Shade, however, was wary of the eyes and walked a little closer, peering carefully into the darkness to assess what was there. <Who's there?> He did his best not to sound commanding, but he really was a bit paranoid about a hidden entity. He was quiet, at least, so as not to disturb the other Pokemon. That was quickly proven to be a useless gesture when the Vullaby began to cry.
Ruka immediately turned to her and quieted her. "Hey now, it's alright. This is just the first place we've looked. We aren't going to stop here," she assured the little bird. Chiharu decided to take over the job of reassuring the Vullaby as her human looked down at her sack. The Woobat stirring was not really a good sign. She could try to offer a Pokeball, telling him that it would be quieter... but she had no way of actually knowing if it would be or not and that seemed too presumptuous. For now, since the flap on her bag hadn't flipped up, she assumed he was just a bit disturbed but not completely awakened. [/scrolly] |

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] Lance found himself continuing to scan the room his attention landing the set of eyes in the shadows for a moment. However, his attention was quickly drawn away from them when the sound of the Vullaby began to ring in his ears. The first expression to come to his face was that of annoyance but he quickly disguised it as he looked down at the Rufflet. “Common let’s say you and I go check out who’s over there.” He suggested. It was his attempt to once again talk to the pokemon though he felt his efforts were once again going to be for nothing. At the very least he could somewhat impress the girl. “Vipin will be with us so we wont get hurt. Maybe it’s the Vullaby’s mother being too shy to come out. We are strangers after all, right?”
With that Lance gave a small nod before looking to Vipin and heading towards the pair of eyes. Without questioning Lance, Vipin followed beside him using his lit tail to help them see better. “Common out, we wont hurt you.” Lance cooed softly trying his best to sound as kind as he could. He almost felt sick just hearing the words coming out of his mouth.

The Rufflet hesitated a little at Lance's words and kept looking from the corner of the room and back again. Er-...Uh... ok? Slowly starting to follow Lance, the hesitating bird hopped along.
The Vullaby slowly soothed again as the comforting words of the woman hit her. ;-; Oh this was true... She... she ... yes this was true she'd be ok... Slowly nodding her head, she managed to wrack up enough nerve to give the room another quick look around only to freeze at the sight of the shadowy creature in the corner. What...what was that? Er.. Did... she even want to know? The Woobat simply continued to nap, now at peace with less sounds...
The Driddigon found himself looking out what appeared to be a window of sorts and was thinking over something that was obviously bothering him now.
Meanwhile, the Murkrow let out a shriek as he caught sight of what Lance was headed towards. <NO NO CROW NO! THERE LIES THE CROW EATER THE CROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW EATER!> he squawked feverishly. In another second, a frenzied Woobat burst from the bag and flapped about startled and afraid. What was going on? What year was it? Who was he?
The dark shadowed creature seemed to snicker somehow before suddenly bursting forth from his hide out. A sinister looking Flygon shrieked before making to claw at Lance himself. ._.; Oh dear.

As quickly as it had calmed, the Murkrow caused it to become hectic again and she sighed. "It's alright! It's alr--Oh! Lance, are you okay?"
While she stood back, her Golett was quick to shift into a defensive posture in between her and the Flygon, even if Lance and Vipin were already there as well. He just wanted to make sure no attacks got past the two. Once getting a response from Lance about whether he was okay or not, the woman would quickly shift her attention back to the two Flying-types. "It's alright, Murkrow! I think Lance might catch it and take it away from here," she commented, glancing at the Rossi as if to see if she was, indeed, correct. He had said he was looking for dragons, but he might not be interested in this one for one reason or another. Then she calmly reached out her arms toward the Woobat. "Sorry to have woken you, but please don't leave. I'd like to talk to you about joining me."
Chiharu was still keeping her attention on the Vullaby, making sure she felt as safe as possible in this situation. She was a bit worried about the situation herself but she was sure Lance and Vipin could at least fend off the Flygon. Looking to the Druddigon, she asked if he was alright. [/scrolly] |

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] ‘What in the world is that crow going on about?’ Lance’s mind had hissed as he turned around and glared at the black bird. Was the Murkrow really that afraid of some glowing eyes? Well Lance certainly wasn’t. He just simply shock his head. “It’s fine, It’s probably just as afraid of- of-!”He had turned around while speaking just in time to hear the loud shriek from the Flygon. Lance’s eyes instantly widened as he watched the pokemon race towards him, claws outstretched towards him. A sharp pain ran through his throat and stomach as a quick gasp of air filled his lungs. He found himself stumbling back, but before a sharp claw could hit his soft skin, Vipin intercepted with a Quick Attack. He wasn’t concerned about hitting the other pokemon more than he was simply getting in between it and Lance. Crow eater? Vipin wasn’t so sure if the dragon type would eat crows or not, but he sure as hell wasn’t letting it touch Lance while he was there.
It wasn’t until the initial shock of the attack passed that Lance’s mind began to speed up once again. Before he knew exactly what he was saying he found muttering, “I’m- I’m ok…” in response to Ruka’s question. That followed the look down to the tiny Ruffet, “Go back.”

o>o OMGWUTWASTHATEP---Chirp? The Rufflet's entire body went on edge at the sight of the Flygon, and he quite literally didn't hear Lance's words. Instead, he stood there like some sort of fixed statue. Shock. Go figure.
The Murkrow continued to flap around fearfully now and barely keeping himself in the air. Even at Ruka's words, he continued his frenzied panic. Oh God! He was going to beat eaten for sure ;>; oh Arceus WHYYYYYYYY? He managed to hear Ruka's second attempt to console his panic, and he ended up thrusting his entire body into her arms and burying his face fearfully.
The white colored Woobat looked at Ruka and seemed to calm, recognizing familiarity again. Don't leave? Oh... where was he again? Uh... 'Looking' around, the Woobat then turned back to Ruka. Talk about joining her? Mmmm for tea or something? After-nap tea sounded good. He was actually all but oblivious to the pressing situation at hand now.
The Vullaby had taken several hops back at the sight of the Flygon and was doing her best to be brave... and failing miserably. However, she was defensibly calmer than she would have been if she was alone, that's for sure.
The Druddigon, meanwhile, turned around and was now watching the fight that had started up. <Oh dear....> was all he sighed quietly shaking his head. He wished that there didn't have to be any sort of fighting :/ .....
Meanwhile, the Flygon took a bit of damage from the Quick Attack motion, but it was far from anything too painful. Smiling a somehow toothy smile, he breathed in deeply before unleashing vicious flames from his mouth in the form of a Flamethrower. <BURN AND DIE!> he shouted upon finishing his flame spitting.

"If you want, Murkrow, you can get in one of my Pokeballs and you'll stay safely in my bag. I promise nothing is going to eat it or its contents, including you. For that matter, if you're not comfortable with a Pokeball, you are welcome to just sit in the bag since Woobat is out here now." Glancing up, she took a deep breath and noticed the Rufflet was frozen in place. "Shade, grab the Rufflet and bring him back over here," she ordered.
The Golett quickly shifted to run over and snag the poor little bird by the wing. He wasn't the most agile of Pokemon, but he got the job done and set the bird by Chiharu and the Vullaby. She was happy to take care of the two and soothed the two as best she could with words. Ruka looked back to the Woobat and took a deep breath. "I was wondering if you might be interested in leaving this tower with me. Now is not the ideal time to really talk about this, but if you'll consider coming with me to travel, I'd really like it," she tried to explain as quickly as possible as Shade got ready to create a Protect-shield if the Flamethrower just happened to get past Vipin.
