Meeting a new friend. { MOD/open}

Cora was flying on the back of her Charzard to Evergreen city where she heard the Pokemon Shinx could be found. But it was super rare so she knew this could take a while. As she came closer she raised a eyebrow.Evergreen city did not look like it lived up to its name due to all the buildings and how little greenery there was. Cora just shrugged her shoulders and patted Charzard's neck. [glow=blue,2,300]" We made it pal, now were are going to be here a while... So think of it as home till we can catch a new friend."[/glow] Cora said with a smile, looking lovingly at her friend Charzard.

Charzard turned his head so he could look back at Cora with one eye and smiled and nodded. [glow=red,2,300]" Yes Cora, Though city living is not my favorite, It will be worth it getting a new friend or to." [/glow]Charzard said and looked forward again. His wings gliding with the wind carrying him and Cora to Evergreen city. Cora smiled at her friend then started to look down for a good place to land. After a few minutes of looking she saw a clearing just out side the city. Pointing she said,[glow=blue,2,300]" Charzard! I see a spot where we can land. When we land we can start looking around."[/glow]

Charzard nodded and started to descend. After a few minutes Charzard was close to the ground and started to flap his wings to slow down and hover. After he was slowed down he landed putting his feet in the ground and folded up one wing and held out the other like a slide so Cora could get down. Cora then at
up and slied down Charzard's wing landing on the ground and turned to look at her friend. [glow=blue,2,300]" Thank you Charzard."[/glow] Cora said happily and walked over in front of Charzard. Charzard lowered his head and Cora petted his muzzle and hugged him then pulled away. [glow=blue,2,300]" Its time to let you rest my old friend."[/glow] Cora said with a smile and took out Charzard's poke ball and opened it up and pointed it him. [glow=blue,2,300]" That was long flight over here."[/glow]

Charzard nodded. [glow=red,2,300]" Yes.. I could do with a good nap.."[/glow] Charzard said with a yawn.

[glow=blue,2,300]" Charzard! Return!"[/glow] Cora commanded and a red light came out of the poke ball and went around Charzard putting him back in his ball. Cora then put Charzard's ball away and started to make her way into Evergreen city, wondering what advancer she was going to have next.

Not far from where the girl had landed, a Rattata scurried around surprised that there had been a landing of all things. The sudden drop of a Charizard, a fire type pokemon, had spooked her into believing that it was going to burn everything. However, when it was returned to its pokeball, the Charizard became less of a worry, and now the Rattata was somewhat curious as to the human that had come with the fire lizard. Stepping forwards, the Rattata came into view.

Cora walked getting closer to entering Evergreen city, from the corner from her eye she thought she saw a Pokemon. Turning to look she saw it was a cute little Rattata. Cora blinked then tilted her head, closed her eyes and smiled warmly at the little Pokemon. Opening here eyes she knelt down and she took off her camping backpack unzipping it and took out some Pokemon food and opened it up. She then looked back at the Rattata and smiled again taking out a few bits of Pokemon food. [glow=blue,2,300]" Your no shinx, but your sure are cute. Here little one have some. I'm sure my other Pokemon would not mind sharing their food."[/glow] Cora said tossing the food over where Rattata was standing. [glow=blue,2,300]" I hope you like it, little one."[/glow] Said Cora smiling and she closed the pokemon food and put it back into her backpack. Cora then stood back up and picked up her backpack and put it back on her back and turned to leave. She always thought Rattata where cute and hated how most people where mean to them. So whenever she got the chance she would show kindness to one. [glow=blue,2,300]" Now... I have to fugure out how to track a Shinx.."[/glow] She thought as she started to walk away.

[Jay]

The Rattata blinked at receiving the food and then held it for a few seconds longer before eating it. Starting to follow the girl despite any sort of thought that would have prevented this, the Rattata continueed to move silently behind the girl as though she were not going to give up on an interesting food source.

Cora did not notice that the Rattata was following her. As she walked she thought her Mudkip and Treecko would like to come out and stretch their legs and run around a little, for its been a little while from the last time she let them out. Taking out two poke balls she said. [glow=blue,2,300]" Come on out!! Mudkip and Treecko!!"[/glow] Then Cora threw them and when they hit the ground they popped open with a flash of light and Mudkip and Treecko formed from the light. Treecko was in a fighting stance and japing at the air like he was ready to fight.

[glow=green,2,300]Tree...cko.... Treecko!"[/glow] said Treecko now doing a few back flips trying to look tough. Then Treecko blinked and realized he was not called out to fight a battle. He then put his paw on the back of his head laughing sheepishly then looked around he saw Mudkip, Cora Then... A Rattata?? He saw the Rattata behind Cora and grinned mischievously at the Rattata.

When Mudkip formed she was sitting and looking happily up at Cora with a grin and started to sing. [glow=brown,2,300]" Mud kip Mud Kip Mupkip!![/glow] She sang in a cute little tune. When she was done she looked at Treecko and rolled her eyes... He had that look in his eye again... But she was not going to say anything about it and looked around at there surroundings and saw they where in a city. Looking around again this time she noticed the Rattata behind Cora. [glow=brown,2,300]" Mud?"[/glow] Mudkip said in a questing tone and started to walk over to the Rattata.

Cora looked at her Pokemon and wondered what they where looking at and turned as Mudkip walked over to Rattata. blinking Cora looked at the Rattata then shook her head. [glow=blue,2,300]" Guess I should not have given it food... Sorry Rattata, I can't give you anymore food. Go home now please."[/glow] Cora said not wanting anything to happen to this Pokemon.

[Jay]

The Rattata blinked at the Treecko and said nothing for a moment. Then she looked at the girl and sat back on her hind legs. "Ratttta," she said aloud and pointed to her mouth in the terms of 'more food please'. Not far off, a sound of rustling hit the air before falling silent again.

Cora smiled sheepishly and put her hand on top of her head. Wondering if she should give the Rattata some food? Or just tell it again she can't give it anymore.... [glow=blue,2,300]" Oh man... What should I do?"[/glow] Cora thought. Cora then thought about it for a few minutes lowered her arm to her side and shook her head again. [glow=blue,2,300]" Sorry, little one. It would not be good if you got used to humans feeding you. In fact I should not have given you anything at all. Sorry."[/glow] Said Cora in a sorry tone of voice. Then that's when she heard the rustling near by and looked around and got on guard. Not liking that fact she could not see the Pokemon that did that she started to back up. Listening to the sounds around her Cora tired to figure out what other Pokemon was near by. Not hearing anything else must mean the Pokemon is not moving around and is sitting still... Possibly watching the small group... Looking at the Rattata she gave it a pleading look for it to go away. She would know it was her fault if something where to happen to it. [glow=blue,2,300]" Please Rattata, go home now please." [/glow] Cora whispered and started to look around again.


Mudkip was now standing next to Rattata and heard that Cora wanted it to go home so she was going to try talking to the Rattata to help Cora out. [glow=brown,2,300]" Mud Kip Mud. Mud mudKip."[/glow]" Mudkip said telling the Rattata that Cora wanted her to go home. Then that's when Mudkip also heard the rustling and knew that could be a Pokemon. Friendly or mean? She did not know but knew it would not be fun if that Pokemon attacked this Rattata. Hearing Cora ask it to go home again, Mudkip spoke to Rattata. [glow=brown,2,300]" Mudkip mud! Mud mud Mudkip."[/glow] Mudkip said saying that Pokemon that made the rustling sound might be dangerous and its best that you leave.


Treecko was about to to pull some sort of a prank on Rattata when he noticed the rustling sound and Cora looking nervous. Also wanting that Rattata to leave. But Treecko did not care if that Rattata stayed or not. He was more interested in the Pokemon that was near by that he could not see at the moment.
Getting into a fighting stance Treecko got ready for a fight. Looking around his eyes and ears listening and watching.. Nothing was going to sneak up on him if he had anything to say about it.

[Jay]

The Rattata blinked, sighed, and turned her head to one side giving an even more pleading look than the human had given aimed at both the human and the Mudkip who had tried to get her to leave. After a moment, she got a fraction irritated and looked at the Mudkip once more before puffing up. However, the sound came again and caused the Rattata to stop and look around. Her eyes widened as she knew what it was, and in half a second, the mouse pokemon was fleeing the area as quick as possible.

A steady growl began to come form the bushes, and a Poochyena jumped outwards bearing his fangs and growling at those that had entered his territory. Lowering himself to the ground in a pounce sort of attack mode, the Poochyena growled even more before rushing forwards straight at the Treecko about to use a Bite attack.

As soon as the Poochyena came out and started to attack Treecko, Cora went to battle mode knowing there was no way talking to the Poochyena would work and she needed to protect her own Pokemon. [glow=blue,2,300] "Treecko!!! Dodge and use bullet seed!!" [/glow] Cora commanded and was already trying to think two moves ahead. Besides Charzard, Treecko was the a good fighter. Mudkip is good to but still needed more training.
Cora watched on and could only hope this battle would not end badly.

Treecko jumped into the air and almost got bit by the bite attack. While still in the air Treecko opened his mouth and used bullet seed at the Poochyena and landed on a tree. [glow=green,2,300]" Treecko!!!! Tree tree treecko!"[/glow] Treecko cried out all pumped up and ready to fight and looked down at the Poochyena Treecko put its paw under its eye pulled down the skin under the eye and stuck out its tongue. Taunting the Poochyena and laughed.


Mudkip after the Rattata ran off ran back to Cora and turned around and cheered for Treecko to beat Poochyena.

[glow=blue,2,300]" Treecko!! Use slam attack on Poochyena now!" [/glow] Cora commanded.

Treecko then jumped down from the tree and was going to try to hit Poochyena with slam attack.

[Jay]

As the Bullet Seed rained down on the Poochyena dodged the attack for the most part but was hit on his hind leg. Getting more irritated by this instead of backing off, the Poochyena turned and backed before shoting off a Dark Pulse just as the Slam came towards him. He refuse dto give up that easily!

Cora watched as Poochyena fought her Treecko. And saw how stubborn and brave it was.. Most wild Poochyena would have ran off.. But not this one. Cora started to like the spirit of this Poochyena and was thinking it would make a great new member to her little team/family. Now.. If she could only catch it... Cora's eyes grew wide when the Poochyena used Dark Pulse for it was too close for Treecko to dodge. [glow=blue,2,300]" Treecko!!"[/glow] Cora called out.

Mudkip's eyes also grew wide when Treecko was going to get hit and started to wine a little worried for its friend. [glow=brown,2,300]" Mudkip!! Muuud!!"[/glow] Mudkip cried out in a worried tone.

As Treecko came down to do Slam attack it got hit dead on by the Dark Pulse unable to even try to dodge it. Treecko was then sent back flying a little ways and landed on its back on the ground. Now that hurt.... The Dark Pulse damaged Treecko but it could still fight and was not about to lose to this blasted Poochyena!!! Treecko got up with a angry expression on its face and glared at Poochyena wanting to take it out now...[glow=green,2,300]Tree.....Cko....."[/glow] He said as he stood up and was waiting for Cora to tell him what to do next...

Cora took the cue. [glow=blue,2,300]" Treecko!! Use Maga Drain!! Then follow with a Agility then use Slam again!!"[/glow]Cora commanded.

Treeko started to glow and used Maga Drain on Poochyena taking its energy to heal its self. After half way healing it self using Maga Drain Treecko then used Agility to get close to Poochyena with with full power tried to use slam on Poochyena.

[Jay]

The Poochyena was unable to dodge the Mega Drain and instead found himself drained. He yipped a fraction in pain before suddenly finding that the Treecko was right in front of him. The slam hit smack on and caused the dark type dog to fall back. However, he managed to catch himself and bared his fangs again ready to attack once more. Running forwards, he tried yet another Bite attack. However, his energy was diminished, and he found himself running slower than before.

Cora watched on and just loved how stubborn and strong this Poochyena is.... Cora smiled for she loved challenges like this... Moments like this is what being a Pokemon trainer was about. As a trainer it was her duty to try her best and catch this Poochyena and raise it. That would also be a challenge that she got exited about just thinking about it. Watching both Poochyena and Treecko she could see the battle was talking its toll on both Pokemon. Bit thanks to the Maga Drain Treecko still had power to fight but was starting to show signs of growing tried. But Cora knew that Treecko would fight with everything he got.
[glow=blue,2,300]" Treecko! Use Double team, followed with Agility. Then pullet seed again! [/glow]Cora commanded.

Mudkip watched cheering for Treecko, jumping up and down.

Treecko heard Cora. jumped back and did Double team around Poochyena then after a few minutes all the image's of Treecko came at Poochyena using Agility then at close range used pullet seed.


Cora watched and hoped that would make Poochyena faint. If not she would have to call back Treecko and use Mudkip in the battle. She was not going to give up... She was going to catch this Poochyena even if it meant Shinx would have to wait.

[Jay]

The Poochyena was not about to give up even in the face of all the clones. Shooting off a Dark Pulse at as many of the clones as possible, the dark dog found that there were still too many of the Treecko, and in another minute, he was hit by the Bullet Seed. The pup yelped and was about to fall over. However, in another moment, he dug his heels into the ground and growled fiercely refusing to give in even if it meant he'd be knocked out cold for the next few hours. Growling once more, he charged forwards with as much energy as he could muster and shot off a Dark Pulse trying to hit not only the last of the clones but also the Treecko himself. What he wouldn't admit to himself was that he was slowly becoming extremely tired.

Cora watched and gritted her theeth when the Poochyena did not go down. But that just made her want it all the more. She was about to call Treecko back when to her surpise Treecko stood back up. Then she smiled, that was her Treecko... Never gave up... But she was also worried about Treecko... But then she saw something that shocked her.. Treecko's tail was started to glow... [glow=blue,2,300]" No way.... That can't be what I think that is it?[/glow] Cora thought as her mouth dropped open.

Mudkip blinked when she saw Treecko's tail start to glow, smiled and started to jumped up and down even more. [glow=brown,2,300]" Mudkip!!!! Muuuud kiiiiip!!!"[/glow] She chreered happily.

Treeko saw the Dark Pulse coming and tried to move but he has lost speed due to useing so much power and was hit in the arm but wave of the blast sent falling to his back... But Treecko.... Was not going to give up. Even though he was tired he still had some fight in him. Slowly Treecko stood up and his tail started to glow and useing all the power he could muster ran at Poochyena then jumped in the air and came down hard with what was the last of his power and used iron on Poochyena. Knowing it would hit for Poochyena was now it every weak. So was Treecko but he refused to go down till after Poochyena did.

Cora took out on of her emtey pokeballs ready to catch the Poochyena if it fainted.

[Jay]

The Poochyena was struck by the Iron Tail hard, yet he remained standing frozen as though afraid to move in case it cause him to fall. He stood there for a good solid five seconds until his muscles twitched, and he fell straight forwards unable to force himself back up.

Cora watched the Poochyena as it for the five seconds but it seemed a whole lot longer. Her heart beating fast and when the Poochyena fell Cora threw the poke ball at it and the ball bounce on the Poochyena opend and a white light came out and made Poochyena go inside the poke ball. The ball landed on the ground and Cora watched as it shook. Her heart pounding hopeing it would stay in the ball.

Treecko was on all fours looking at the poke ball. And feared it would come out knowing he could not go on... If it got out it would be up to Mudkip to fight with it.

Mudkip watched ready to attack if that Poochyena got out.

[Jay]

The pokeball twitched once... and twice... a third time! Yet after that, it was silent and remained on the ground. The Poochyena had been caught.

Cora smiled big when she caught Poochyena and ran forward and picked up the poke ball and looked at it smiling. But before she could celebrate she had to get both Poochyena and Treecko looked at and even healed if she could. Putting Poochyena's ball away and picking up Treecko who was passed out on the ground now. Holding her injured friend Cora started to run into the city to look for a place she could take her Pokemon... A Pokemon center would be nice but anywhere would be fine as long as she could get her Pokemon helped.

Mudkip ran beside Cora with a worried expression on her face. Hoping that Treecko would be alright... Also the the new friend Cora just caught. [glow=brown,2,300]" Muuud kiiip Mud..."[/glow] She said on a worried tone.

Cora did not look down but heard Mudkip sounding worried. [glow=blue,2,300]" Its ok Mudkip. Everything will be fine."[/glow] Cora trying to comfort Mudkip, as they ran down the side walks looking for a place where Pokemon could be taken care of.

There was no pokemon center in sight, yet not far off, there was a local herb shop that allowed one to replenish his pokemon using the grasses and herbs of the area. A man was sweeping out front and noticed the girl running with a Treecko in her arms. The Treecko appeared to be fainted, and that could only mean one thing at least to the man. The girl was running to the Pokemon center that was all the way on the other side of the town. Deciding that it would be a better fix at his herb place, the man clasped his hands in a tunnel arch around his mouth and called out. "Miss! If you're pokemon is hurt, you can come over here!"
