A continuation of this thread.

She could tell that the others had been transported with her but beyond that Elayne didn't know where she was or what was going on. She could hear voices and felt herself being lifted onto a bed before the ceiling started to move as the doctors and nurses wheeled her out of the room. The last thing Elayne remembered was an oxygen mask being pressed to her face as nurses began to remove her clothing to assess the damage before everything finally faded to black. What the nurses found was enough to alarm the doctors and send Elayne into surgery immediately. For the next few hours the doctors and nurses worked to save Elayne. One nurse escaped the flurry of activity to inform the people that had arrived with the girl what was going on. Stepping out into the waiting room, it was clear by the look on the nurse's face that Elayne was in trouble as she crossed over to where the others were waiting. "Sorry to keep you waiting...she's in surgery right now and we're doing the best we can to help her. Her injuries are quite severe however and though she's responding well I'm afraid we're not out of the woods yet. I'll do my best to keep you updated on her progress,"the nurse stated in a calm voice before bowing slightly and leaving the waiting room to assist the other doctors. Miguel sighed from where he had chosen to sit after being teleported to the waiting room. This was definitely not what he had expected to come back to after finding Justice. If only he had gotten back sooner perhaps she wouldn't have gotten hurt... Elly had been pacing the waiting room the entire time, beside herself with worry. It certainly hadn't helped that she could only just barely feel Elayne's consciousness. Whether it was from distance or because Elayne herself was weak Elly wasn't quite certain. When the nurse came back with news on how Elayne was doing Elly was tempted to just bolt through the door to where Elayne was but knew that wouldn't do any good. Still...it was at least something...all but deflating, Elly finally stopped pacing and laid down on the cool floor, wishing that she could do something besides wait.[/scrolly]

Thankfully the doctors and nurses saw to Elayne in an instant considering anyone with a connection to the Duke of the East who happened to foot a few of their bills monthly was going to get treated fast. However, now came the waiting game...but even beyond that Feliciano found himself caught between wanting to leave and staying. He wanted to go back and beat some sense into that red haired man especially after Miguel had vaguely explained the situation, but the thought of leaving Elayne for a moment was quickly becoming unbearable. Thus the blond ended up pacing much like Elly was doing. Every few seconds he would stop, look towards one pair of doors and then the other before continuing to pace. Even as the nurse come out and explained things were going well, all he could do was nod quietly and ended up pacing that much more. There were too many things going through Felis's mind at once, and he just couldn't sit still at all. After having teleported a bunch of people as well as pokemon that she hadn't even expected to, Isa was flat out tired. However, the Gardevoir didn't even have her pokeball to rest in at the moment, and thus all she could do was sit in a chair on one side of Miguel and look exhausted. Meanwhile, Rai who had hitchiked on the Teleport much like Elly had was watching not the doors but Elly. He'd tried to calm her down already, but it had been to no avail. However, as the nurse came out and gave the news, he sighed softly before finally getting up and walking over to her gently sitting down next to her. <It'll be alright...> he reassured. [/scrolly]

She calmed down though seeing this was about that girl who was hurt. Not knowing what to say or do Justice said in one of the chairs and stared down at the floor, hoping that girl would be alright.. After a while Justice called out Winnie her Albino Teddiursa. She hugged the bear pokemon and sighed, though when the nurse came in Justice stood up as she spoke, whens she was finished Justice nodded before sitting down again and looked over at her Brother, Feils and the other three pokemon that had come with them. Justice wanted to say something but nothing came to mind so she started to stare at the floor again, [/scrolly]

Even though the surgery had taken longer than anyone had expected, she was glad to at least be able to give some good news. "I'm pleased to say that the surgery went well and she's doing fine. There were some minor complications during the surgery which was why it took longer than was expected. I know you're probably anxious to see how she's doing but I must ask that you wait a couple hours before seeing her. The anesthia will take a while to wear off and she may be a little disoriented when you see hear. We're going to keep her a few days at least just to be sure she's doing well. Thank you so much for your patience,"the nurse explained before leaving the waiting area once again. Miguel sighed with relief upon hearing the news and smiled."Thank goodness,"Miguel breathed out before looking up at Felis who had been pacing pretty much the entire time,"Elayne is going to be all right..."he continued, repeating what the nurse had said if only to reassure himself that it was true. The knot that had been forming in his stomach the entire time they had been forced to wait all but disappeared with the knowledge that Elayne would be fine. It would take some time before she was fully healed of course but knowing that she was going to be all right was a tremendous relief. Elly looked at Rai when he came and sat down next to her and leaned against him a little, desperately hoping that he was right. When the nurse came in and told them the good news, Elly deflated and relaxed completely, more than a little relieved that Elayne was going to be all right.[/scrolly]

He found himself edging one way and then turning to another, but at the very least of it all, he was getting his exorcize for the day. When the nurse finally came out again and explained all that had gone on, the blond sighed out so quickly that he physically decompressed and slumped back into a chair that happened to be close by. "OhthankGod.... he sighed deeply shutting his eyes and bringing two hands to either side of his face pressing fingers to skin and trying to calm down. A few minutes passed before he actually moved again. It was only after this fact that the blond haired man sighed out and fished a phone from his pocket...only to find that he had about twenty missed calls from his father. Blinking startled, Felis flipped open the phone and began to wait for the familiar sound of a voice that he had all but forgotten about in the time jump that had all but occurred. Rai rubbed against Elly comfortingly and sighed deeply when it seemed Elayne was going to be alright. It was only after this fact that he wondered just how his own trainer was, and suddenly the Espeon was paling considerably fast. [/scrolly]

After a few minutes she did fall alseep but it was a light one with not so pleasant dreams. Due to all the fire types she had seen today she was going to have nightmares for a while... When the nurse came in Justice's eyes flew open as she gave a gasp as if something had frightened her. She calmed herself down and blushed a little as she listened to the nurse. At the news Elayne was going to be alright, Justice brightened and looked over at Miggy and smiled but still did not say anything. [/scrolly]

Thankfully the painkillers in her system were enough to keep the worst of the pain away but Elayne was all too aware of how much she would hurt if said pain killers weren't there. The constant beeping of the machines beside her made her remember that she was in the hospital...that's right...Haii had found her and Isa had teleported her here. Where was everyone then...had they made it with her...? Right then Elayne's mind was too foggy from the anesthetic to tell how much time had passed or if any time had passed at all. Elayne started to sit up a little only to feel pain shoot through her shoulder and chest and immediately settled back onto the bed. She hated feeling so helpless...why did this have to happen...why couldn't she have tried to get away from Simeon before then... --- The startled gasp from Justice didn't escape Miguel's notice but he simply wrapped an arm around her instead of drawing attention to it. He was still worried about Elayne to be sure but right now Justice was here and she'd certainly been brave even being so close to those fire types. "You were very brave..."Miguel whispered in Justice's ear before looking over at Felis who was listening to his phone. Pulling out his own phone with his free hand, Miguel saw that he had several messages from Jayme and breathed out quietly; no doubt he would be wondering where they were... Holding the phone to his ear, Miguel called Jayme and explained the situation as calmly as he could without worrying him further. After a short time Miguel hung up the phone again and placed it back in his pocket before relaxing against the chair, arm still wrapped around Justice. Elly sighed when Rai rubbed against her and purred slightly before she saw him pale and blinked. Rai...what's wrong...

A quiet few 'mmm' and 'uhuh's escaped into the air before the blond haired man paled. "No, he should be here if his shoulder's bothering him!" Felis spoke so quickly that a few might not have even caught it, and after a few seconds, he fell back into a few 'uhhuhs' "Right...ok... I'll talk to you in a bit..." Feliciano sighed beofre hanging up the phone and deflating again into the chair. Rai, meanwhile, shook his head a bit at Elly. 'Haiiro...he'd been hit in the shoulder...and I can't sense him anywhere near here and...' Rai sighed deeply shaking his head again. [/scrolly]

When he said she had been brave she smiled, turned her had and kissed on on the cheek. before settling in again, Justice then looked over at Feils and frowned. She wished she could say somthing to make the man feel better.. But she had no idea who he was do that made it hard to come up with any ideas. Winnie mean while feel asleep in Justice's arms oblivious to the world around him at the moment. [/scrolly]

She hated the thought of making anyone worry about her but there was very little she could do about that now. How had Haii and Cora gotten there anyway...Elayne had been so sure that nobody would come... Elly...that's right...the Espeon had shown up before anyone else had. Perhaps somehow Elly had alerted the others that something was wrong...whatever the case Elayne was more than glad that Elly had been able to get there when she had. A nurse walked into the room at that moment, drawing Elayne out of her thoughts as she repositioned the bed so that she was sitting up and asked Elayne what her name was and several other questions that seemed all too easy to answer. After a few moments of this the nurse seemed satisfied and checked the monitors before leaving the room again. Elayne stared out the window for a few moments feeling exhausted after the simple conversation with the nurse, it was long after this that Elayne drifted off to sleep once again. --- Miguel smiled softly when Justice kissed his cheek and held her a little closer before looking over at Felis. Though he hadn't heard exactly what was said he could tell that something was clearly wrong judging by Felis' demeanor. "Is everything all right?"Miguel asked quietly as Felis hung up and leaned back in the chair. Elly's ears went back as Rai explained what was bothering him and rubbed against her mate comfortingly. It'll be all right...I'm sure he'll come soon,Elly purred, doing her best to reassure Rai much as he had done for her.[/scrolly]

"My father apprehended Simeon and called his parents ...and locked him in my basement," he laughed weakly rubbing his temple thereafter. " All the pokemon left behind are fine, and Haiiro and Cora are....decent..." Felis sighed deeply. "But something seems wrong with Haiiro's shoulder..." Feliciano shook his head slowly. It was just another worry on top of a bigger one, and ...God why did this even happen? Rai sighed a little but ended up catching a bit of what Felis had said and looked back with a worried expression once more. That...wasn't good... [/scrolly]

Looked down at Winnie seeing he was asleep Justice returned him to his pokeball before getting up and walking over to the Duke, " Its good the others are alright. Though I must admit I'm still worried about my pokemon.. By the way I don't think we have been introduced. I'm Justice, Its a pleasure to meet you Sir." Justice said politely doing a curtsy. Every so often a nurse would come into check on her and adjust Elayne's medication should she require it but for the most part Elayne was left alone so that she would be able to rest. --- Miguel listened as Felis explained what had happened after they'd arrived at the hospital and sighed. He certainly hadn't been expecting to come back to this but Miguel was certainly glad that he had arrived when he had. Now that he had calmed somewhat hearing that Simeon was locked in the basement brought a smile to Miguel's features. In his opinion Simeon deserved worse than that for hurting Elayne so severely but for now that was all that could be done. "That is good at least..."Miguel commented about Simeon before hearing that something was wrong with Haiiro's shoulder. Frowning slightly, Miguel wished that he had arrived sooner...perhaps if he had been just a little faster this entire thing could have been avoided. "If that is the case what is he still doing at the castle..."Miguel replied quietly before sighing just as Justice stood up. In all the chaos Miguel had completely forgotten to introduce her to Felis and was now kicking himself for his lack of manners. This was certainly not how he wanted to introduce Justice to Felis or any of the others but it certainly couldn't be helped. Elly heard what Felis had said and rubbed against Rai comfortingly, trying to be as reassuring as she could. Hopefully things would turn out all right...[/scrolly]

As Justice stepped forwards and introduced herself, he found himself blinking briefly. Ah, this was... Miguel's little sister then. Memories of what he needed to talk about with Miguel came back again, and Felis wondered how he could have possibly forgotten them. A brief nod was given before Felis stood up abet shakily and managed a smooth bow. "A pleasure to meet you, I am Feliciano Rossi, Duke of the East," he replied. A hand went to his sleeve, yet Felis was caught off guard upon finding there no flower or such to present. For a few seconds, his face went from red to pale, and a sigh escaped him. "I wish we would have met under better circumstances, but regardless," he sighed offering a smile. Rai sighed and simply lay down on the floor after a moment. Man and the morning had started out so nicely. What the hell was wrong with everything?! [/scrolly]

Oh wow she had just... A weak smile came to Justice and she curtsied again. " Its alright, its great to put a face to the name. Miggy has told me so much about you and everyone else who lives in the castle." Justice said, she then turned to looked at Miggy and smiled. She then walked back over to Miggy and sat down in the chair next to him. As she did so her body started to tremble, the effects of seeing fire pokemon where starting to catch up with her now as she thought back to the battle before she had come here. Justice closed her eyes and tried to block though's thoughts from her mind but was having a hard time of it. [/scrolly]

The nurse from before came in again and asked her a few more questions which Elayne answered quite easily. What Elayne couldn't quite figure out was why she didn't recognize the nurse even when it seemed that she had been in the room before. The doctor came in a few moments later and asked if she thought she was feeling well enough to see visitors. Nodding her head, Elayne smiled as best she could only to find that the small action hurt. The doctor nodded and said something to the nurse before both left the room, leaving Elayne alone once more. --- Miguel watched as Felis introduced himself and couldn't help but smile slightly at Justice's reaction. He was still feeling pretty foolish about not making the introductions himself but that couldn't be helped now. When Justice sat down next to him again, Miguel looked at the doors, wondering how much time had passed. "I certainly wasn't expecting to come back to this..."Miguel sighed,"I'm glad that I came when I did though..."he continued quietly. Had he been any later...Miguel didn't know what would have happened. Haiiro had been there by the time he'd arrived true but even still... After a few moments Miguel realized that Justice was trembling and wrapped an arm around her, holding her close. "It's all right Justice..."Miguel said in a quiet, reassuring voice before looking over at Felis,"She's afraid of fire and subsuquently any fire pokemon..."he explained as he continued to hold Justice close. This was part of the reason he hadn't wanted her travelling on her own, Miguel knew how afraid she was of fire pokemon and it was almost impossible to go anywhere without seeing at least one. At the gardens there had been three...one of them being his own Rapidash...the knowledge that he had had a part in Justice's current state only made Miguel feel worse. Breathing out quietly, Miguel closed his eyes and simply held his sister close, hoping that she would calm down soon enough. Elly sighed and leaned against Rai a little, wondering pretty much the same thing as him. Once again Elly found herself wishing that she had went with Elayne...maybe if she had been there this wouldn't have happened...[/scrolly]

Meanwhile somewhere else in the world, Haiiro was getting twitchy. Though it would have been better for him to sit down, he constantly found himself pacing the room in which he had been in for the last few hours. His shoulder ached with a pain that seemed to refuse to go away even with time, but he did his best to ignore There were more things to worry about at the moment, and in truth, if he had managed to convince some of his pokemon, he probably would have been flying to the hospital already. However, Sai was unsure of his own abilities without Isa, and no one of his party seemed willing to listen to their damn trainer to do as they were told. However, in truth, they worried for him and didn't know if he would be able to withstand the moving more than anything.

Only a few seconds after Felis had hung up the phone, Lance had returned back into that room and was sitting simply watching Haiiro pace with a calm expression on his features. He had talked with the young man, but it seemed that having disregarded his words not to confront a certain redhead about what had happened, Haiiro had done so anyways and only served to anger himself thereafter. "Calm down," Lance stated only for Haiiro to stop and flash an irritated glare. Lance let it go. "I already told you that working yourself up was bad for your health, and yet you do it anyways," he sighed.

"It's not even that," Haiiro snapped a little harder than intended. "I... have you heard anything from them?" He asked. Lance hesitated before nodding. Haiiro froze in mid step and stared at the man.

"I heard just now that Elayne is stable, and they are simply waiting to see her," was the reply that was given. Haiiro sighed out quietly and shook his head silently. Lance remained calm still.

Meanwhile, Jayme Joy made it back again to the castle grounds then...

Back again to the hospital, Feliciano blinked as Justice spoke and slowly half smiled. "I'm surprised Miguel hasn't told me about you before, you are quite lovely my dear," he smiled briefly before mentally sighing. His thoughts were slowly trecking elsewhere again back to what he had to ask Miguel in private when he got the chance. Ah there was too much to do...But Felis was rapidly growing tired and unsure if he wanted to do it.

As Miguel explained Justice's reactions of sorts, Felis's lips pressed together briefly before relaxing again."We're a bit the same then," he hummed a little quietly looking back over to Justice. "I don't allow fire pokemon on the castle grounds, usually," he sighed weakly. Suddenly his thoughts went back again to the fact that without thinking, he had jumped on a giant flaming horse of all things...Good God what was he thinking? Feliciano didn't even know....

Rai didn't move but appreciated the gestures.

Cora looked down at her leg in irritation. It was still hurting but not as bad, if she had hurt it somehow she would not be pleased. She was so close to getting out of this blasted wheelchair and this boot. If she hurt it while flying around on Charizard who knows how many weeks this would set her back... Cora sighed and looked up to watch Haii pacing around the room. She was also worried about Elayne, she wanted to be at her sisters side but was here at the castle.. Cora said nothing and just looked out a window, though how she would love to go down to the basement and give that jerk who dared do this to her sister a piece of her mind... But alas she would not be able to get down there with her leg.. When Uncle Lance walked into the room Cora looked over at him and waited for any news of Elayne. She smiled in relief when he said that Elayne was stable and was going to be alright. " I'm glad to hear Elayne is going to be ok.. Though I would like to go see her." Cora said, looking at Uncle Lance.

Justice leaned into Miggy as she felt his arms around her once more. That helped her trembling a little, she always felt safe in his strong loving arms. At the Duke's complement Justice could not help but blush. She smiled and looked over at him, " T-thank you." she said softly. When Miggy went on and talked about her fear of fire Justice pulled away from him and buffed up her cheeks clearly not happy he said that.. It was not something she liked to talk about and did not really like to tell others about it... Though she had told several people while on the road.. " Miguel!" Justice still protested all the same. When Felis spoke again the young blond looked over at him and gasped when he said he feared fire as well. She... She had found someone like her and the Duke of the east of all people. " Its not that I hate fire pokemon.. In fact I think most of them are beautiful.. But my fear of fire keeps me from getting close to them...." Justice said with a sad expression.

Elayne was beginning to grow tired of several different doctors asking her the same questions over and over again and was starting to tire. A few moments passed by before the doctor left after saying something to the nurse. The nurse adjusted a few of Elayne's monitors and medication before leaving Elayne by herself. Weary from all the questions, Elayne once again drifted off to sleep, wondering what the others were doing. --- Miguel chuckled softly at Justice's reaction to Felis' compliment and sighed. He hadn't had much reason to talk about his family before and the subject had just never come up. At Justice's reaction to him telling Felis about her fear Miguel looked more amused then anything, especially after she realized that Felis was much like her. After Justice finished speaking Miguel wrapped his arm around her yet again, "It's all right princess,"he whispered before falling silent yet again. Elly continued to lay beside Rai and eventually drifted off to sleep beside him, exhausted from the emotionally tiring day.[/scrolly]

Lance frowned a little as Cora's request came. "With your injuries the way they are, it wouldn't be advisable to fly, and a carriage would be wasteful of a few hours," he replied sighing softly. Haiiro's eyes shot sideways at Lance, and for a few seconds, he couldn't find anything to say. "What about teleporting?" he replied after a moment. He knew Sai wasn't strong enough to go so far on his own but... Hadn't there been an Alakazam or something earlier? Haiiro's lip twitched a little as he realized he had no real idea if that was even true or whether he had just been imagining it. Lance blinked and looked thoughtful remembering that there indeed had been an Alakazam in the group that had moved on back to the castle. "I don't know whose pokemon she is, but I believe there is an Alakazam," he replied.

Just then, a door opened into the room, and a pink haired young man walked inwards only to stop and stare for a few seconds at the room's contents. Briefly shifting his gaze between people, Jayme took a breath in sharply. "I......" Jayme stopped not even sure what he was trying to say.

Meanwhile Feliciano half smiled at Justice's words. "I see," was all he replied back with. On a better day, he would have jumped on the idea that someone knew how he felt, but at the moment, worry and an excess of walking around had made him a little tired to say the very least of it. That and the thought that bringing up what had happened to his immediate family might somehow jinx Elayne's condition didn't appeal to him at all at the moment. "I heard you were running around for a while," he chuckled quietly glancing at Justice again.
