <Your hair it ._. It's amazing =D I want hair like that.> He looked pretty happy.
Suddenly a white figure came flying towards them and looked at the Vipin. The little pokemon suddenly flew over and looked at his tail. That was bright! It was... It was a light ^_^ That was much better than the old tower that was so dark! That's when the pokemon noticed that the entire pokemon seemed to shimmer and sparkle. His eyes got wide and began to sparkle themselves as he watched Vipin extremely closely. It appeared to be a Togetic if you could see it through the light of the pokemon.
Suddenly a bigger pokemon seemed to be moving around in the floor above. It seemed to have some rather large wings, but it was hard to tell what it was from the floor below. It then moved onto the floor above and was out of sight. It was impossible to tell what it was just from that though.

Ruka listened to him, her expression becoming rather sad. "Well you have to prove to him that you are sorry... Not just expect him to take your word for it. Anything worth having or doing takes effort. If you really want his forgiveness, prove to him you've changed." She had no idea, of course, that he probably hadn't changed in the slightest... All she was trying to do was give him the advice she thought he needed.
Once they'd landed on the next floor and the three Pokemon made themselves apparent, she smiled at the Rufflet. He was rather cute and seemed to like Lance, at least. But she had no other Pokemon from the same egg group. When the next Pokemon, a white one, appeared, she gasped slightly at its enthusiasm. Once it was still, admiring Vipin, she looked at it carefully. What was it, exactly? After a moment, she looked up and narrowed her eyes slightly at the one on the floor above.
Before Shade could land, she turned to look at him. "Go check out what's going on up there, okay? There seems to be... I don't know, something rather large. It's either just above us or another floor up. Chiharu, go with him for extra light." The Ghost-type didn't really need the light, but it would at least make it that much simpler for him to see. The two made their way up to the next floor, giving a glance around before they'd head up to the floor above that if there was nothing here.

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] “It’s not as easy as it sounds.” Lance claimed as his eyes drifted from trying to scan the room back onto her, “I just… don’t know how to prove it when he can hardly stand to be around me. I…” He reached down and into a pocket of his coat, pulling out a small picture, “wish I could show them… how much they mean to me…” His eyes had fallen to the picture, looking at it with an expression of longing before finally looking up and holding the picture out for Ruka to take and look at. In the picture a blond haired girl could be seen with a rather huge smile. Behind her in the background two more boys, the oldest being Felis and the other Ferdinando, his youngest brother. Lance actually had many siblings and family members. Felis and Rosa just happened to be the last two he knew was alive.
After he handed over the picture his eyes fell down on the Rufflet. It looked to be a rather weak pokemon but he knew it could evolve into a rather powerful pokemon. Nor dragon or grass type but still one of the few bird’s he had an eye out for. Not only that but he could use this pokemon to help rope in Ruka. It was perfect. “Do… I say hi to it?” He asked Ruka, his voice whispered and body a bit stiff. He hadn’t even noticed the Togetic yet but if he had he would have surely wanted it as gift for Rosa. What pokemon would be better for a little girl? Though even if he had seen it he would have still allowed Ruka a chance to take it first. After all, it would be rude to take a pokemon from the girl he was trying to woo just so he could give it away. Even if the gift was for Rosa.
Vipin on the other hand didn’t look too happy about being stared at. He wouldn’t do anything to harm the other pokemon without permission first but he defiantly was trying his best to ignore it. It wasn’t the Togetic’s fualt. The Sceptile just didn’t really like anyone. There were many reasons behind that, but none in which Vipin or Lance would speak about.

The Rufflet stared at him as he didn't say anything back. DX Was he being ignored? >.> Why was it the mean or weird ones that had the nice hair? Rufflet wanted hair like that... not an afro. He started to mess with his hair, trying to fix it so it looked like Lance's. DX
The Togetic saw Vipin trying to move away and ignore him, and he started to look sad. But he suddenly got in front of Vipin and smiled. <Hai!!!! I'm togetic =3 You're sparkly and all bright. =3 That's awesome.> the little pokemon states happily as he stood there.
The shadow was beginning to light up and began to take a form. A Braviary seemed to have been the form and looked at the pokemon. It said nothing and just watched calmly. A Murkrow was asleep near the edge. If it was bumped, it would probably fall in. A Zubat came flying away when the pokemon appeared. A Druddingon was sitting in the corner. He appeared to be hugging a little Vullaby closely. <Mommy! Mommy!> the Vullaby keeps calling out. The Druddingon was sweatdropping quite a bit at this. He wasn't a girl... and he wasn't the mother either. DX Who's was this baby? He couldn't really tell, since nothing that resembled a mother was there, but spotting the pokemon coming up, he began to wonder if it belonged to them.

As she listened, Ruka actually got a bit exasperated. Had she not just said things took effort? Of course it wasn’t easy… Then he continued on and she felt her heart break just the slightest bit. A brother who literally couldn’t stand to be around him? What had happened that caused that? When the picture was handed to her, she looked it over and smiled faintly. They looked like they were enjoying each others company. She didn’t dare ask anything about them, worried she might drudge up more memories.
Then he began to ask a question and she looked up before glancing at the bird. ”Yes... Show him you’re interested. I mean... I talk to Pokemon I don’t even necessarily plan on capturing. It just shows them that not all humans are bad people.” She smiled at the Rufflet before adding, ”I don’t have any other Pokemon from the same egg group and I doubt I’d spend a lot of time with him, so I wouldn’t want to just leave him at home all the time.” It was then she actually realized what the Togetic was and giggled slightly at its antics. She’d be slightly more interested in him if her Happiny and Clefairy were evolved, but at the moment, she seemed to let him be. She was honestly rather worried about her other Pokemon.
Chiharu shuddered at the realization of what they’d followed and just gave an uncertain smile at the large eagle-like bird. Both Pokemon made a point not to bump the poor blackbird and watched the Zubat fly away from the light. As the Illumise heard the call for a mother, her attention flicked to the other two Pokemon. Aw... poor Vullaby. Fluttering over, she landed by the Druddigon and smiled. <Um... Hello there. I see you’re having a little bit of difficulty. Maybe my trainer can help the two of you? She’s two stories down... I don’t know if the Vullaby will unattach from you long enough to get her down, but if you’ll come along, too...?> It was clear she was rather nervous, but she wanted to help.

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] If he had of noticed her bit of exasperation and the reason why he would have almost had doubts on her intelligence and perhaps abandoned the attempts to woo her. She had clearly misunderstood what he was referring to when he claimed it wasn’t easy. But he hadn’t noticed it as his attention hadn’t been on her by that point. Now his attention wasn’t on either the girl or the picture but on the pokemon in front of him. He was extremely poor at understanding pokemon and therefore he had no clue that the pokemon liked him for his hair. If he had of known about the Braviary he probably would have abandoned trying to ‘make friends’ with the Rufflet. But at this point the was purely doing it to get the girl.
Lance gave a small nod when she explained that yes, he should talk to it. He felt stupid doing this but didn’t let that show. Instead he pretended to act a bit nervous talking to the pokemon. “Um, Hello. I’m Lance Rossi.” He was being a bit formal with the bird pokemon but that was just how he was. In all honesty, if he were alone he wouldn’t be bothered to talk to the pokemon. Knock it out and capture it. It didn’t matter if the pokemon didn’t like him for it. He’d train the pokemon to understand it’s place in the world and show it strength. That’s how things were.
Vipin on the other hand seemed to be failing at ignoring the Togetic. When the ‘thing’ spoke to him, Vipin ended up glancing over at Lance to see what he should do. Disappointingly, Lance wasn’t paying any attention to him or the Togetic. He was too busy talking to the little Rufflet. So, with a heavey sigh the Sceptile looked back over at Togetic, <Hi> He finally answered the pokemon but did not offer anything else. He wasn’t very good at interacting with others.

The Rufflet smiled and called out it's name in both languages... which was just Rufflet. It still stared at him and was studying his hair and trying to match it, but his hair just kept exploding into an Afro again. DX No fair! He ended up giving up and let out a little "Ruf..." sound as he hung his head down in shame. He was so ugly DDX
The Togetic stared at the shiny pokemon as it said hi in a low voice. <Why are you so ssshhhyyyy!?! Nobody needs to be SHY! Just talk to somebody! Say Something!> the Togetic calls out quickly.
The Druddingon listened and slowly got up and started to fly down with the bird to the others on the floors below. It wanted to find the mother of this child as quickly as he could, so he could be free of it.

Ruka couldn't help but chuckle at the Rufflet. Glancing over at Lance, she moved to take her backpack off again. Shuffling through it, she produced a bottle of water. Walking over, she opened it and handed it to the little bird. "Here... maybe wetting it down will help?" She didn't want him to feel bad, after all, and it wasn't as if water was difficult to get.
As the dragon headed down, the Illumise glanced at Shade. <I'll go down with him so he doesn't surprise them too much. You want to stay up here?> Nodding, the Golett looked around and landed as the light faded. He could still see alright, but not as well as with the light. Chiharu rushed down to accompany the Druddigon with a smile. Before they got to the floor which held the two humans, she called out to warn them of their approach. At this, Ruka turned to look, waiting.
Once left alone, Shade walked over to the Murkrow and gently tried to push it away from the edge. He didn't want to disturb it, but he was afraid that a particular gust of wind or something might make the bird fall and who knew if it would be able to catch itself.
