Kali really didn't care what it looked like- as long as it had some shine to it (because she still was and always would be a raccoon) and she had something to show off/that would claim she was taken. He.. was going to try to make a gem..? "You.. are such a dork.." she teased. Well.. never mind that man-made gems did exist and were typically of inferior quality compared to those made by the earth. If he actually managed to make it himself, it could be more worthless than some pebble laying around the lab grounds, but to her it would be more precious than all the world's finest diamonds combined. Tee~ The question was, then, could he make one in the day or two he said he'd be gone? Or was that just to prepare a part, because she really didn't want to wait.. Smiling softly, she asked, "Why don't you do that for my wedding ring? That way you can have plenty of time to try it, and you don't have to worry about topping yourself~ And then we can just go buy something simple for an engagement ring?" She didn't necessarily need any gem for that, let alone anything crazy (not that she didn't love gaudy things in general, but this was a little different, really.. heh). "Alright," he finally stated after that before pulling Kali close and hugging her close. Despite the emotional roller coaster that he'd been set on, Yue was slowly finding a bit more middle-ground peace, or at least he hoped so.... [/scrolly]

"Well, what are we waiting for?" she chimed, quickly getting up and pulling him along with her. Once she'd managed to coax him off the sleeping bag, she quickly bundled it tight and stuffed it in her bag, not quite fitting it in as well as before it came out, but enough to force the back closed. Absolutely giddy, she grabbed his hand and began pulling him toward the door, not really giving him much say in the matter this whole time. "What are we waiting for? Let's goooo~<3" In her mind, flying was bad, but by the time they made it back to the entrance by foot, the rain would definitely have stopped.[/scrolly]	[atrb=style,border:0 black none;]

Down the previous stairs again and then down a couple hallways until finally they came to the front again. By that time, at least, the rain had slowed quite a bit and was nothing more than a slow continuous drizzle. Using his free hand, Yue pulled out a pokeball and enlarged it before stopping and wondering if it'd just be easier to walk to the commercial district or somewhere.... [/scrolly]

"..Eh. I guess that doesn't seem too bad to walk in," she murmured, as much to herself as her mas-- fiancé! SQUEE. Despite a giddy bit of x3!-ness at this thought, however, she actually had calmed down considerably in the time it had taken to get down to the castle gates. She was still walking on clouds, and probably would be for days if not more, but at least for the moment she was no long quite bouncing off the walls, though how long until another hyper swell hit was anyone's guess. As they started walking out toward the streets again, Kali simply clung to her lover's arm and thought over all they'd been through. She could still distinctly remember the confused denial the day that here in the capital they'd gone shopping for Akira's masquerade. He seemed so much older back then, oddly enough, and such a stubborn ass (though that part hadn't changed much), but he did make her laugh.. She mothered him even back then, and she knew it- back when they'd first met, even, when he cut his hand- yet she was so eager to please him. Somehow, though, it still seemed so unbelievable when a little kindness and proximity made her heart race. But once she accepted that and decided to just go with it, it seemed everything just fell into place.. if a bit shakily at times. Heh. Of course, the whole thing was sort of jump-started got a pretty big jump when-.. Kali's eyes suddenly flashed wide before blinking a few times. "Oh hey, I thought of another question.." she began in a tone that would have been sly if it wasn't so curious. Gazing up at him, she asked, "When exactly... did you first start to 'like' me?" She'd always been curious and just never actively thought about it when he was around or put it in direct context: when had she gone from a child he was reluctant to keep around to a woman he was developing feelings for?[/scrolly]	[atrb=style,border:0 black none;]

"I... am not sure really..." he finally answered back rather honestly. He'd said it out fully and had that full realization that one day he was out with Nathan, but was that actually when it first started? No, far from it, and Yue knew it... He brought a finger up to his own lip in thought. "I.....said it out fully a while back... and came to that full realization but as for when it started....." he feel silent a moment before that thought hit his mind. "I guess... when I saw you in the dress at Duke Akira's ball....Just something more about it all than I was willing to admit at the time...heh....." he finally stated managing another laugh of sorts. She knew she'd seen some reaction at that! Though in all honestly, she really hadn't expected it to be anything more than an 'oh wow pretty' sort of thing, and of course her very intended reaction to her 'call THIS a child'. Heh~ Then again, that only made sense, considering the bit she'd thought of before was only a few days after... "So... when you kissed me the first time- back when I gave you Candy- you really did mean it like that<3" She giggled a bit more. Before too much longer, however, the rain suddenly picked back up out of nowhere, causing Kali to squeak in shock and distaste. The light misting was one thing, but a sudden pour was not pleasant! Pulling at his arm, she ducked under the closest cover she saw and let go to shake out her hair and shudder. "Cold..." she complained. Suddenly wondering just where she'd headed, Kali looked up to realize it was the entrance to a library. She blinked a bit, then looked to Leon. "Oh hey.. Wanna go in for a bit?" At the suggestion to go inside, Yue stared at the door for a few seconds before finally shrugging and reaching to open it. Stepping inside as the brush of cold air hit, Leon shivered a little mostly from his somewhat wet clothes and the general air flow. The library was serene, really. The rows of shelves could easily hide more people than one could catch sight of, but at least it was quiet. "It's pretty quiet...." Yue stated aloud only to find that his voice almost echoed. Turning his head to one side, Yue mentally sweat dropped a little. Looking sideways at Kali, Yue then proceeded to walk slowly forwards before walking down the long hallway of sorts passing the different shelves more or less looking to see if anyone else was even there aside form a librarian that he was sure had to be there somewhere.... And how right Yue was, though one could doubt what he had expected. Far off towards the back of the library sitting in one of the lounge chairs with three stacks of books around him, Nathan Atra was sitting reading . Amina was not far off and seemed to be more or less hovering in front of a book shelf as her eyyes scanned over it. Sensing that someone had entered, Ami stopped and turned her head towards the front. Nathan only seemed to smirk a little to himself and waited patiently for whom he assumed was coming. [/scrolly]

"It really is, though.." she said after a bit. She was starting to wonder if anyone was here at all. Occasionally there was a small sound of movement as they got further in, but she didn't actually see anyone.. Just as Kali was starting to feel creeped out, however, a flash of red caught her eye, barely visible around a shelf a few rows down. For a brief moment, Alias had paled, and his red eye slid over towards Kali before sliding forwards again. He didn't turn and run but neither did he move at all at that point. He'd talked with Nathan before....He had... after a few seconds, Yue cooled and simply crossed his arms and waited. Nathan set the book he had been reading on the stack that was off to his right and then rose before slowly starting over towards the two that had entered the library. Amina had started to follow quickly after Nathan but then hesitated a moment unsure of herself. It will be fine... Nathan's thoughts answered Amina's worries, and after a few seconds, she breathed inwards and nodded her head before slowly following again. "Happy birthday," Nathan called. Yue deadpanned a little. Of course Nathan would know -__\;; Maybe he should have just asked him that question when they had been talking a while back...... [/scrolly]

Just as Nathan was speaking, Kali called out "AMI! I missed you~" She all but glomped the Gardevoir, hugging her tight for just a moment. For all that this Pokemon was the reason for all Yue's mental trauma and missing eye and everything, it wasn't like it had been her idea, right? And she still admired her for what she'd seen of her relationship with Nathan. Then realizing the man had spoken, she shook her head a bit and exclaimed, "Oh, thank you!" It both did and didn't surprise her, really.. Nathan... was such a stalker.. Heh. But then.. Kali grinned brightly; she knew one thing he shouldn't know yet~ She moved almost as if to hide behind Leon, then clung tight to his arm again. "Oh but hey! Tell them~<3" she coaxed. Quietly returning the hug, the Gardevoir smiled a little. 'Heh, hello, Kali' Ami smiled back psychically directing her thoughts only at the only other female in the immediate vicinity. Watching the girl rush back over behind Yue, Ami mentally sighed a little rather quietly to herself as looked at the two rather gently. As Kali began to talk, Ami blinked. Tell....? Nathan blinked a moment when Ami had been glomped but then half smiled a bit to himself. As Kali exclaimed back, he simply continued smiling. In another moment, his gray eyes seemed to follow Kali back to where she almost disappeared behind Yue clinging to him. After a few seconds, Nathan found himself staring at Yue who was already staring back. When Kali had moved, Yue hadn't. He didn't do anything but simply stare at the red haired man and the Gardevoir. However, at Kali's prodding, he finally looked back a moment before looking back again. Resolving to push the conversation along, Nathan opened his mouth. "What?" the red haired man asked raising hsi eyebrow and simply waiting. "Ah... we're engaged," Yue said rather simply in that moment. It had been quite a bit easier to say than he had thought it would be, really. Nathan blinked. Ami turned her head to one side, and both were quiet for a good few seconds. However, after that, a high pitched squeal of joy seemed to suddenly erupt psychically through the air and vibrate pretty much everything. Suddenly Ami was rushing straight past Yue and right towards Kali with a huge smile on her face. <I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU!> Ami piratically shouted. Yue physically cringed as the psychic words and squeals hit him, and at some point, he'd bitten the side of his mouth. Nathan, on the other hand, was now sweat dropping quite a bit at Ami's actions before finally sming. "Congratulations then," he finally answered back. [/scrolly]

"Thank you, I can't wait! By this time, she was giggling like a maniac again, and suddenly coaxed Ami to dance around with her. He just proposed not an hour ago and we're going to get a ring right now once the rain slows down again<3 With her next though, Kali suddenly stopped and blinked. At the girl's thoughts, the Gardevoir could only smile and grin back. 'Oh that's just lovely! Just perfect! I'm so happy for you!' the Gardevoir smiled again projecting her thoughts only to Kali. 'I wish you nothing but luck! Nothing but luck!' She smiled. However, as Kali suddenly stopped, Ami stopped as well and blinked rather slowly for a moment. Hm? Nathan stared at Yue. Yue stared at Nathan. Neither man said anything, yet at some point, both and stared at the two girls and were simply watching them till Kali had calmed and asked the question. Ami, however, was already on the key. You must! That would be beautiful to see! she projected to everyone, Nathan couldn't help but chuckle to himself at Ami. Her excitedness.... so rare when her general nature was to be calm... but seeing it... was just wonderful, really. Yue blinked at the question and then half smiled. "It's up to you," he answered back with an easy grin on his face. "I'd say a wedding though." Nathan chuckled to himself again but kept a calm smile of sorts. "Amina's and my wedding was small and rather simple but still rather nice," he stated. Ami nodded repeatedly on that. [/scrolly]

Nathan's next statement silenced her cold though, and Kali's jaw dropped. "You guys are-..." She blinked several times as she looked back and forth between the man and his Gardevoir as she tried to make sure she'd heard that right. When she couldn't think of anything else it may have been, Kali finally fumbled, "Is that-..." Oh damn. "Probably not," he answered back in a sort of 'but do you think I care' fashion that was soon playing onto his face as well. If anyone wanted to quarrel about it, well he'd fight easy as that... and probably rhetorically and socially crush them into the dirt like the fools they were for challenging him in the first place. The family, shocked as they had been, had come to terms with it at least for the most part especially after reasoning just how long they had been together and all. Ami simply giggled rather softly a little to herself on the matter and then looked back at Kali. 'Yes we're really married' she answered back with a smile only towards Kali. 'I'd never expected it, but then he asked....' she smiled even more. Yue breathed inwards but didn't say anything. Instead, he was more or less eying Amina and then looking sideways at Nathan before finally looking towards Kali and cooling somehow or another. [/scrolly]

She wasn't sure whether to mildly shudder or just deadpan, but either way Kali knew she'd never felt so red yet pale, and she honestly didn't know which was actually the case. And then, of course, there was just the... sheer level of... Damn this Gardevoir's constantly making her reconsider her views of Pokemon. She'd try to draw the conclusion it was just that family or type, but other Pokemon could randomly speak, and when they could what was to stop-... .... ''<.<; Kali.. really hoped Ami wasn't reading the thoughts not intended toward her.. Sweatdropping then, Kali decided to just drop thoughts on that for now and looked back toward the uncannily human Pokemon. "I need to steal you some time for a girls's day," she declared, mumbling just slightly. They could talk more then. For now, a rather nervous smile crept up as Kali hesitated. "But... So um.... I was wondering, Ami... If.. our guys wouldn't mind it..?" She looked to Leon rather than Nathan at this. More than Ami's apparently-husband's consent, she was concerned with how her own love would feel about it given their.. history... After a moment of this, she looked back to Ami and asked, "...Would you maybe be my maid of honor?" She.. was sort of Kali's only female friend, Pokemon or not, and her first female friend in any case. Even if she made more over the next year, that part wouldn't change, though she doubted there'd be many if any.
