Things Left Unsaid (Jay/Cora)

Justice smiled at Jayme words and kept on drawing. Though when he spoke up again Justice stopped and looked up at him. When Jayme asked if she could draw for him sometime, Justice gave a surprised look, blushed and smiled. " I- I would love to draw for you. I-is there anything you would like me to draw?" Justice asked softly. This was the first time anyone had asked her to draw for them. So it felt like a honer that Jayme asked this of her.

Cora stopped when Miguel and Felis asked if she wanted to help. Part of her wanted to but another part just wanted to sit there and think.. Cora took a deep breath and exhaled, she then turned around and looked up at the Knight and his Duke. It may worry them if she said no and now that she thought about it. it would be better to be busy then just sitting around letting her anger grow. Cora gave a weak smile and nodded, " Yeah I guess I can help. I'm no good with flowers so I guess I can blow up some balloons." Cora said and started to wheel over to the balloons.

Felis had only just started to cheer up and Miguel didn't want to see the duke as hurt and worried as he had been earlier. Granted the situation that they had found themselves in was less than ideal but Miguel was at least glad that everybody seemed to be in better spirits despite what had happened. Upon hearing Cora say she was going to help with balloons, Miguel nodded and watched as she wheeled towards the balloons. Now that Felis as feeling better and Cora had since rejoined the group, Miguel found himself not quite sure what to do next. Most of the decorations meant for Elayne's room had been finished leaving little that Miguel could do to help. Looking at the decorations that had been finished a small smile came to Miguel's features as he wondered how they were going to carry all of the gifts to Elayne's room. "Do you think we should bring some of the finished decorations to Elayne's room now or wait until they're all done?"Miguel asked after a few moments. --- Elayne closed her eyes briefly at Nathan's reply and tightened her grip on Haii's hand slightly. She wasn't entirely sure what to say in reply to Nathan's comment about what had happened to her and in truth would have preferred to avoid the subject entirely. Her memories still remained in tact after all...though some part of her wished that wasn't the case... As much as she hated hurting those around her even if it was unintentional and the result of her injuries, Elayne wished she could forget the incident entirely. The scene kept replaying in her mind...over and over again like some bad movie. She could still see Simeon's face as he punched her again and again...of all the things she could have forgotten why hadn't that been one of them... Breathing out slowly, Elayne's eyes settled on Nathan once again as he said something about a headache. "...I told him no...stood up to him...tried to run..."Elayne began in an attempt to explain what had happened before Haii yelled at Nathan. Wincing slightly at the words as much as how loud they had been said, Elayne squeezed Haii's hand a little more, hoping that the small action would calm him down at least a little. "Haii...it's not his fault..."Elayne whispered.[/scrolly]

A soft blush and a gentle smile came to Jayme's features as Justice replied that she would would love to draw for him. The sudden instantaneous doubt that had plagued him briefly was quickly swept away, and a more excited smile came to his features as he thought over what he could ask to be drawn. He could easily say his pokemon. Those were always with him, and he could have them pose or something. However, there was so much else that he could ask for too. Some part of him was aware of the fact that he could always ask for more things when the time came, but for now he was struggling to come up with something that could really be sentimental later on... Oh! "Uhm...h-how about m-me?" he asked after a moment a weak smile coming to his features even as he asked. It was only as this escaped from his mouth that he was aware of how silly and borderline selfish it sounded, but still he persisted as best he could. As he noticed Cora from his periphrial vision, Jayme's head looked sideways at her. "Need any help?" he asked after a moment.

As Cora agreed to help with the balloons, Feliciano smiled glad to see that she was willing to help and hoping that she possibly felt better. At Miguel's words, Felis nearly jumped a little not quite sure why his heart jumped into his chest full of fright as it had. However, after a few seconds, he looked back at Miguel with a smile. "I would say we could take a few of the fished things to her," he replied nodding his head before looking down at what was indeed finished including a few of the already done up balloons. Taking some of the flowers and a balloon, Felis looked back towards Miguel for a moment waiting for the other man to follow before proceeding.

Haiiro's blood pressure was through the roof but he barely noticed it as he leered at Nathan searing with clear anger. Nathan regarded the dark haired young man with a calm demeanor back. It was clear a chord had been struck, but now the redhead was left to debate just how he wanted to address it. His head shifted a little as he listened to Elayne's words before giving a brief nod of understanding. Haiiro growled yet again, but at Elayne's hand squeeze and her words, Haiiro relaxed if only just a little. Noting this, Nathan mentally folded the general diffusion of the bomb of sorts and kept it for later. "My sincerest apologies," the redhead replied giving a bow and causing Amina to bow with him in turn. "I should have kept a better eye on him among other things... I will make sure that this is dealt with accordingly." Little did Nathan know in that moment that Lance Rossi was dealing with it in his own personal way.

Justice blinked but then smiled when Jayme asked if she could draw him. She did not think that was selfish at all, in fact when she got requests most of them where asking if she could draw them in some cool way or pose. " Ok, I will make sure to do my best on it." Justice said softly looking at Jayme to get to know his face a little better. After she was sure she would remember she went back to the drawing she was working on. She would draw few more for Elayne and then start drawing for Jayme.


Cora looked blankly at the balloons and helium tank used to fill them. ( sorry guessing what is being used) Never have used those before Cora really was unsure how to work it and fill up the balloons. As if he was reading her thoughts Jayme asked if she needed help. Cora looked over at him giving a weak smile and rubbed the back of her head. "Yeah.. I could use some help.." Cora said.

Perhaps they had gone a little...overboard in preparing gifts for Elayne but then again it had cheered everyone up in the end. With that in mind the fact that the sheer number of assorted gifts didn't seem quite as excessive. At Felis' suggestion, Miguel nodded and picked up a couple stuffed animals and balloons before following the duke down the hallway. It didn't take long before they reached Elayne's room and walked inside to find that Haii was indeed still there along with Nathan and Amina. Miguel however hardly took note of the latter two when he caught sight of the state Elayne was in and had to fight to quell the sudden rage that filled him. This...that monster had done this...all because he hadn't been there to protect her...Elayne shouldn't have had to suffer...nobody deserved to suffer like this... As it was Miguel just barely managed to reign back his rage and retain the appearance of calm...it would do no good to get mad after all and there was no sense in worrying Elayne. The only sign that Miguel was angry at all was the hand that held the strings of the balloons; his grip had tightened so much on the ribbons tied to the balloons that his knuckles had turned white. This however was hardly discernable and Miguel preferred to keep it that way."Elayne..."Miguel began quietly before falling silent, not quite sure what to say until he remembered the animals he was holding and set them down on a table further in the room. The balloons however remained in his still clenched fist for the time being if only to give him an excuse to keep his fist clench and thereby his anger in check. It made sense now...why Felis and Jayme had been so angry...this was his fault...he had failed yet again and this time Elayne had been the one to pay the price... How many more times would his negligance cause those around him to suffer... --- Elayne was relieved that Haii had indeed relaxed at her quiet words and breathed out quietly before Nathan spoke once again. To say Elayne was surprised at the apology was an understatement; it hadn't been Nathan's fault...if anything it had been hers... She should have known better than to go outside alone knowing that Simeon might know of her whereabouts after the discussion with her uncle that day... "...thank you...but...it wasn't your...fault..."Elayne began quietly, "...I shouldn't have...left alone..."she continued before closing her eyes, wishing that the simple act of speaking didn't tire her out so much...or hurt for that matter... A few moments later the sound of approaching footsteps reached her ears as two people stepped into the room. Oh no...that was right...she couldn't recognize people...how could she have forgotten. Looking over at Haii, she hoped that he would name the two people before her lest she wound those around her further. It was either that or wait until one of them spoke...hopefully that would happen...if it didn't she wouldn't know what to do... Thankfully one of the men did in fact speak her name...it was quiet but at least Elayne was able to place a name to the strange face. The one bearing the stuffed animals and balloons was Miguel...did that mean that the other blond was Felis... Elayne couldn't tell for certain but she certainly hoped that was the case...if it wasn't...well...she didn't really want to thank about that right now...[/scrolly]

Jayme smiles just as softly back at Justice glad that she was willing to fulfill his request when she had the time. She was really nice....really nice. Though he had really met her just a while ago now, she was comfortable to be around. Looking forwards towards the banner, Jayme found himself looking up again after that realizing that Feliciano and Miguel had disappeared somewhere in the mix of things. As Cora stated that she would need some help, the pink haired young man got up and went over to help moving things around just a little for Cora to reach them better among other simple things.

Nathan half smiled at Elayne's words before shaking his head. "If you wish to go that blame route, then we should start blaming the world while we're at it," he stated with a soft chuckle that caused Amina to smile just a little. Nathan had his own sense of humor at times, really. Haiiro resisted the urge to cringe at Nathan's laugh and just scowled a little. As the sounds of someone coming towards the room caught Nathan's ears, the redhead turned not towards the door but towards Amina who quickly scanned over the thoughts and recognized them well enough. 'The Duke and his knight' was the quiet projection Amina gave to Nathan, and that was all the redhead needed. Looking back, Nathan found that Haiiro was staring at him particularly hard. A brief smirk came to Nathan's features. This one was so harsh sometimes.

Felis found himself pulling open the door of Elayne's room before he even realized it. Unlike Miguel, Feliciano did take notice of Nathan and Amina in the room as he came inwards, and for a few seconds, he tensed confused as to how the two got in there. However, a quick reminder that Nathan came and went when he pleased, reminded Felis that he should just deal with it as it was. Blue eyes met grey ones, and for a few seconds, a soundless understanding came between the blond and redhead man. "Duke Rossi," Nathan stated aloud causing Felis to smile weakly. How many times had he corrected him now? He had been sure that he had gotten the man to call him Felis by now.

"Nathan," Felis stated after a moment. "You know better than that."

"I know," was the only reply. "I was just taking my leave." Nathan nodded causing Felis to nod as well. Taking hold of Amina's hand, Nathan asked Amina briefly, and she understood quickly teleporting them away.

Haiiro's eyes had watched verything, yet for some reason whether it was the headache that was starting to work itself in the back of his head or what, he found him processing it slower than before. The medication he had been given might have had something to do with it too. "Felis, Miguel," he mumbled after a moment.

Cora got to work the best she could on the balloons. With Jayme helping it made things easier then would be without help.. But she wished she could do things on her own.. But no she was back in cast, and would have to wait a few more months before she could even get back into a boot again. Lost in her thoughts Cora did not say anything to Jayme as she worked. Her frustration, building but remembering to keep it in check and hoped no one would notice. But knowing her luck someone would.

Justice was done now with a drawing she then stated on another. A she did so she would look up time from time to watch Jayme and the other girl called Cora work on the balloons. Even though she was doing somthing Cora did not look very happy, perhaps later she would talk to Cora like she talked to Jayme. She did not know it would help but it would be worth a shot. But for now she would finish her drawings and hoped that Elayne would like them.

It was true that the world they lived in was hardly a good one but...why should she blame the world when it was her own foolishness that had brought her here. Elayne didn't have time to think on Nathan's words anymore however before Miguel and Felis stepped into the room, distracting her from Nathan entirely. With her inability to recognize faces, Elayne felt herself begin to panic at the thought of hurting her friends even more. That was assuming the two men were indeed people she had know. Forcing herself to relax, Elayne did her best to remain calm and hope that the men would either speak or a name would be spoken. Thankfully Nathan had referred to one of the men as Duke Rossi...that meant he was Felis then... The other man had already spoken as well, even if he had only spoken her name quietly but it was enough for Elayne to recognize him as Miguel. At least she hoped that she was correct... It wasn't until Felis said Nathan's name that Miguel realized that someone else other than Haii and Elayne was in the room. Kicking himself for being so rude as to not address the other occupant of the room, Miguel tied the balloons he had been holding in a near vice grip to a nearby table leg and bowed slightly. No sooner had he done this however that Nathan and Amina vanished into thin air as Amina teleported them away. With nothing else to distract him, Miguel's attention drew back to Elayne once again. The pain he saw in her eyes only served to make his failure that much worse. How could one man do this....there was no reason such a thing had to occur...Elayne shouldn't have had to suffer for his failure. Words failed him in that moment as Miguel struggled to maintain his composure. There was no need to worry Elayne further...she had been through enough already... Quite oblivious to Miguel's inner turmoil, Elayne watched as Nathan disappeared before turning her attention to who she assumed to be Felis and Miguel. When Haiiro finally did speak, Elayne relaxed and breathed out quietly, not realizing that she had been so tense up until that point. A soft groan escaped her as she relaxed her muscles once again only to find that they were now screaming at her for straining them in the first place. She felt so weak...it seemed like it would be forever before Elayne could even think of feeling 'normal' again. Still...she had guessed the names correctly and that made her feel better...if only just a little. After a few moments, Elayne caught sight of the gifts that the two men had brought with them and smiled slightly despite the slight pain it caused. "You...did this...for me...?"Elayne whispered, glad to have something else to focus on other than how miserable she was or the fact she couldn't seem to remember people. She hadn't expected anyone to bring her anything...it was enough to know that they were there, that they still cared even after how much trouble she had caused. This though...it made the room seem a little...brighter...somehow.[/scrolly]
