As Alex moved to refill his drink Carly found herself debating whether or not she should do the same...eh perhaps later. Hearing Iris speak Carly turned to look at her and smiled,"Sounds like it'd be a lotta fun,"she agreed before pulling out some of her own money and putting it on the table. "As fer the award...I'm not sure. If ya kin sing a guy song and pull it off then gewd fer ya. On the flip side if ya make a total fool of yerself then it'd be more of a consilation prize. Eh, I'll say it'll go to the one who's the best,"Carly mused, not noticing the slight western accent that she was beginning to speak in. [/scrolly]

"Best for sure. That way we don't all just TRY to be bad, right?" The thought did amuse her though, and she put a hand to her chin, thumb and middle finger resting on it while her index finger tapped in thought for a moment. "Recognizing the worst in some way would be interesting though... Mm.."

Then it hit her. "Oh hey. How about the worst has to double his or her payout?" Reaching into her wallet, she realized-- "...Not necessarily tonight, if you didn't bring much.. heh. But soon-ish." She was pretty certain she could at least beat Carly, but better safe than sorry, and it was an offer she'd have made for either of them anyway if she'd thought about it. She had enough to match their bids, though, and set her Pen on theirs. This--

...Alex frowned, looking down at her leg. ... "How the hell am I supposed to sing "Just Dance" with a..." ...Fuck. Huffing an irritated sigh, she thought on it. She could put a little weight on it now, nearly a month after injuring it, but... "I wonder.. if I could rig something up that's less... bulky," she mused to herself, sipping a bit of her drink as she thought on it. "Might.. have to go with the other song... mm..."

Oh yes. Delilah did like this girl. A small, surprised laugh had escaped at the compliment, which faded to more of a chuckle at the clarification/addition(?). "You're pretty cute yourself," barely realizing how that had actually come out. The girl was just... cute. In the manner that baby bunnies were cute. She wouldn't tell a sweet little baby bunny that it was pretty or beautiful; she'd say cute or adorable or sweetest little thing on the whole planet yes you are. ... Ahem, but yes.

As Lexi scolded her brother, Lilah rolled her eyes and smirked. "Oh posh. He's not selling it to you; it's one little drink your brother's giving you at his birthday party." ...Then again, if she didn't usually drink due to her age... Lilah laughed lightly. "I'm sure he could part with a wine cooler or something if this is a bit strong, too."

That was mostly a joke, but Iris had to crack a grin. Then, another thought struck her. "We should get an unbiased judge. Someone to make this more fair than just the three of us. And who better than the birthday boy, hm?" Iris glanced over at him; oh, she had quite the idea in mind... [/scrolly]

Delilah's reply brought yet another soft coloration to Alexis's features, though upon realizing this -most from the heat of it- she ended up forcing a wider smile. However, the conversation went on, and Delilah's input only caused the blue haired girl to blink. Ah, that... wasn't so bad. She'd heard they were lighter than some of the usual drinks and...- ep but no but....er.....

"Ah perfect~ That'll work," Lyall replied grinning easily before starting to move around his bar. Though he lightly bumped into a few things -which he attested to it being dark rather than any combination of drink, though technically it wasn't that dark compared to-- yeah shaddap, Lyall made his way around and fished out a glass before fixing something considerably lighter - and much more fruity, surpassing even the strawberry heart attack that he made for Carly- for the Lexi. "There now," he grinned flatly.

Alexis, whom had taken up watching as Lyall made his way around the bar, sweat dropped a little before laughing quietly and looking down at the drink then. A hesitant expression came to her features, yet after a moment Alexis picked up the drink, taking a very small sip as not to be rude to Delilah whom had suggested it or Lyall whom had made it... It... actually wasn't that bad, huh...

No need to make a total fool outta em either, though pen ain't no issue with me so I ain't complainin'," she replied before Iris spoke again suggesting that Lyall be the judge. Well now that would be interesting~ and fun at the same time mmm maybe they could get Lexi to join in as well. "Sure~, Ly being the judge would be great. Gimme a sec an' I'll ask 'im,"Carly said before turning to Lyall just as he set the fruity concoction in front of Lexi. Mmm, that looked good but the Amontillado was starting to grow on Carly and well... Against her better judgement, Carly poured another glass of Amontillado and took a sip before leaning against the bar. "Hey Ly, Alex, Iris, and I were gonna do a lil' contest to see who kin sing the best song. Ya wanna be the judge?"Carly asked in an upbeat voice,"Yal are welcome to join us if ya want ya know Lilah and Lexi~,"she continued in a near sing song voice before taking another sip of her drink.[/scrolly]

You don't have to get wasted on expensive liquors or nuclear horse piss-tasting beers to have fun drinking at a party. You could probably drink five or <i>more</i> of those little things and might get a headache at worst." She laughed lightly again. ...What? No she wasn't being a horrible influence on Lyall's baby sister. No more than he himself anyway probably most likely ssh.

Alex grinned sheepishly at Iris, wondering just what sort of public embarrassment she had in mind, before Carly shot it down; Alex rolled her eyes to that. "Pff. Fiiine. ...I'd say we just won't tell you if you're worst, but then you'd know anyway if a loser wasn't declared.. heh." As Carly turned to ask Lyall, Alex leaned toward (and maybe barely to a point of actually touching) Iris. Quietly, she mumbled, "If one of us wins, we can count the other as the 'loser' unless it's really close. If we both lose we can always ask Lyall next time we both work." After a moment, she gave a slightly dumb grin and chuckled, sounding a little... well... derpier than before, though she wasn't too bad (yet). "If he remembers the contest by then."

All Lilah's humor fell away. Dammit all she'd stayed too long, all right. Um. Uhhh. Fuck. Silently sighing, she tried to force a friendly smile and only managed to come off as nervous. "Oh no, eh... I don't sing. ...Like ever." How in less than ten words did she still manage to overexplain? Sigh. Right so.. she was topping off her drink now and.. maybe she'd get lucky: she didn't really want to rush off and seem rude(r than she already had), but maybe they'd let her just kind of slink away...?

"You know it," the woman whispered back with a wink. "Nothing like a little sibling rivalry to keep things fun, eh?" She gave a small giggle. Five or.....more? Alexis blinked almost a little dumbfounded. It wasn't as though she were actually going to drink that much, but... really? Lexi might have been sheltered, maybe. A quiet, nervous laugh escaped from her, and she ended u grinning with a more cheesy expression than Lyall sometimes wore. Meanwhile, Lyall smirked a little. "Ya can have as many as ya want, Lexeh~" he grinned only causing a startled look to come to Alexis's face. What? It was His. Fucking. Birthday. He could say what he wanted. Alexis just stared a little more before nervously laughing and rubbing the back of her head. "One's fine, thanks, Lyall," she smiled.

As Carly came over, Lyall's attention shifted and he turned before raising an eyebrow. Was everyone up for using his nickname? Eh, who not~? Focusing on the actual question, he chuckled a bit. "Course I'll be the judge," he replied before hearing Delilah's comment. Looking sideways at the woman, he raised his eyebrow. "Really, Lilah? Though you'd 'ave more fun with it," Lyall said.

Lexi went beat red, and something nervous and quiet escaped from her. No words came, and she just ended up sitting there awkwardly wondering what was wrong with Carly. She knew from the several birthday parties and other things that Alexis didn't -or rather couldn't bring herself- to do something such as that. Deciding it must be the drink, she actually focused on that point instead of a flat out 'no'. "C-c-carly... you might wanna slow down on your drink intake..." she said barely audible at all.

Inside, Lilah could have screamed, and possibly pulled out some hair. Outside, she'd flatlined.. with an occasional twitch. ".... I have plenty of fun. ...I just don't. sing.." Gods that wasn't going to be enough to get her away... .... Ugh. <_< She seriously thought of telling Carly she was sure she'd do fine at fucking, so obviously that meant she should more too; but aside from no actual proof the girl was a virgin or even close (as much as her attitude at times made Lilah suspect it), she had a feeling Lyall would not be so fond of that.....

Lexi's mouth snapped shut, and she shook her head at Carly if only for a moment as she worked up the nerve to speak again. "Carly, don't have any more drinks," she tried to assert, but her tone came off as weak and confused among other things which only caused her to sigh a little....and then she happened to look sideways watching as Lyall pretty much hopped his own bar to get back around to the right side of the cask to fill his own drink. Sighing, she rubbed her temple and then took another sip of her drink. Meanwhile, Lyall was taking up some more and laughing a little. "Well that's fine I guess," he said with a cheesy grin. "Get to watch somethin' interestin' at least."

In the meantime, Alex hadn't really been paying attention to anyone but Iris for the moment. She smirked wryly at her, then just shrugged a little 'too' innocently. "Ah, nothin'." ..... >|3 "Just wondering how long it'd take to drink you under the table." Actually, Alex was relatively certain Iris could drink more than her, and by a considerable margin. But Iris had already had a few, and Alex was just finishing her second, and... x'3 Eh, it could be fun. Another dumb-laugh escaped her, a bit worse than last time.

Looking up, she noticed the current song was winding down (so to speak), and looked around now at everyone in their mini-group. "Ohey. So are we starting this thing now or waiting for another song?"

I'll take ya up on that after the contest, though" she smirked as she gave Alex a playful, maybe even somewhat flirty, punch on the shoulder. "Ya pansy~" At the next question, Iris thought a moment. Alexis bit her lip, and her entire face went beat red as Carly's laughter escalated. It wasn't that funny! It wasn't funny at all! Alex's hand reached up and set itself on her opposite shoulder massaging it as though trying to soothe herself. It wasn't working in the least.

Meanwhile, Lyall blinked having missed what Carly was laughing about. However, as Delilah called, he looked over and offered a cheesy smirk. "Sure thing Lilah~" he laughed a little before pouring yet another drink and downing it fast.

Alexis couldn't take it anymore, and suddenly she was up on her feet and rushing quickly towards the back bathroom. >~< Carlyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lyall blinked. "Lexi?" he asked watching her rush away. Er... maybe she had to pee or something....

In the meantime, Alex snorted a chuckle at the verbal and physical jabs. "Yeah, yeah. I'd have no objection if you went after them." At the word them, she nodded to whoever was currently sin--... Oh damn, someone else had rushed right up after the previous guy. Well, the song he'd picked was pretty short, heh. Back to their competitions then.. "But I did say survival and how--" About that time, Lexi darted by. .. .3. Odd. ..Annnyway- "how long, not how many." She feigned a cocky grin that really just came out cheesy. "Maybe pacing is part of my stra--"

And about that time, Carly excused herself hurriedly and rushed after her sister. Okay, that was a little odder. Alex's first instinct was to go make sure everything was okay, but then--... Right. After a small flinch in that direction, she settled back down and turned back to Iris, more concerned now. "..Wanna go make sure they're okay?"

When upset, Alexis Lillian Zander could all but fly. Rushing into the bathroom, finding one of the few stalls, and rushing inside, she locked the door before standing there with her back to it. Her entire body screamed to keep running, and her head was pounding, whether because of this new rush of adrenaline or the small intake of drink, she would never quite know. However, after a few seconds, she managed to quiet her breath a bit at least. Suddenly the sounds of a door opening caused Lexi to look back, though of course all she saw was a stall door behind her, of course. However, as Carly started to speak, the blue haired girl was sure of who it was. Even as Carly spoke, Alexis said nothing instead uttering something quiet but emotional.

Lyall, meanwhile, was now more or less watching who was singing and had managed to fully distract himself from most, if not all, of the situation.
