Granted, but then your badass longcoat gets ruined instead.
(But seriously, D:! *offers duct tape*)
I wish I had a working What-If machine that functioned as a What-If machine typically does in varying manners of fiction: just displaying a video of what might happen with no immediate effect on the real world.

Granted, however you rush the rest of it and it ends up not being up to your expectations. You burn it in frustration and decide to lock yourself away as you toil on a replacement. You put every resource you have into making sure that your cosplay is an exact replica of the character and even go so far as to perform cosmetic surgery on yourself with a sewing kit.
You eventually convince yourself that you ARE said character and emerge from your home. Somebody calls the police and you are promptly arrested and institutionalized. You develop an infection from your DIY plastic surgery and end up dying alone inside a padded cell.
I wish my mother would stop bitching at me for spending money on things I actually need.
EDIT: fuck

You get something carbonated--Fizzix Gogurt. It's disgusting.
I wish I'd stop being distracted and write my damn novel x'D

You write it. Not only do you complete NaNoWriMo, but the work is published. An obsessed fan falls so in love with your work that she eventually hunts you down and kidnaps you, locking her in her basement and forcing you to write more wonderful stories about your amazing characters (often with her self-insert) for the rest of your life, with no contact to the outside world and only tomato soup to eat for 90% of your meals.
I wish my children were obediant to a fault as in Ella Enchanted, but only my words had this effect on them, with an auto-discern feature to tell the serious (which would work) from the meaningless non-literal expressions (which wouldn't). 83

[[x'D Misery lol.]]
Emi and all children after her are this obedient. Unfortunately, they also never grow to have personalties of their own, and instead are just free labor for you. So it's kinda a half-corruption I guess. *SHOT*
I wish that I was able to come up with more detailed and funny wish corruptions~

Granted but as you come up with more corruptions, your mind becomes overwhelmed with them, and you have an extreme mental breakdown.
I wish my ankle would heal.

(xP Ember already HAS an awesome personality. *SHOTKILLED*)
Your ankle heals, and you proceed to immediately break both legs. One needs to be amputated. :3
I wish I had my compeh power chord in my room without having to get up and go get it or anyone knowing I'm awake.

Granted, your power chord now comes whenever you need it like a good puppy. However it is now temperamental and only works occasionally.
I wish that schoolwork wasn't so stressful and would stop killing Elayne's muse.

[[Power chord...x''3]]]
Granted. Schoolwork is a breeze, and in fact it HELPS your muse when you do it. It...feels awesome to do this schoolwork! You now only have time for the schoolwork which you now enjoy, and while this is good for your future, you leave all your friends in the dust. D;

x3 You made no wish, Flora. I wish that I could control time

Post by Admiral Striker General on Nov 18, 2010 23:01:43 GMT -5
Granted, but the only control you have is to send only yourself backwards in time. There is no maximum on this, but you cannot go back less than a week at a time. When you do, your time travel paradox duplicate- the you that existed in the original past of time- is always killed violently to allow you to take your place. Additionally, you still age as if you had not gone back in time, meaning eventually it starts becoming obvious to your friends and family that you're becoming different, and you will die chronologically far sooner than you would have otherwise. Also, if you go back too far, you're just screwed and have to wait it out.
I wish I'd stop having fish-flavored heartburn. =3=

Granted your heartburn is gone, and you feel as good as new! However, afterwards you are inflicted with a massive migraine that makes you wish you had the heartburn instead. Try as you might, no pain meds will work on it.
I wish could control my spastic need to make characters.

It is controlled! By the fact that your characters are now real and know you're responsible for what's happened to them. You are informed that any and all new characters will become real, as well. Awesome as this sounds, they're very angry at you for what you've done to them. 8'D
Also, while you can fully interact with them, no one else can see or hear or feel them or anything they do.
...I wish you'd forget I didn't make a wish. Shh.

Granted. I forgot about your wish, but then you think of a really good wish and now can't have any wishes ever. :>
I wish I wasn't so agitated at the moment.

Granted, but now that there's no agitation, you feel.. sad.
I wish I could have like a week extra to do my research paper D:

Granted, you are now transported a week back in time, giving you ample enough time to do your research paper. However when you do finish it, you find out that the teacher had cancelled the assignment and so all your work was wasted.
I wish I didn't have to do chores.

I wish I had another laptop.
