RYDER

Ryder sighed as she ran her hands in the grass, feeling the warm breeze on her face. She loved the warm breeze, and she closed her eyes feeling another breeze. Her Charizard was sitting next to her, also enjoying the breeze as it opened its wings to let the breeze hit them. She smiled thinking about Zane, which is what she named her Charizard. He had stayed with her, through the darkness while her other pokemon left her. She would never forgive herself for going dark, but there was nothing she could do about that. All she had now was her pokemon, and her brother Brenden. She was given a second chance, and she was going to make up for her past, even though others would say that it wasn't that bad of a past. That she shouldn't be so hard on herself about not being able to find off that evil person. But she did, she blamed this all on herself, and she didn't think she would ever be able to stop thinking of it that way. After sometime she got to her feet, knowing that she had to find some pokemon, the more the better.

[Puppet]

Somewhat nearby, a Roselia danced, twirling it's roses around and around as it frolicked in the beautiful weather. Aah, it was so nice to be a grass type today! She lifted her head to the sun, eyes closed, and breathed deeply. Summer was the highlight of her life.

[Ryder]

RYDER

Her blue eyes flashed as she looked at Zane and she grinned. Her bond with Zane would always be strong, they were connected in a way that she swore she could almost read his mind. She knew that Charizards were hard to train, but once you trained one, and eared its trust, your bond would last till death do you part. She saw Zane's eyes flicker open, as he let out a small cry, that was really a roar. Her gaze followed his to see the Roselia spinning in the warm weather. She knew that with Zane's type, this battle would be easy, unless this Roselia loved to use its poisionpowder, or sleeppowder, then it wouldn't be good. That was one annoying thing about grass types, but a grass type was still strong and she wasn't going to pass one up. She nodded to Zane who spread his wings, and shooting the flamethrower out of its mouth. Though it wasn't aimed at the other pokemon, it was just a show, a cue that it wanted to battle. A few seconds after Zane approached, letting out its roar.

"Zane, flamethrower!" A single command, and she wanted as once again the flames spewed from its mouth, aiming for the grass type.

[Puppet]

The Roselia was startled out of it's cheery mood by the roar of the Charizard as it approached. She stared up at Zane with a look of positive horror across her face. But as the Flamethrower scorched towards her, she somersaulted out of the way. She was an agile little thing, and though her attacks would be weak against it, she would assure that the fight was not easily won. She plucked a piece of grass near her with her rose-hands, and began to blow on it serenely. A Grass Whistle attack sounded throughout the park.

RYDER

Ryder watched as the grass pokemon moved quickly, and she was shocked that the attack missed. She looked at Zane knowing that Zane wasn't very happy about the attacking missing, but she knew that he would get over it. Though when the Roselia struck back with grasswhistle, she cringed, the last thing she needed was Zane to be knocked out. "Zane fly up now!" She watched the dragon shoot up into the sky, flying higher and higher to avoid the sound of the music. She looked back at the grass type, stronger and more sly then she thought. "Air slash." Another command, as she waited for Zane to come back down, and saw the wind start to curl, and heard the sound of air cutting through air. The large gust of wind aimed again for the Roselia as Zane soon after landed closer to Ryder.

[Puppet]

The Roselia was too busy playing joyfully to notice that the Charizard had gone, or that an attack was already swishing towards it. Air sliced into it's small body, and she cried out in pain and shock. Staggering back to her feet, a Shadow Ball attack began to form between her two roses. She pulled back one arm, then hurled the dark matter towards the airborne dragon, hoping to bring it back down.

RYDER

She watched as the grass type attacked again, and heard Zane give a cry as the dark balls hit its wings. The buckled a bit, but Zane quickly pulled himself back and stayed in the air. She knew that Zane was in some pain, by the way he only flapped when he needed to, but it wasn't going to knock him out. She heard his roar of anger, and saw him flying lower, and she didn't even have to call out the attack, as she saw the fire again spew from his mouth, and hurl towords the grass type once again. She knew at times Zane could let his anger get the best of him, but thats what made a Charizard a Charizard. If he didn't have a temper on him, she would be worried.

off in the distance Ari heard a battle going on so of course he went to go check it out. "a charizard fighting a roselia" he said before he almost fell over laughing. "i have got to get a closer view" and so Ari watched the battle off in the distance behind some trees this is exciting he thought. "wonder who will win he said sarcastically"

[Puppet]

Even though the Roselia realized what a lost cause her attempts to stand her ground were, she still did it anyway. Waving a rose before her face, she quickly cast a Protect barrier in front of her before the fire attack had even come close. From such a distance, she could see the moves coming from a long way off, even if she couldn't easily hit the Charizard back. Turning, she began to try and flee into the forest, running into the hidden trainer with a thud. Anger flashed in her eyes, and with a cry of fury, she sent a Stun Spore at his face.

RYDER

Zane snarled as his attacks didn't hit, and his wings lifted him up higher again. He saw the grass type turn and run, and quickly came back down to follow her to the forest. If she reached the forest, then he couldn't fight her anymore, he would lose her in the forest. Though he saw her stop, bumping into another person, and he felt the fire burn the roof of his mouth as he looked. He didn't land though he stayed in the air, wanting for Ryder to come.

Ryder narrowed her eyes as she watched Zane, and when the grass pokemon turned and fled, she ran after. Making sure that she stayed with them, and saw how annoyed Zane looked. She understand why he looked that way, when she saw another trainer, and she came to a stop.

Ari was lucky he had quick reflexes for the stun spore had hit his arm that he put in front of his face just in time. "its ok little one i'm not going to hurt you" he said in a soft tone. he then proceeded to sit down next to the Pokemon. then looked up to see the other trainer standing in front of him "hello there" he said with a smile he looked up at the charizard that looked really angry. "could you call him off please, i'd hate to get into a big fight" he said sweetly to try and not disturb Roselia.

[Puppet]

The Roselia was still a bit riled at first, unhappy that a trainer had disturbed it's beautiful day. But she could sense the good intentions coming off this other trainer, and swiftly ducked behind him as the Charizard approached. She could always flee if things got bad. After all, she was already on the edge of the forest.

[Ryder]

RYDER

Ryder sighed as she looked at the other person, and as the Roselia hid behind him. She looked up in the sky to see Zane, and motioned for him to come down, and after a few seconds he did. Landing next to Ryder, who set her hand on his muzzle. She could feel Zane relax under her touch, as he folded his wings in. "Hello, I assuming your just passing by like I am." With this area being so big, it was sometimes odd to run into others. This was the first person Ryder had seen since she came here with her brother Brenden. In a way she was glad that the area was so big, that she didn't have to worry about running into people every single day.

[MCstorms]

"yea I've never actually been here before my first time". "nice charizard you got there" he said in a sweet tone. "he looks very powerful so i'm sure you have more Pokemon so why did you have to use him to fight the tiny little Roselia?" he asked in a wondering way. AS he looked at the trainer and then at the charizard waiting for a response.

[Puppet]

The Roselia puffed out her chest at Ari's words. Tiny! Little! He makes me sound completely helpless! "I was holding my own, thankyouvery much." she complained in pokemon talk, even though only the Charizard could understand. Her sharp eyes pierced into his, her mouth set in a firm line of detemermination. "I could take you on again, you over grown lizard."

[Ryder]

RYDER

So this was his first time here as well, she wonder just how many other people were here, and if being here was there first time as well. "Thanks," The other trainer kept talking asking why she used Zane, and not her others. "Zane was already out, and plus his type is stronger then a grass, so it was best to use him." She looked at Zane as his fang clenched together, and he snorted.

Zane snorted looking at Roselia, "Unlikely. A wild pokemon can't beat a trained one." His wings staying close to his side. He wanted to get back on with the battle, but Ryder didn't tell him to, and he would obey his trainers orders, even if he didn't like them. He had his temper, that ran away with him sometimes, but his respect for Ryder kept it in place.

"fire vs grass a fire Pokemon would have the edge i suppose, but how can you fight something so cute!" he exclaimed for he loved cute things. "besides depending on the strength of the wild Pokemon do you really think you could hold your own against a gyradose?" he asked the charizard. "personally i don't believe you could" he said with a subconscious nasty tone. he looked at the Roselia to see how cute it was.

[Puppet]

The Roselia's leafs and petals ruffled up indignantly. "Of COURSE a wild pokemon can beat one whose just a pet. I've seen it happen plenty of times." Pointing her nose into the air, she turned her back on them, crossing her arms.

[Ryder]

RYDER

Ryder rolled her eyes, "Because I'm a trainer." She looked at Zane as he snorted fire coming out of his nose, and she sighed. "You'll have to excuse Zane, he has a bit of a temper." She knew that in time she would have to train Zane to control that temper, but for now she liked it. It made him who he was, and she wasn't sure that she would ever have him change. "The names Ryder, and this is Zane." She pointed to her Charizard, who was glaring at the grass type.

Zane snorted, "I'm not a pet, I'm a partner." He cast a look at the other male trainer, snorting as well, his tail waving wildly in the air, before a look from Ryder made his tail still. He could feel the fire burning the inside of his mouth, but he kept the fire back.

Ari looked at the trainer "my name is Ari" he said confidentiality. then he looked at zane and pulled a poke-ball to his hand and then a white flash occurred and he released Blaze. "since your a trainer how about a battle?" he asked politely. "winner gets Roselia?" he said with a smile then looked at the little Pokemon.
