[Puppet]

The Buterfree did a barrel-roll, the five pointed flames sailing by. It hovered for a moment, then lashed out with a burst of psychic energy. The Psybeam moved towards the Ninetails, distorting the air around it. The bug pokemon let out a little trill of a battle cry, and followed up it's move with a Gust attack, flapping it's wings hard till the air swirled.

RYDER

Watching as the Butterfree was able to avoid the attack, and then came back with a psychic attack. It hit Artemis head on, but the fox pokemon only shook her head, and snarled at the bug. She was going to call out an attack when she felt the wind start to pick up, and knew that the Butterfree was causing it with its gust attack. With the wind acting crazy like this, Ryder knew that fire attacks would be a waste of their time right now. "Artemis payback." Watching the dark energy form, as it was shot at the Butterfree.

[Puppet]

The Butterfree's wind attack stopped as it was blasted with the dark energy, thrown askew from it's aerial position. Flapping hard, it managed to swoop away from being completely knocked out of the air, but was still in a vulnerable position. Panicked, it shot of a Shadow Ball to keep the fox busy.

RYDER

Watching as the black shadow of mass came shotting at her, Artemis jumped out of the way. Panting for a few seconds she looked at the bug pokemon, the flames gathering in her mouth. Shotting out a hot flamethrower, and letting out a short growl to herself. Her nine tails flying up in the air as she moved, caughting the wind, and cooling her body somewhat.

[Puppet]

Quickly, the bug used Endure, and braced itself for the attack. Flames buffeted it's graceful body, and it collapsed to the ground. Severely weakened, but not yet gone, it stirred up the remainder of it's Gust attack and directed it as a Silver Wind. The winds were bitingly sharp as they buffeted along the hill.

RYDER

Watching as the Butterfree feel to the ground, and shot a silver wind at Artemis. The fox pokemon didn't get out of the way in time, and was hit by the attack. Again she saw the fox pokemon shake her head, and snorted. "Lets try your flamethrower again." She saw the fire gather in Artemis's mouth, and soon the flames shot out again.

[Puppet]

Too weakened to dodge effectively, the Butterfree put all it's last efforts into using Protect. The flames deflected off the shield, keeping the buterfly safe. In the end, the effort caused the pokemon to faint, but at least it wasn't scorched further beyond repair.

RYDER

Artemis watched as the Butterfree used a protect, but the energy it used caused it to faint. Smirking when she saw her owner throw a pokeball at it, she flicked her tail. Looking around, she soon picked up her pace again, leading the way for Ryder. She wondered what other kind of pokemon were here, and if any of them were a threat to her. By threat she didn't mean power, she meant by there beauty. If she found any pokemon who had a beauty that was greater then her, she couldn't say that she would listen to Ryder.

The butterfree still put up somewhat of a struggle, amazingly, and the ball jerked for a minute before clicking shut completely.

Personality: Serene and elegant, the Butterfree enjoys sunny days and clear skies. She holds some pride in her beauty, and will go to lengths to maintain it, even if it sacrifices her chance at winning a battle.

Artemis's eyes glowed in the sunlight, as it blazed over head. The wind blowing through her fur, and her nose was always to the air trying to pick up scents. All she could really pick up though was the small of flowers, and the sometimes the scent of honey. Flicking her tail again, she took a glance around, to see if there was any other grass pokemon in the area with them right now.

A Zigzagoon popped its head out of a grassy hole, sticking it's pointed nose to the air. It's beady and sharp eyes surveyed the area cautiously, clearly a bit territorial of it's home.

RYDER

Ryder watched as Artemis walked looking around, and she sighed. It was a nice day out, but with winter coming, it wouldn't stay like this for long. It wasn't until she heard a bark coming from Artemis that she looked at what her fox pokemon had seen. Smiling she saw the Zigzagoon sicking his head out of the hole. Walking over, she sat down on the ground, "Hello there Zigzagoon." Soon Artemis came over and lay at her side, looking at the smaller pokemon.

The little raccoon pokemon's nose twitched, watching as they approached. It growled sharply, popping back into it's hole for a few minutes before peering over it's edge again to see if they were still around. The ground seemed to be riddled with burrows, because soon five more zigzagoon heads popped up from the hillside, each giving Artemis the evil eye.

RYDER

Artemis had been laying on the ground when she saw the Zigzagoon go back underground, and soon saw five more of them. Flicking her tail she didn't like the look that they were giving her, and she snarled. "Nine, Ninetales!" Warning them not to come any closer to her, or else they would have a fight on their hands. Her dark brown eyes flashed with annoyance as she glared back at them, waiting to see what they would do.

As one, the group all went back underground, apparently to delegate their options. After a few moments, they didn't come back up. But another noise could be heard on the clear, grassy field of the garden, sounding like faint scratchings from an unknown origin. Suddenly, the ground beneath the ninetales paws crumbled in an effort to capture it. The zigzagoon had used Dig to hollow out the area bellow the massive fox's feet, and were now reappearing in their holes.

RYDER

Artemis lay her head back down on her paws when the Zigzagoons when back into their holes. Though after a little bit she heard scratching, and looked around wondering where it was coming from. She didn't have time to move as the ground under her gave in, and she fell down into a hole. Letting out an angry bark, her anger turned to an attack as she shot off a flamethrower. Shaking dirt out of her fur, her tail rose as she used her physic attack as well.

Flames burst through the tunnel system, scorching a few hapless zigzagoons. They screeched loudly, pouring out of the holes at the top. Nearly thirty zigzagoon came hurtling out, woman and children included. It was essentially an entire warren population. The original five were probably just patrol officers. THe psychic attack finished off what remained of the underground's foundations, and the zigzagoons gave a universal cry of dismay as their home caved in. Now, there was a swarm of the little racoons giving Artemis the evil eye, with growls so loud that the ground seemed to rumble with their vibrating throats.

RYDER

Ryder cringed when she saw Artemis let lose her fire attack, and then another attack. Watching as Zigzagoons rushed past her, and heard them cry when their home crumbled. Muttering under her breath at Artemis's foul temper, she quickly recalled the fox pokemon, before she could do anything else. Letting out two pokeballs she let out her Aron, and her Riolu. Watching as the two pokemon let out a small cry when they came out, and looked around. Looking at the Zigzagoons she sighed, "Sorry about that, Artemis's temper seems to get the best of her. But Scarlet and Sammy will help you rebuild your tunnels." She looked as both of the pokemon gave a nod.

Bristling, but a bit more at ease now that the fox was gone, the hord of zigzagoon bustled past the trainer back towards the loose dirt that was their home. It had been built over many generations, and would not be easy work. Since the ground on the original site was no longer stable, they began digging at a place above it, the troops taking it in shifts to work on five different holes at the same time. A baby zigzagoon waddled up to Ryder and barked to her in a friendly manner, still too young to realize what was going on.

RYDER

Scarlet watched as the Zigzagoon's started to dig again, and followed them to their new digging place. Living in caves, she knew what they were doing, and started to dig her own hole. A little faster then the raccoon pokemon. Meanwhile the dirt she digged up, Sammy pushed it out of the way, so it wouldn't pile up.

Sighing, Ryder looked at the pokemon, she should have known that Artemis's temper would have gone off like that. Her attention was drawn, when she heard a small bark, and looked down to see a smaller Zigzagoon. Petting the small pokemon on the head, she noted how cute it was. She normally wasn't one to notice that, but the fact was, it had to be one of the cuttest things she had ever seen. Reaching into her bag, she pulled out some food, and set it on the ground for the young Zigzagoon.
